- I hadn't found a smart thermostat that will do all of the functions that I want, but, if I pair the Ecobee with Hubitat, it's a great setup that will let me do anything I can think of as far as temperature control in my home.

You're welcome Ron, glad to hear you're having success with Ecobee as well. It's not perfect but the best option I've found.
I have a ecobee and really like it. I also have hubitat and want to use the two together but not really finding a need for it.
I could see not all people would benefit from integration, my eradic schedule and the need for air circulation to blend temperatures from the basement to the main floor is what made it a must for our home.
Enjoyed your video. You mention Hubitat, did you start your smart home by starting off with Hubitat or did you migrate from another ecosystem? I use SmartThings but keep thinking of swapping it out and just wanted a genuine first person perspective on the benefits of Hubitat.

Hot water is typically peoples biggest consumption. Next is phantom loads. Install some kind of monitor, they pay for themselves in a couple years and then you save.
Smart, but still needs to be schooled. Smash.
