I absolutley love this song and video, the Boys are so gentle and loving with these cute babies. Especially Chris, it's one of the rare occasions where he really seems calm and happy to be there. And at 2:56 he says something too ^^ a pity Chris never had children of his own, he seems like he would've been a great father. The lyrics will always be relevant in this cruel world. It would be tempting to describe it as mediocre were it not for the fact that it communicates his lyrics with such subtlety, humour and pathos. There's no one quite like him, and no duo like PSB. One of the most underrated PSB songs...The end is particularly fantastic..and given that the ends of PSB songs have always been very strong, this really says something.
This beautiful and touching song always gives me comfort and hope. And there's another powerful message in it for me, that the music shall last. Maybe we tend to forget how important is music in our lives. I think there are only a very few people who would say they don't like/listen to music. Music gives us so much - joy, hope, even faith, consolation, company and so on. I find songs from PSB's vast catalog to fit my actual mood. There are songs that make me laugh, songs that make me cry, songs that give me strength, and songs that make my life better. There are no appropriate words to express my gratitude for this. Love and respect for Neil and Chris. And it doesn't matter what kind of music gives you these feelings. There are some styles/genres I simply cannot tolerate (but I won't name them), but when I think about it that these may affect others the same way as PSB songs affect me, then I realize that it's music that matters, and the emotions it induces.

Nos anos 90 meu tio foi morar em Londres e 5 anos depois ele voltou para o Brasil com uma mala cheia de CDs, coisa rara na época. Dentre os CDs tinham duas bandas que quando coloquei para escutar, meu gosto musical mudou para sempre: Pet Shop Boys e Erasure.

This beautiful and touching song always gives me comfort and hope. And there's another powerful message in it for me, that the music shall last. Maybe we tend to forget how important is music in our lives. I think there are only a very few people who would say they don't like/listen to music. Music gives us so much - joy, hope, even faith, consolation, company and so on. I find songs from PSB's vast catalog to fit my actual mood. There are songs that make me laugh, songs that make me cry, songs that give me strength, and songs that make my life better. There are no appropriate words to express my gratitude for this. Love and respect for Neil and Chris.
And it doesn't matter what kind of music gives you these feelings. There are some styles/genres I simply cannot tolerate (but I won't name them), but when I think about it that these may affect others the same way as PSB songs affect me, then I realize that it's music that matters, and the emotions it induces.

With everything that is currently happening around the world right now (i.e., pandemic, protest, riots, etc), I really needed to hear this song! Love Pet Shop boys and this really hit deep and had me thinking, will everything be alright!?!? This brought me a little peace and seeing those babies gave me the feels!! I keep telling my kids "It's going to be alright". 😀👍🙏💕
