I absolutely loved using these markers today! I think they really have changed the marker game forever. This is one of the biggest and best upgrades I've seen a marker brand make!
After more than 10 years of using Markers, I'm just absolutely amazed.
I do hope that you like them and enjoyed the video today? If you have any suggestions or questions, feel free to ask me in the comments and I'll do my best to answer what I can.
Have a great day, BYE
I hope you all enjoy this video, It's a big deal for me both being sponsored by such an Amazing brand, but even more, the Markers are INCREDIBLE!
I will have a follow up video soon, and put them to their greatest test.
if you want a brush varient maybe you can buy a copics brush nib and replace it with the chisel or the bullet nib
@Mustafa Ahson I'm not made of Money. Haha
I wasn't aware that ohuhu markers were refillable. Is it just the redesigned markers that can be refilled? Thanks for the video!
Do they stop making brush nibs?
Good choice of coloring book, and definitely makes me want to try out some markers.
Ohuhu started off like any other cheap alcohol marker, but when they released the brush nibs… damn did they change the game! They keep doing what the big brands are doing but for an incredibly affordable price, it’s ridiculous!
Great vid as always, much love 💕
It's hilarious. They're offering features that brands use to up their costs... yet these are the same price AND HAVE A DISCOUNT CODE !!!!
Just think on that. Most companies use the same manufacturers too (I know of a couple shan't name), but they use their name/brand to up prices to consumers.
Ohuhu are genuinely proving themselves the best for a consumer
I wrote about this before in my article, but the thing I love about them and often point out is that they really listened to people about how to improve their markers. When they first came out, they weren't great but they took the critiques and advice, which allowed them to improve their formula so much, that I now own more of them than any other alcohol marker brand. The willingness to listen to their customers tell me that the brand really cares about producing the best product they can while still keeping it so affordable.
Exactly. I touched on it slightly, I wasn't impressed at the beginning and was critical. But as times progressed, they have made all the correct moves FOR THE ARTIST, instead of remaining stubborn. They are awesome
You know for a lot of channels I always call BS when it come to sponsors. But for the length of time I’ve seen you use ohuhu markers and the praise you’ve given them over the years, this may be the most genuine sponsored video i’ve ever seen
Thank you.
Yes, there's always a slight bias for sponsors due to terms. But we were very clear with them that we will do this our way. As I am with most sponsors, they'll need to adjust to accommodate me. This was a big risk for me, with a reputation for alcohol markers, I have to be clear and honest. :)
I just ordered the 60 pack art illustrators and probably will order the other 60 art landscape markers if I like them.
@@ADCArtAttackalso sa arise a razor blade and get that glass out 😂. I am shocked the glass actually didn’t come out naturally over time maybe because on thumb always pressing in.
Facts
You and Jazza put me on to these markers about a year and a half ago, and I haven't used any other since. Glad to see they have continued to elevate their brand.
Man! Time to expand my Ohuhu collection again. I hope they’ll make a brush variation in the future.
Standing ovation.
You finally did it ADC. A sponsorship from an amazing marker brand. I never thought I’d see the day where broad nibs were relevant.
Those skin colours look so good! I'm glad someone's doing this
The skins are incredible!
I'm gonna tackle Darker skins too, but from what I saw in the set, just an unreal diverse collection ! The fact I didn't even test the colours before using aswell, I'm shocked how easy they worked together.
I've been considering getting the Ohuhu markers for quite some time (I found out about them from your videos) so... I think after I check the damage on my wallet after Christmas, I'm going to get some :D
if you are not in a hurry, wait for them to have a sale. i got my last batch for under 0,60ct (€) per pen. i think they have a birthday sale this year in june
I just bought the 168 set and the 36 skin tones. I really like them and it's the best option to expand your marker collection without breaking he bank. Plus, they have the fine/brush combo I love!
Is the brush tip that much better gonna buy alcohol markers next week. Deciding against Kaala illustration and maybe skin tones. Or maybe just get the brush tip ones.
@@Snickerszn I've been using them exclusively for Drawlloween this year. In comparison to the two other brands I have (Windsor & Netwom and Copic) I find Ohuhu a tiny bit firmer but very workable. Value to quality of alcohol marker, Ohuhu is definitely my top choice. Now that they offer refills, it's a game changer! Plus, I can get my favorite combo of a fine tip and brush tip which I cannot with Copic. The only downside is the caps don't match the color precisely. However, they include swatch paper with marker numbers which no other company does that I'm aware of. Plus the cases are really nice too.
Anthony, there is a tutorial on how to do refills of markers. You put drops right onto the chisel tip. You don’t have to remove it. I’ve done it several times refilling my markers
The only thing i dislike about ohuhu is that they don’t seem to re activate when dried and I didn’t find that out until later also the ink when layered too much starts to crystallize. But asides from that it really is a good marker brand and i love them
You can replace the broad nib with the replacement brush nibs from Ohuhu. I tried as soon as I received these and it works perfectly.
Great video. The art you colored with the markers was incredible, and so vibrant.
Refillable, eh? Guess I'm a need a new Ohuhu skin set. And I like that shape. My markers are always rolling off the desk.
I love my Ohuhu markers. I watched your cheap vs. expensive and jumped straight in.
The fact these aren't brush and bullets had sadly put me completely off these markers. Thank you for your review and fingers crossed they bring out that variant in this shape. For now, I'll stick to my Honolulu ones and hold off on the upgrade
Am I the only one concerned he has glass in his thumb? Please get it removed!
I've had it for 7 years now. I did a mini operation 6 years ago, took out most.
From what I've seen/read, it won't cause a problem leaving it. However, yeah I should remove it for a matter of comfort. Lol
Same😂
Glass is inert in the human body. At this point his body has encased it in specialized tissue, a process called "foreign body response". As ADC mentioned, beside the occasional discomfort, there is nothing to be concerned about. I have lived with the remnant of a large wooden splinter in the top of my hand for decades.
@@ADCArtAttackyour body may eventually reject it out , I have seen it happen
@Jared Carson me too
I just bought a set of those that had a bunch of different greys. Red, green, blue, yellow, cool and neutral. I think there were 36 total and they cost me (in america) .85 cents apiece. I also have one of those cool cases, but it's the older style
Thank you for reviewing these. This really is the best channel for reviews; your a pro but you explain it in a way that I, a beginner, understand. 👍👍
I have used Ohuhu markers for several years. For the price they certainly can't be beat. There are a few critiques I have, but looking at the site after watching this they seem to have eliminated one of those. I found it frustrating that they had over 300 colors, but had the largest set of brush markers being 120. However they appear to have the full color range available now.
The first continued critique is that I have found that they have a slight shine to them, which can make them a bit difficult to photograph. Second, you cannot buy individual markers or refill them, they do now seem have about a dozen colors of individual marker colors available for replacements but that's it. Not that helpful when there are over 300 colors. Even though these have the removable nibs, at this point it would be only to replace the nib sine they don't appear to have color refills.
Yet once again, for the money they can't be beat.
Ohuhu stepping up their game even more lol😂
In a HUGE way.. Blown away by the upgrades.
I am blown away and have regained a love and respect for Ohuhu! High quality marker housing case, and I don't think the markers bled at all. I'm going to be serious about one day getting a set like that!
No they didn't bleed at all!! When I was watching this video back I noticed how strong those lines were. Hardly any breakage if at all.
@@ADCArtAttack Absolutely an improvement right there.
i already have the old model but I still like these
ADC is all ways is keeping us going keep it up ADC
Great video but my favourite bit was the giggle when you rolled off screen 🤣
Whoa, Ohuhu knocking it out of the park with these!!
I think you can replace the broad or bullet nib with brush nib replacement.
I got Ohuhu markers last Christmas and they are really good! This video game me so much inspiration!
I am so excited they look so pretty I don't like to draw or anything too often to keep my markers hanging on and these will last even more, even if they plan on doing this again with brush markers I think I'll grab these too.
That colouring book is really amazing.
Ohuhu are absolutely killing it!
I think Ohuhu is a great brand, also a great Copic alternative. I love how they're making some improvements to their product (like producing a brush nib like Copic Ciao/Sketch, new ink formulation, reshaped body etc.). Can I suggest you review Arrtx both ALP and Oros for the next video? I mean you reviewed all of the previous marker brands before, except Arrtx. I heard it's also a great Copic alternative, and I just suggest maybe try reviewing Arrtx. Not being too partial on Arrtx or something, just a suggestion of mine for you know, the next video.
ow glass in your thumb! prob should get that removed😜 the markers do blend really well
Great video! Tempted to get those markers haha. The colors really popped! Can’t wait to see what you create with them! :) Congrats on the sponsor, well deserved!!
I am in love with Ohuhu. As an amateur artist, they fit into my price point while providing excellent quality.
Hey Anthony! Great video, love it! Make sure to keep an eye on your health mate. I hope you're okay. Good job!
This looks AMAZING, you did an awesome job on Vexx’s coloring page 🥰
love tht ur doing a vexx piece
Could you try sanjoki markers? They are cheap($60 for well over 100 markers a nice case, marker and marker paper) as well as AMAZING in quality! You cant TRUELY say one is better without trying these ones too! In my experience, sanjoki markers are better than even COPIC markers! They blend better, theyre more vibrant, as well as easier to work with!
Those new cases are a huge step up from the canvas bags their markers came in before. Although, it looks like they are still just dumping the markers in, as opposed to being in any kind of order.
But, I guess that's a small price to pay for some markers that really hit above their price point.
There's no order but I will say, they bounce when you drop em in.. its, erm... very fun haha but I'm immature.
They're a huge step up though. I much prefer this design
Hopefully they can ship to Australia soon, I'm glad it's on the Australian Amazon website. Australia misses out on so many cool items, hopefully shipping isnt too bad ;v
i can relate
good job Merry christmas.
I really like Ohuhus, but unfortunately after looking online, these still aren’t refillable 😢
Thank you so much for your content! I watched your video this morning and just finished placing my order for three sets! I am a little nervous about the chisel tip, as I am used to a brush tip but, the way they performed in your video sealed the deal. I can't wait to try them. Keep up the good work!
Yeah, me too! Chisel tips are always ones I avoid! But this one, is actually super nice.
I'd still limit to flat colouring, but it's good to know it can actually handle blending too.
I'm wondering if you have tried switching the brush nip for the bullet or chisel from the older style if they would fit and be interchangable?
I got into Alcohol Markers because of videos like these. Ohulu was one of the first brands I bought. Actually I have bought both Ohuhu Markers and Arteza markers after watching your videos. I have 144 Arteza markers, 96 Ohuhu Oahu markers, and now thanks to this video 144 Ohuho Kaala markers ....Thanks Bra...lol😉
That is a solid collection you have there !!
Glad you enjoyed your sponsorship and didnt have to force your reactions and remarks.
Absolutely ! They allowed me to say ANYTHING I wanted. Had full control over the video.
I have about 600 ohohu...2big sets + watercolor for son (72)... Brush nib is best for me, but 320 nib ohohu is briliaaaaan tooo...I hope they will last 5,6years without drying the alcohol...😊💓🌞... I can live without food but markers, color pencils...hm...crazy person😂😊🌞
Gr8 review video!!! Keep the videos n tips coming!!! Til next tyme...keep those cre8ive juices abrewing!!!
but ADC, you can get brush tips and replace the broad tip with them :P, its only 10$ for 8 tips xD, and they are reversible
It's great to see more options coming to the market!
And the exact marker I ordered
You slightly alluded to it in the video, but did they fix the cap color not matching the marker color at all with these? As someone just getting into alcohol markers and not wanting to spend a fortune, these look really appealing. What put me off of Ohuhu before was the cap vs actual color inaccuracies and having to hunt around a lot for the right color instead of picking up what should've been the right color per the cap.
Also, please start scanning and uploading/selling/let people download your line work for your cheap vs expensive stuff! I'd love to try my hand at some of those.
I found them to be highly accurate. Definitely seems to be an improvement over previous.
I will test that further and update in my next video.
@@ADCArtAttack Glad to hear it. They have been ordered! Can't believe I can get all 4 sets of these for less than $100 with the promos! I had just ordered a set of Arteza alcohol markers yesterday but I canceled that in favor of these!
Any additional sets/colors you think one might need in addition to the Kaalas?
@awg0681 I think they will serve you well. The entire range is very diverse. Any additions would really be down to a personal desire or necessity should you find a situation you need others.
Thank you so much for this I really needed this
UMM WOW !!!! I just love the brush marker on my ohuhu's so how do you actually blend without a brush tip ?? What you did with this picture is just brill!!
I hardly ever use the broad nib I guess I should start using them more
thanks for the recommendation.. i ordered some to try.. and thanks for the discount code.. i don't know how long they'll take to arrive but i'm very excited.. wondering if you know anything about the refills?? i couldn't find them selling those anywhere yet.. thanks 🤩
Would these work on a paint canvas 😱😱 I think that’ll be awesome with this style of art 😱
I've had ohuhu markers for years and the only thing I don't like about them is that you can't buy individual pens once they run out. They are incredible and are very cheap
Go to their site, they're available now :)
And I imagine the range is expanding too
if they are now refillable than that would help with that as well.
So how much overlap is there between the colors in the set (except the black)?
When you see it first I thought it was just the grip but man if you use it is quite useful
Yep. Me too. I didn't realise they had changed so much.
I dont think the inks different, but with these nibs it feels different. It settles way smoother !
Can i use ohuhu markers on regular paper???
Wish they sold them as singles as well as in packs.
I would assume that's something that'll come. I could ask, but, I'll give them a break from me haha
This is a very curious product=) Thank you for reviewing the set=3 Love the coloured pic=)
Love the vid.
Did you notice any pigment separation on the paper like the ohuhu did before?
2 years ago: These are the best markers ever!
Also 2 years ago: No, THESE are the best markers ever!
6 Months ago: Definitively, these are the best markers ever.
All caught up? Cool, now that I have your attention, THESE are the best markers ever!
Future ADC: Idk wtf he was talking about. THESE are the best markers ever!
Just did a search and they now sell brush nibs. I wonder if one of the nibs on these new markers can be replaced with a brush nib?
;) next video will answer
I just looked up the ohuhu markers and I know you said they’re cheap but….. £20 for a pack of 24 markers and £40 for a pack of 60?!?!? That’s amazing value
I’ve tried the pro marker Windsor newton markers in the past but I couldn’t get on with them, I’m not sure if it’s not my style or that I don’t have similar tones etc but I struggled… with how cheap these ohuhu are I’m tempted to buy a set that have more similar tones and have another go…. Gah, I have too many art mediums I want to try and not an awful lot of money/time or skills for it at the minute haha
amazing review!
im gonna try to pick these up as soon as i can
and could you review the taotree art markers? i would love to hear your opinion on them
lol I just picked up the 320 set of brush markers on super sale! And then they came out with these! If there was a brush version (there isn’t) I would have been so so upset!! I hope they come out with refills for the current brush markers… That’s the only thing wrong with them! Thank you for sharing!! Those chisel tips look wonderful, people really miss out on what they are capable of! But I still like brush for most things. 😂❤
It's always the timing!! Hahaha
@@ADCArtAttack Are the colors similar between sets? If they are then the refills should still work with what I have, though obviously not all of them, right? Thanks for responding!!🥰
I WANT OHUHU SO BAD BUT THEY DO NOT SHIP TO MY COUNTRYYY!!!
Do a marker giveaway on Instagram by choosing a winner from a drawing competition
Can you share the name of that coloring book? It looks awesome! Also great vid and congrats on the sponsor!
But in skintone section Ohuhu should provide marker nib! Bullet nib isn’t my thing 😔
loved the brushed markes, but im out of bareley peach!!!!!! maybe do you know a copic color code for that pparticular tone? ohuhu dont sell recharges, for now. Do you have any intell about this topic?
Does this chisel squeak on paper like the others.
How do you recieve markers from Ohuhu like you do I really need markers although I'm in an African country named Botswana. I really need them. Please get back to me if you can 🙏🙏
Anyone know how many duplicate colors are in these sets over the previous series
I love art
Where is your dog I haven't seen it for awhile

Are these the same colors as the Honolulu series?!
Alright, I bought some. 😊
You made a good choice !!
If they refillable does a who sell the ink?
Do they take long for shipping ?
Remarkable!😅
Love it! ❤
Do you use the promarker and the brush marker at the same time
Yes.
Depending on what I need doing. Base layers it's best to use a bullet, for even coverage
Jazzes brother be like
I've always wanted to get ohuhu markers 😍 But. They don't ship to my country 😭😞
Amazing
Loved the video! 💜 Are these new Ohuhu markers better then their current brush markers? I'm looking to get myself some Ohuhu markers and now I'm wondering which ones to get.
I dont think "better" is fair to say, but, they have better qualities in areas.
Both have their qualities. Casing will be a personal choice, broad nib and ink flow feels better in Kaala. Brush is obviously superior to all.
It's up to the user :)
@@ADCArtAttack thanks so much! I learn a lot from your content. You're inspiring.
When you can't get them bc were you live: :/
Change the color on top match the actual color yet?
Yep.
I have no details on that, but based on these new ones, I never tested a single marker before use. ALL were as accurate as you'd expect.
No marker will ever get it perfect (dye vs ink problem) but, they're now at the standard you expect!
@@ADCArtAttack well that’s good my last large set was totally incorrect between the cap and what came out on the paper. Another great video. Thanks for the reply
Hi 😊😅
Plz upload 😢 it’s been so long
link? i didnt see it
Oh great god soo many markers and all the good ones are very expensive these are cheap but… like just nah
