Back in 2013 I found one of these in a scrap bin with no plastics or a carb. I bought a china carb and it fired right up. I rigged plastics from a polaris onto it and just rode the shit out of it lol.
That thing is absolutely awesome.
I've used an '87 on the farm for 12 years. Ive put a manual timing chain tensioner on it thats all I've done besides basic maintenance. It's been a good one.

I bought a HONDA 4×4 in 1986 or 1987 for my family farm also. It was better than a cattle dog for rounding up the cows out of the farm fields. Some person took my ATV key without my permission and destroyed it. Jealous people do foolish things. Maybe GOD will curse the person with Cancer if it His will.

The '86-'89 Hondas had straight front axles. I think they were the only ones. So fun to ride!

What’s the replacement muffler that’s on there?
From a 2002 Yamaha Big Bear 400. Took at little bit of welding but the end result was better than oem. I even transferred the heat shield mounts 👨🏻🏭

where could a guy find a carburetor for one of these bikes ?
eBay, but I would recommend having the OEM carb cleaned if possible. Also fuel pump can be bought on eBay or Amazon as well
