the bite you get from fangs (serpentine) is a free extra attack you get after your main hand attack so in a fullround attack you attack with your sword and get a bite afterwards so it does not interfere with your normal combat but adds to it

For your question: Devils are Lawful Evil, demons are Chaotic Evil

And they come from different planes of existance.

Not an Eldritch Scion build, it's an Eldritch Scion character creation. I was hoping to see how you'd build an ES level by level, at what point would you multiclass and what feats would you take. Disappointed.

Thank you so much for putting this video together. My first time playing this game and the build is so intimidating. You have been a great help!

Not sure you've done a video on this. But going Black Dragon, Strength build and eventually into Dragon Disciple, you're going to get really strong Dragon Transformations even at Dragon II. Gives a lot of bonus strength, it's +6 at 2 and a lot of CON too.

Just making an Arcane Bloodline Aasimar Angelkin. did 18 str, 14 dex, 14 con, 12 int, 8 wis, 16 cha. Sadly I left all of my stats even so no hope of evening out by lvl 20 on one, but I figure he will have 23 str naturally by 20, not bad, helps with weight, especially since I will be leaning on heavy armor by high levels.
Arcane is my favorite. 3 extra spells known. Familiar: Hare gives +4 initiative +2 perception (like a free improved initiative feat). The spell combat helps ignore spell interruption. Arcane Apothesis was game breaking on tabletop, but here it is decent, never failing concentration is beast mode for a melee caster. The cherry on top is school power, +2 dc that stacks with school focus, Magus use lots of evocation, so this is perfect. Throw metamagic feat in and that is +4 DC , lol.

That works, put the lvl 4 point in Int then you qualify for combat expertise, then you can go into combat maneuvers, I recommend tripping

I would like to see a nice Druid build, or a Sylvan Sorcerer which seems to be quite powerful.

Devils,Daemons, and Demons are 3 different evil realm creatures. From Hell,Abyss and one other place I forgot. But they all got their unique. I believe Daemons are neutral evil, you meet a couple in the game.. They are strong.

Tarturus I think? But I could be wrong on that.

If you want BETTER SpellStrike with a specific Heritage, go Arcane (I think). If you see the added spells you get (not the chosen spells, but FREE spell picks) you can pick like up to 6 or 9 spells from the Wizard/Sorcerer spell books, and I mean ALL OF THEM. Obviously, you only want level 1 through 6 spells, as that is all you will be able to cast as a Magus type. Once I found that little trick out, I was Eldritch Scion all the way. Really like it too. I THINK (am going to test later this weekend) any spell attack with the range of TOUCH works, not just the ones that do damage. That may be HUGE if you want to BESTOW CURSE with your blade or another type of enemy debuff (like CONTAGION) that is touch-based you could add through your sword.
Have you tried to see if the touch-based spell-like abilities work on that SpellStrike ability? Undead bloodline has a touch-based move you get at level 1 (I think). Might be worth trying. Also, recheck the differences in the Elemental sets. They are a LITTLE different at the higher levels, especially in your ground speed. Luv the vids man, do one soon with what spells you'd pick as a Alchemist or a Magus if you like the class. Luv to see what you pick compared to me.

      Thanks for the feedback
Personally I prefer playing Eldritch Archer because the 3 range cantrips you have available, Ray of Frost, Acid Splash and Disrupt Undead, allow you to do extra damage every round, where as the other Magus archetypes only get Touch of Fatigue which is an OK debuff but no extra damage.
I have tried to see if the spell like abilities work with SpellStrike
For spell selection it depends on the build. My main party I am currently playing with has my PC Eldritch Archer, plus another Eldritch Archer both with basically the same spells, snowball on level 1, acid arrow and molten orb on lvl 2, Fireball or Lightning Bolt lvl 3 neither of which is SpellStrike-able
Plus I have 1 Magus, 1 Edritch Scion and 1 Sword Saint all basically with the same spells, Shocking Grasp lvl 1, Frigid Touch and Web lvl2, Vampiric Touch lvl 3.
While most of my characters of course have more spells than those that is really all I learn or use. This is not to say that other spells are not useful just that I generally do not use them

That's cool. I think the trick for which spell works is, is it a Single-Target Ranged spell that does damage. But even that is not a guarantee. I tried either Boneshaker or Bone Rattler or whatever its called (the higher level version one) with the Ranged Spell Strike ability and no joy. It fired off like normal, and THEN I attacked with an arrow. Maybe one day I'll test all available spells (even dipping into other caster classes; you never know, I might be able to use Druid/Bard/Cleric spells with Spell Strike) to make a list for everyone on what currently works with Spell Strike (both melee and ranged versions).
Personally, I am defaulting to Eldritch Scion for the Magus class as my favorite. More a sorcerer feel to it and I love having only a small selection of really good spells that I can spam on targets as needed.

I am finding the Sword Saint more fun than I thought it would be, although it is not my primary character. I do agree that Eldritch Scion is good as well because I also like the easier spell use.

Maybe a video on animal companions. Sylvan Sorcerers, Druids, rangers, etc use them. Even clerics do with animal domain

Thanks for the suggestion. I will see what I can do. I have not gotten to the animal companions in any of the play throughs I have started so far, but when I do I will try to put something together.
