The car drives like stock except for that cabin noise you’re getting while cruising. I assume it’s from the drag setup.

Question I am thinking of getting a twin turbo setup but I'm worried that I won't be able to get the car loose at lower rpm like say at a stop I just smash the gas would it fishtail or no due to turbo lag? Also what about if I was going 60mph
Twin turbo cars don’t have as much lag as people think. Just like anything else you have to get used to the power and how it comes in. Car will break loose at any rpm depending on tire you have on the car. Smash the gas from a stop on a tire that won’t hold and the car will spin for days lol. Got to remember you have the stock 460 hp that you have without the turbos until the turbos spool up. It’s not like you have 250hp without the turbos. For this reason the you have plenty of power and the turbos come on fast.

Love the build as is near stock...max of 93 at track and max street will hold not at track with a touch of a button...
Me and the wife put over 500 miles on mine last week, I got almost 26mpg and got to scare her up in the mountains s.....
Your dead right my car hits like a mack truck...harder than whipple or oden at the same boost pressures ( probably same as Loki with a larger tb on Loki) and it honestly makes it harder to deal with in every way....I cant turn it down enough to get a clean pass without a shit ton of practice, driver input, tuning, ect..
Then to max at the track id have to pulley down.....I could probably squeeze another PSI on 93 for track but who wants to do that all the time.....
I have some Nitto NT555RII in 305 45 17 coming tomorrow and im going to put them on the VMS drag pack while mickey thompson is out and go over to just SEE what kinda 60ft I can get out of them this weekend if the weather holds.....
Getting oil changed and sent of to blackstone again, checking all the bolts myself while its on the lift ect...then hopefully Saturday I can give us a comparison from the Mickey SS to the new Nitto in same size. Car did a 1.58 with a 12 degree ramp leaving in 2nd...and the pill in ( slowing boost ) on stock axles...
It will be leaving up on the timing this time but im sure the tire will be the weak link.....but ill get us that answer they can run rain and are $247 each vs $330...hehe plus you know ET Rs seem to unobtainium....
I'm gonna leave the stock axles if they break ( probably from wheel hop haha) they do, I have aftermarket Im just curious to see if they would have held "the sauce" in 2nd...
I also 100% believe your exhaust situation is perfect, im getting old and already have one loud slobber monster car...when i went to catless headers ive been adding a ton of mufflers to get back to a stock sound no drone...took 5.....the Resonated X mid muffler added to the rest done the trick at normal driving.......
But with a supercharger allow the stock engine to live on 93 im a firm believe in minimum a MAK cat delete or LTH catless with the neck down cut off, well now your wake the dead loud....and you have to spend money to get them, get em on, cut the neck down, catback new mid...normally that would be what 3k on top of the blower?
Your twins with a mid muffler delete and H on the stock exhaust probably flow fine for 93 and if not add dumps....
When you think about the exhaust you need to add to any supercharger, your twins just cannot be beat....your going to be in same money, since it puts no additional strain on the OPGs, most people wouldn't even need to change them until you build the short block......especially your 2020 that has the newer dampener revision ( post may 2019 long blocks so if your engine build date is may 2019 or newer your golden, don't ask me how I know lol).....
I love it just like it is a big single pump, 93 on gate and whatever you ease up on at track....say 10psi...shit...perfect setup for my money....
I'm like the others good to see you refreshed and happy, I know you waited longer than you wanted to and went thru a little hell to get boosted starting all the way back to the old shop, no one deserves "a plan to come together on UA-cam more than you" good luck, God willing ill get over there a weekend or 2....

Depends on boost level and conditions that day. 6.5 first day at the dragstrip is my goal for sure.

chuxsvt for a simple boost controller that is easy to adjust and ability to save as presets. I love it. But I will be switching once I’m ready to go Co2 to be able to control it and also so I can bring the boost in while going down the dragstrip.

I bought some of the new NT555RII Nittos in 305 45 17, im headed to track but ill report my zero to 60 on street as well ( no toyo noise, come in 28inch, are designed for lateral acceleration vs track, and for my 19s if they work decent on the 17s; $320 vs $440 for Toyos in the 19...and $247 vs $330 and I don't think Toyo makes a 17 for sure not a 305 28 incher)...
I'll get us that data wish me luck they sold out in 3 days, and if they work decent it will bring the SS and R prices down a bit...right now if you truly Street, need a 28 inch like most racers, we have been stuck with MT SS tires for years ive legimately had 20 pair...
I'm crossing my fingers for competition in that area, MT is terrible about not only balancing but run out every 2 or 3 pairs i get are nearly unusable and they, MT, won't do shit about it Summit usually will...ive even had the front runners have insane run out causing insane vibrations with the tire shop taking video...MT wouldnt do shit but Summit did...
I'm sure I'll end up with the nitto on the 19s and a ET R or M&H on the 17s when they are back in stock but after selling my used SS, I thought as cheap as they are why not spend a few hundred and see what they can do this weekend...

What RPM does the boost start coming on with a kit like this?
Jesse Henry I’m at full boost around 3k. Once I get a boost guage installed. I’ll wear my POV cam so you guys can see.
