Thanks for telling me about my root. I never get to know this place even though I am from this place. And they mentioned so many important places that my dad do tell me but I am not privileged to be there. Hopefully I will be there some days
Am so delighted to watch this documentary. Infact, i woke up this midnight and the thought of my town came to my mind to know the history of my town. You have done a great job, i can't thank you enough bcus I didn't know any of this history. Am the Son of the popular "Ejo yin" in Lanlate. I don't think there is anyone who doesn't know my father in Lanlate. Ile Osin Aderibigbe compound. Am Adeniyi Adeoluwa. Happy to see the face of our king and all those mountains you know. Quite a while i visited home Anyways. But, God's willing, this December, i wish to be home. Nice seeing some faces here from my town. One ❤
Welldone brother, you have done a good job, i commend your effort. Yes, there are factions in the history as being narrated in your documentary but If you want to know the true history of all the Yorubas, there is a book called THE JOHNSON HISTORY, my dad (Chief David Olusiji Olojede) of blessed memory has that book and he was also one of the historian who can tell about the history of Lanlate. To enjoy the journey to Lanlate history, i will recommend that yiu get that book and compare it with this documentary. Well done Sir
Hello, you tried but your journey is still far. To put up a documentary like this and call it history of Lanlate, I disagree with you. You would have won my commendation better, if you had called it, part of Lanlate history. I'm a true son of the soil, that is why I cannot agree with the "history". Where is your research report on Bolorunpelu? What about Onitabo? You interviewed two different persons live who gave you a seemingly different overview but concluded with one? Maya is more than a market but also has a ruler. I'm not watering down your effort but my town is more than you compiled. Well done.
Thank you very much for your comment. I really appreciate. However, I have noticed that everyone in the town was saying different stories that favors their faction. It was until when I got there that I discovered that they have "2 kings" one recognized by the government while the other was not. Everyone narrated different stories about the settlement of the town in order to favor them. You coming up with yours is not a surprise to me. The people of Lanlate need to come together as one. United we stand, decided we fall. Moreso, if you're not satisfied with whatever they say, it's a free world, you can put up your own thoughts about it. After all, I didn't fabricate the story, it was narrated by the people of the town Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. I'm sure, if you come up with your own side of the history, some people will still fault it. Thanks anyways and God bless.
I'm overwhelmed with joy. Thanks for bringing the history of my home town to the notice of the world. More strides bro... ❤❤❤❤❤
