Oh Yes, quite! He was in France live, in Holland, in Germany of course and countless others in which he was already known for his records. The most well known Orchestra of the 20s in Europe
If you listen to this, then you have excellent tastes !
Berlin really was the Jazz capital of the 1920s.

One of the greatest Bands of all time. I never tire of hearing Jack Hylton's great orchestra.
Me too, it’s one of my favorites
Danke.
Their second album took 3 minutes to record😮
Beeindruckende Aufnahme.

This sounds pretty good, and the videos are a nice touch! Bravo!
Thank you very much! Without you I would’ve never even edited my recordings
I can only hope these guys played the Overlook Hotel.
They did play the masquerade from the shining soundtrack
@@DasJazzArchiv Wow, I thought something seemed familiar.
Where in Berlin was this recorded? It must have been in a very big hall, of some sort. You can really hear the acoustics.
This was recorded in the so called “Beethovensaal” in Berlin, has amazing acoustics, Marek Weber and his Orchestra recorded lots of songs there
@@DasJazzArchiv Thank you very much! Does it still exist?
Sadly it got destroyed by bombers in 1944
Michael Jackson had nothjng on the dancer in this video.
Happy Feet belonged to those who were fortunate enough to exit Germany when Hitler became Chancellor in Germany, 1933.
