The action in this movie is fun, but Liam Neeson's performance really gets you so emotionally invested that every time he takes out a bad guy, it's eve more satisfying.
Indeed. When he was filming it, he was worried that some of the lines might be too hokey, and asked whether they should be changed, but they kept them the same and he worked hard to bring it to life. In the end his performance made you feel this story so strongly and it was a huge success.
As daddy's girl, of course I cried...twice. I felt for the girl who was soo lucky from the construction site & especially his daughter was found.
I was crying with Stephanie at the end. When Kim said, "Daddy, you came for me," I started, but when she started sobbing, I couldn't hold it in. Tissue time. By the way, it's a lot nicer to hear your comments now, the way you have your mics set up. When speaking at a normal level, no echo, which is great because I like you two. :)
I've seen this a million times, and I still bawl at that part, too. I immediately think about the millions of trafficked out there that have no hope of anyone coming for them.😪

The movie of the famous memes! And an exciting movie to boot. Liam made several likewise movies and it's easy to see why. He does it so well.
This movie started off a little slow but once it got going, it didn't stop until the very end, one of Liam's best movies for sure. I never saw part 2 or 3, as I figured nothing was ever going to top this first effort, but maybe one day I'll give them a go.
They're great! Watch them when you can :)
My opinion on that is they aren't that great. Just cheesy repetitiveness too cash in on. The story and the way it ended left no openings to continue. How they got around that is ridiculous but that's obviously just me. This one will stay awesome forever. I can feel the haters coming already

Part 2 is very similar and part 3 is basically The Fugitive (same generic plot)
2 wasn't too bad. The action scenes were decent, although you could tell Liam is getting older. Part 3 sucked. To me, it acted as if 2 never happened, and they changed the actor who plays Stewart. You could pretend the final movie never happened.

I would never say this to a parent who is going through this. But I'd be thinking it. This is your fault. You badgered Bryan into agreeing to let kim go to France. Bryan told you this could happen. You just brushed him and his feelings off. Literally calling him paranoid.

Yeah, honestly, I felt the exact same way. She thought he was exaggerating or smothering her when he was absolutely right. She was way too young to be traveling alone.
I never understood why she did this in the beginning. She left him because his job was dangerous (she knew what he did, and his constant absence made her want to leave). So when he tells her it's possibly dangerous for their child, she just thinks he doesn't know what he's talking about?? Maybe she got too comfortable from being with her new husband, idk. It just irked me. You use the excuse of leaving for your child's safety and then throw said child to the wolves.
😤 Indeed! I was so glad Bryan called her out on her bull shit logic that just because Kim and Amanda are staying in the "best hotels" doesn't mean they're gonna be safe. Like seriously, what the hell were they thinking? I saw this when I was eighteen, and even I knew how stupid it was for them to be traveling by themselves. It pissed me off how Lenny was quick to guilt trip and talk down to Bryan as if he's beneath her 😒🙄

I cry at that part too but its because i think of all of the ones out there who have no hope of anyone coming for them. I really dont think people realize how accurate all of the situations are in this. The human trafficking is taking over the drug trade because you can sell people multiple times a day. They even have doctors to sew and patch the victim up so they can heal and do it all over again. Its happening everywhere around us and no one knows or no one wants to know.

A teenage girl hiding under the bed from someone dangerous and evil under bed while on her phone with someone trying to help her made me think of "The Call" (2013) starring Halle Berry. It would be interesting to see you react to that movie.

You did that in Europe or US? Because that there (at 11:30 btw) is a atrium, those metal profiles are protecting the protruding bricks they rest on. Those protuding bricks are exactly there to stand on .. or better said to have boards laid across the atrium to be able to access the walls for paintjobs and other repairs, because the atriums are typically to narrow (back in the day when buildings were built like that) to erect scaffolding.
The unrated version is better. During the torture scene, Brian stabs Marco in the kneecaps with 12 nails and hooks the battery cables to the nails stuck in his bones. So amazingly brutal. "I need you to focus!" Lol.

Deserved to be bitter? She knew what she was getting into - there is this thing in the vows, "...for better or worse..." - but she decided to have a child with him and could not even make it five years before she decided to dump him, take their daughter and get herself a rich man on Easy Street. Years later, she continues to belittle the father at every turn. Call me crazy, but I don't think she was the one who "deserved" to be bitter. [edited b/c autocorrect is a #@!%$]
Ok I see that point too! I guess I was coming from it solely from a mom’s perspective and the father not being present in the daughter’s life until later in life. You’re right though, if that is what she signed up for it should be for better or worse.
I wouldve been on board woth the whole follow a rock band tour thing if it was anyone other than U2. Teenage girls dont usually listeb to U2 let alone want to follow the bands tour

I’ve watched about 10 reactions to this movie with couples. Women are very, very engaged in this film and often brought to tears . Dudes feel it too but more with anger. I like that we’re different. Nowadays people don’t like it so much.

Has Stephanie seen "Man On Fire" or "Training Day"? Two amazing Denzel movies.
Training Day is excellent but if you plan on watching Man on Fire you should watch the original starring Scott Glenn first (they are both great). Glenn also played Roger in Training Day.

I LOVE this movie. Did not like the second one, the third one was actually decent and I don’t mind watching it from time to time!! So would definitely recommend Taken 3!
I guess everyone noticed that the 19 year old was more immature than the 17 year old. Yes, they do now appreciate his skills. That is obvious in parts 2 and 3, especially part 3.

I like your channel and content, but you gotta work on your editing. The cuts and jumps are so choppy that it's very difficult to follow the story which takes away from the reaction. I've watched a lot of Taken reactions, and the amount of stuff cut out of this one is wild. If I hadn't seen the movie before, I'd be a little confused.

If you want to see another film where Liam Neeson does not suck, it would be Rob Roy. A movie made the same year as Braveheart and it is about another Scottish folk hero, Robert Roy McGregor, played by the non-sucky Liam Neeson. Also Tim Roth does not suck as one the main antagonists, Archibald Cunninham. Brian Cox does not suck at playing the partner in crime. Eric Stoltz does not suck at playing the number one trusted clansman of Robert McGregor. Jessica Lang does not suck at playing the wife of our man Rob. John Hurt also doesn't suck at playing a Scottish nobleman.
