Joe Pera is a dedicated supporter of McDonalds for a wide variety of reasons...
Joe Pera is from Buffalo and has been doing standup in New York since 2009. Joe has performed his low-key Buffalo Bills and Declaration of Independence jokes in a variety of venues including clubs, theaters, subway platforms, and art galleries that are more of someone's house than an art gallery, as well as at his own weekly show 'The Dan + Joe + Charles' Show' (every Tuesday at 8pm at the Creek and Cave). Graduating from Ithaca College with a film degree, Joe has continued to make short films, many of which can be seen on his website - www.joepera.com

That was a strange room, lot of outright laughter. For me, Joe Pera isn't the type of comedian I really outright laugh at very much, but just kind of appreciate, like a rich cheese. Speaking of cheese, I know that France has a lot of cheeses up there. You ever wonder what the first guy that made cheese was up to? How about him. Anyway, my Uncle was part French so I've always felt akin to it. Maybe that's why I like thinking about cheese while I listen to Joe Pera s'much. Anywho, I hope you're having a good day, but I've gotta go, my dog's howling at me.

I honestly don’t think Joe Pera is a comedian. I think there was some confusion and a club host accidentally had him come on stage, and he did not know what to do, so he just started talking to the crowd. He is so wholesome and loveable no one noticed and he stumbled into the career he has now. Joe Pera is real.

When he said McDonalds reminded him of his dad, I was waiting for a punchline. Then, there was none. That sweet moment, awkwardly inserted in a comedy bit, made me feel ashamed of myself for expecting a punchline.
it created the tension necessary for making the follow-up joke sound funnier (simply asking if anyone had ever tried McDonald's bacon habanero quarter-pounder)

I just discovered Joe Pera two days ago. Love his HBO movies and his stand up. Refreshing, simple, optimistic…absolute genius. Love the comments too!! I am not alone in my awkwardness and appreciation of this talented young man.

Norm MacDonald said to the effect it's one thing for a comedian to get up there and have thunderous laughter, but later on you feel kind of queasy about it. It's a lot harder to get people to smile.

Joe Pera stand up is somewhat hard to watch, not that he isn't funny or anything like that but he's so different from other comedians. I don't laugh often, I just sit and smile, nodding as he tells a story or a anecdote. I honestly cry more at Joe Pera stand up than anything. I'm going through something right now.. so I've been watching Joe Pera again to try and keep a grasp on my humanity

In short I believe you are incorrect in saying that Mitch Hedberg's humor is all about delivery. He is one of the few comedians whose material is funny across mediums.
He should do voiceovers, with that voice, that accent and that tone!

Its a great character, i love tje style and it warms the heart , i have heard hjm speak normally and obviously the adult swim joe is who hes being on stage , this is like asmr comedy which i think gives a whole new perspective on what is comedy , its fantastic
