Great job you have to love a slick side bullet great job on powder coat then I have ordered and of the Ford light blue it is a nice color hope you and your family had a good thanksgiving
This is really interesting. Have you tried resizing these to .358 and using in a revolver? It would be nice to be able to use .356 molds for more than one application.
Easier than a tweezers for standing....I use the 7mm nitrile gloves from Harbor Freight, then I rub a bit of powder on the fingertips and stand up the boolits. The powder doesn't come off when standing and even if it does you can sprinkle just a dab on any bare spot and they usually turn out just as well.
I have heard not to use HF Black on bullets because of it containing metal in it, and will case wear on your barrel. I do not know that for a fact. I never was impressed with HF Powder. I would strongly recommend Eastwood or Powder by the pound.
i powdercoated mine like this, and it was to thick, couldnt even see the ribs, and it left alot around the bottom of parchment paper, and the paper burned and it was stuck to the bottom of bullets..not any luck at all, the next time, they came out all bumpy like sand paper,rough..almost ready to just paint them.ha.
This all sounds nice, like the powder coating works; I haven’t found any powder coatings that actually coat the clean bullets in a uniform coat no matter what I do.
Lee has a similar one to NOE now I bought it seems to work well
Yes. I like the idea of standing bullets up separated for uniformity.
I know this is old , but nice put together video and presentation .
Good video, Josh. My timer doesn’t work on my oven either. It came from the pawn shop for $10. TinMan sent me some of those videos. I like them.
Mine is a hand me down from mom. It gets the job done.
Good information.
Thank you for your time and effort in producing and presenting this video..

One of the best video I’ve seen about those techniques !
I’d like to know your casting lead ? What do you put in there ? Thanks a lot from France 👍
Good stuff . Get them jars and jugs filled up .
I’m working on it. Hopefully by Christmas I’ll have a lot of it done.
Dosen't all of that rough handling damage the bases?
Thank you

Fkng beautiful!👍👍👍👍
Have you ever powder coated lead bullets you bought with the lube ring grease filled? If so, how do you remove the lube before applying the powder?
Most people soak them in mineral spirits or something like that to remove the lube.
@@243Outdoors thx,!
Is that a super Nintendo back there? While you wait for oven to finish no doubt !
Going to start powder coating and was going to use Harbor Freight powder but they stopped selling the red, how does the black or white cover?
