I just took delivery of this 98” tv about 4 weeks ago. I have all Sony panels in my house. I got a pretty decent deal on this one for $6950. I couldn’t be happier with it. I’m spending too much time in front of it though. Lol. I sit about 9 feet from the screen and have a 7.2.4 setup. Congratulations on your new toy!
hell ya man! have you done any calibration? what settings did you find were best? I just did the basic stuff I always do but I found a few things that I am back and forth on in the settings depending on what I am watching. It is really bright and some of the whites are hard to tame (a little too white). I figured out a few things that made it better but I am curious to see if you know what I am talking about LOL
Not sure if it’s the angle the camera is placed, but the size of that woofer enclosure in relationship to you is nuts! Badass television set, brother! Enjoy.
@meade916 , also having the wall mount from the last TV looks like it made the install pretty smooth. Once again props on a supper clean and kick ass setup.

It’s funny how those subs always made that 85” look like a 65”. This is still one of if not the sickest setups out there! Steve you always impress us!!!
actually the gigantic wall swallows up everything in it's path too. The ceilings are 15' tall but even at the lowest point by the Atmos heights, it is 10'. So there is a major illusion happening, especially when I film from 18-20 feet back LOL
Things a beast. I have the 75 inch, really neat TV. Works flawlessly with any Sony product and you can control it with a PS5 controller. I have a 4k projector with a 140" screen in the basement, but the Sony TV is more vivid IMO.
Crazy that on camera it doesn’t look crazy huge from the seating position because of the giant subwoofers but once you walk in front of the tv the whole setup dwarfs you!

"Not gonna be that much bigger..." but the display size difference between 85 and 98 is around 33%. It's a HUGE difference in size.
