Stevie, Christina and Lindsay singing together is the perfect unique harmony. Nothing else like it
I do love them together and particularly here they are as good as anything I've heard, but I wouldnt say they are better at harmonising than the Beatles (John, Paul and George), or the Bee Gees (Barry Maurice and Robin). Probably at the top 3 for sure. Although, the female element does give them something different
The biggest compliment I can give them is that I would say they are better than the Jacksons, the Everly Bros and the Beach boys, though
@@Rowlph8888 I think better is just a matter of individual taste at this level. The acts you mentioned are all masters of their craft. There is a fantastic Country group called Little Big Town that remind me a lot of Fleetwood Mac in their sound. So unique. What a gift to the world all of them are. I really enjoy Fleetwood Mac.
@@melvinsmiley5295I agree, once you reach this level, it’s futile to attempt to crown “The Best.”
Facts.

I was part of the event staff, got to be right next to the stage… still the best show I’ve been to ever

Literally the best job of all time.
HOW BLESSED YOU WERE...BEST PERFORMANCE I'VE HAD THE PLEASURE TO SEE. Even though I watched it on PBS/UA-cam...I STILL GET CHILLS...❤❤❤
Mick's enjoyment level is definitely peaked at 100 the whole show. And I love it.
I love the way he hit the drums and never miss.
HIS EXHUBERANCE DANCE!
He just FEELS the music and I love it!!!!
I remember watching this back then and at itmes when camera was on Mick i was thinking....He was having flashbacks of the day when they were indulging in a few substances.....LOL
the music is 100 percent the drive...... the nutritional supplements take it to 150%
They seriously need to make a rock biopic movie about Fleetwood Mac. I mean, just imagine how amazing it would be. All the behind the scenes stuff going on combined with their music? It would be insane but oh so good. I would give anything to see this happen!
Daisy Jones and the six was kinda a biopic of Fleetwood it's on prime video
@Shawanda Jenkins
I appreciate the reply. However, I meant I would love to see a biopic that is "actually" about Fleetwood Mac, not very loosely based on. You know, with their real names & the real story that includes their actual songs. Similar to the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody."
FWIW, I mean no offense to your recommendation.
Yes, would be fantastic...

Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham staring each other down during the last measures of Silver Springs is legendary.
You could see years of history coming back in both landslide and silver springs
Yup, still gives me chills.
They stared at each other quite a bit during this concert. I think they will always love each other.
I felt that shit during “you can go your own way”
There are no words to describe what they had...this performance of Silver Springs still gets me
That Big Love performance by Lindsey is so good. Such a underrated guitarist.
I agree. One of the best ever.
For me it was all about I'm So Afraid that really showed his talent.
My favorite guitar clip ever. His finger picking is criminally underrated. He's right there at the top of the heap.
Anyone else cry watching and listening to Christine McVie sing Songbird to close? Wow! She had such a gentle spirit. I loved this concert! Thank you to @raphaelwellerson5114 for sharing this DVD. This was a real treat!☮️❤️🎶
the level of musicianship with these guys is over 9000. And this is a live performance! 10/10 perfect show. Those who were there that day is so blessed to have witness this performance in the flesh. Im so envious! X)
Agreed mate.I searched long and hard through hundreds of live concerts and found this was the best live one that I found. There are many other great ones to your point.Absolute magic
Lindsey's outro on "I'm So Afraid"...who else replays it 3x or more? 😍
That's not an outro... That's one of the greatest guitar solos ever made!
@@Renesyseanu OK, it's an outro solo! 😉
That ending hits differently now. Rest in peace, Christine McVie.
What do you mean

We will never break the chain... 🖤
I got this for Christmas in 1997 when I was 5. I’ve been part of the congregation ever since.
tasted it... bit it ..and then...
They just don't make music like this anymore.
What an outstanding bunch of muscians. Christine McVie and Stevie Nicks had just such great voices, complementing each others voices so damn perfect (plus Lindsey!!). John McVie to this day way too underrated as a bass player. Lindsey one of the best guitarist ever to step on stage and Mick, well, what is there to say, just look at his smile.
Love Fleetwood Mac, always will.

Watching in 2024 at work while thinking about my 6-month-old daughter and this performance brought me to tears.
“Songbird” brings me to tears, especially Christine now gone.😢
Me too!😢
I fell in love with Stevie Nicks when the "Rumours" album was first issued and have loved her ever since.
❤❤❤
If you're STILL watching, or just discovered these legends in 2023, then you have OUTSTANDING musical taste.
This is how Great music was once made. From scratch, like your Moms favorite homemade recipe. One ingredient atta time!
THANK YOU FLEETWOOD MAC (& Stevie Nicks solo) for aLL the Joy, Tears & Happiness you've brought to us for nearly 1/2 a Century! Personally helping me battle thru a lifetime of poor Health Hardships, Grueling multiple Surgeries + Recoveries, Mobility Challenges & the Never-ending widespread Intractable Pain. Living in Seclusion, imprisoned in a Hosp Bed at home for 26yrs now, since 40yo. Watching EVERY man eventually walk away, broken promises, unable to cope or help w. My struggles! "Landslide" has been my personal metaphoric song since 1975.

#RIP Christine McVie 💐🕊️Our forever, only Songbird. Now singing 2 us from above, who we already terribly miss. 💔 🖤
Hello there! I empathize with a lot of your struggles, while some I can only imagine. Fleetwood Mac has gotten me through many dark days as well. They are an amazing force, and so are you! Your bravery and tenacity are things to be admired. I wish you the very best. Never stop dreaming. 🖤🌙💕
@Elusive Rainbow Thank you so very much for your kind words & also for taking the time to read my long comment. I can sincerely see that you have also struggled + that we've both relied a lot on Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks as a soloist to help get us through the worst of the worst times. Never ceases to amaze me, to this day, when someone who doesn't know me personally gives compliments as nice as you have. It means so very much. I also wish you nothing but the best and hope that you continue to keep on trucking, as well. Thank you, again. ❤️🌹
@@theelusiverainbow i agree. im 13 years old and Fleetwood Mac has been my comfort band for almost 2 years now. they are true legends.

RIP Christine McVie ❤. It was almost a year ago that you passed. I just learned about this today and I think it is fitting that you are the last person singing for this concert. ❤️
Still trying to get over the fact that I was a 3 year-old kid in Brazil when this concert happened. God, I wish I could've been there! I'm all goosebumps and tears everytime I watch this, good music is timeless.
This music will last until the end of time 😊😊😊
This kids.. is how it's done.
Write great songs that last 50 years then own them when you perform. ❤

RIP Christine Mc Vie A beautiful talented woman !!!
As a black teenager growing up in the 70s our choice of radio stations were limited. So...listening to other stations is how I was introduced to most of their songs. Didn't know the name of the group until years later. Caught this performance watching channel 11, a PBS TV station in Chicago....I listen/look at the entire performance, at least, once a week...LOVE IT...Christine...BAD AS H*LL...❤❤❤
I'm glad this video is available, it will show the next generation what good music is and should aspire to be
Fleetwood Mac's influence on the generations of musicians that followed is incredible. to see them live would have been a real privilege that unfortunately I will never be able to have. Thank you for uploading this Gem !!!
I never had the joy and privelage to see Fleetwood Mac live in concert, despite being a great fan since the late 1960's. 😢
But what I have found out watching this concert of theirs, is that they were not just an excellent group in the sound studios, but were a brilliant live band on top. It is not surprising mind you, most bands from the 1970's had excellent musicians and vocalists who knew how to perform perfectly, an art that was later lost by many bands who could produce fantastic music in the studio, but couldn't reciprocate on stage. Led Zeppelin was one such band, despite being great musicians, in my opinion they were not a great live performance. Others, like Pink Floyd, Dire Straits and Queen were breathtaking in concert, and joining them were obviously Fleetwood Mac. You can easily tell when a band is truly brilliant - when they are live better than on their studio productions, like they were here on "I'm so Afraid" with the magnificent Lindsey Buckingham on guitar !❤
Watching Fleetwood Mac is like seeing a movie but with the ears. Many stories to Tell, emotions high and beauty everywhere. 💜
The Mac at its finest. What a terrific concert!
Absolutely my favorite guitar performance of all time. Bar none. Lindsay❤❤❤
Amen!
THANK YOU for sharing this!! ❣
It's so good. It's just sublime. I actually can't even take it anymore tonight. Words define me. I mean, it's stuttering here now. It's so great. It's just pure greatness. I can't believe all of these talented musicians. Together in the same band it'sbrilliant I have no words.I'm out of words.I'm sure you all are glad of that
fantastic concert, great Voice and Guitar playing from Lindsey, and of course i love Fleetwood Mac since the beginning. I would have danced the whole concert, no chair needed 👍
AMAZING !!!
My sincere Thank you to you Raphael Wallerson
That drummer, he’s freaking awesome. Look at him play his heart out😊
That drummer? He's only the band's namesake...Mick Fleetwood
What an absolutely amazing band they are. I loved watching that concert. They look and sound fantastic. Love that band. Thank you for posting this, I've watched it over and over again as I've been working.
Am I the only one that a Biopic of Fleetwood Mac would be the one with the best story?
I mean if you know the "Rumours" behind them, their live shows hit a lot harder!
Amazon Prime's series "Daisy Jones and the Six" was heavily inspired by the band and all the behind the scenes drama. It's a pretty good show all around.
I only ever listened to the record of this album a long time ago, i didn't realize there were other songs that didn't make it to the record. I'm so glad this was uploaded
Timeless Greatness.❤
They'll never be another group like this.. rest in peace Christine McVee
This live performance never gets old 👍
Fleetwood Mac on the very high level. All songs are so much fresh and boiling than originals I feel. Like magic: all day's unfolding. Thanks!❤(from Jujuy,Argentina)

Rumors. I couldn't stop listening to it. Oh the days of vinyl.
I notice that Mick Fleetwood is still carrying the Same Set of Balls he had on the Rumours album cover way back in 1977. Cute !
Didn't realize until watching this concert how much Lindsey's playing was foundational to their sound.
He’s a remarkable artist, no doubt about it.
Thank you for this.

Yes Ty for that. Absolutely an amazing bass player. Maybe there’s was one song Christine wanted him to sing along to He did and said. If only my mommy can see me now ❤ John definitely got my heart

He really looked like a session musician in this -- in the background, face covered by a featureless green ball cap.
