Why my sister Angela is my favorite: I’m trying to take my art more seriously and she just bought me the essentials that I feel comfortable using, prismacolors, ohuhus and the sketchbook, and that’s 69.29 for that, and since she has kids I babysit for her. So it is like a win-win for both of us, and I am very great full
Even if they don’t start selling refills, the least they can do is sell individual markers. That way if you run out of one of your favorites, you don’t have to buy another whole pack just for that one. I’ve noticed not a lot of brands do refills anyway, but some will at least sell individual markers (like my prisma brush markers) to make up for not having refills. But yes, Ohuhu being as popular as it is right now and also having good quality even though they’re cheap, should hop on the wagon and start selling them individually as well. ❤️ Off topic a little bit - but I do like how this set includes a lot of grey tones, my 48 prisma brush set didn’t give me ANY greys (very little skin tones also) and it was almost $90....
Kat Hughes I’m fairly sure that when you get a new pack (I have the 48 set), it comes with a small piece of paper along with the colour chart that claims you can notify them when a marker runs out and they send you a free, new pen. I haven’t tested this yet but I hope this helps.

going through customer service multiple times though could get stressful.. when you could just buy whatever ones you want. Also here’s a thought, some people would abuse that service and claim that they ‘ran out’ multiple times just to get free product(and thus them ending that service altogether). My point was just that they should start also selling their markers individually. It would be great if they did considering they don’t sell refills, and it makes up for not having refills. I get that there may be a replacement service but again like I said for some people that could be annoying and for others it would get abused.
I got the 72 set and I’m am so impressed with them! They are beautiful and are almost as amazing as Copics. I’m someone who loves good art supplies that come at a cheap price so these were a total score. I recommend them 10/10

Less than a dollar is soooi affordable when you compare it to it’s too competitor, copic, which can go up to 6 dollars a marker. And this is gonna last you awhile! Great investment if you’re broke. And also it’s 120 markers, that’s a whole lot. Especially considering these are brush colours.

What’s a good brand? I had to sneak a large knife back to my room once to chop up my eraser because it would stick together unless you chopped it. And if you try to mold it, it would end up crumbling.

When the cheapest marker is still expensive for you. Edit: I'm sorry guys I live in poverty 😭 Also, my dad retired from his work and my mom have really small income. What can I do about it? This phone is not bought but _given_ to me by my cousin. It's also a crappy ass phone tbh. my mum would allow because $99.99 divided by 120 is $0.83325. So, each marker is $0.8335 and in my country, that's equivalent to a really good black pen. But, the thing is, i'm still afraid to ask her. :‹

Yep, saw this on Amazon and immediately thought, “Wonder if Waffles is gonna get it. I’ll wait and see what she says.” The only sketchbook that stand up to alcohol markers is the Rendr, but I was hopeful for this one.
Rendr has been a wonderful surprise for me. I got a sample book once in a random art subscription box and haven't looked back. Being able to draw on both sides of the paper in confidence with my copics has been awesome

I recently bought two sets of ohuhu marks because of you, one big set then a small skin tone set using my birthday money, after hearing you talk about them a lot made me want to give them a go and I thought they would be a good start rather the copic markers. Even though I think copic makers are very cool, and I watch my artist friend use em a lot ohuhu sounded like a better option for me. Thank you for helping get a start on markers I’ve only used em a few times but they are very fun 😊 also I love your videos and personality. You’re so bubbly 🥰

I love my copics, but these seem a great alternative to make marker art too. I've tried Touch markers myself. Only had like 30 markers barely any skin colours 😂 but with practice they work very well too! Love that you have your own character for it. Seen her around a few times. ☺️

Could you do a video of you showing us what your main “go to’s” of markers that you use for most of your art? I would like to start using markers but don’t have enough money to buy a bunch. So I was wondering what kind of colors you would use that give you a decent range of color choices by layering or of that variation. Like what would you suggest for a beginner marker artist. I hope I’m making sense.
natnat_1357 I recommend a small pack of ohuhu markers. You could get a very small one in the original ones and a 48 is the smallest you could get in the brush markers. I have a 48 pack of ohuhu brush markers and I really enjoy the colors. They have a good range of colors, but as Rin said, there is not many pastels. But the original ones are a little bit cheaper.
natnat_1357 no problem. It’s not exactly what you asked for but, eh. You could also go to an art store and go to the section that you can handpicks markers. They do that in Michaels and hobby lobby.
The 48 pack of Ohuhu markers is a good amount and it also has a good variation in color. It’s not too many Ohuhu markers to where it’s ridiculous, but it’s also not too small of an amount to where there isn’t barely and color variation. The 48 pack is roughly $32 on Amazon, and some have coupons that could lessen the amount even more. Therefore, I recommend the 48 pack. 😂

I appreciate this very honest review. I too started w Ohuhus(I think it was the 2nd version 40 ohuhu bullet nib set) once I tried them and loved them, I used them till they were dry! Then I tried one of my friends copics(she bought 6 haha) and I LOVED the brush tip, whoa!! So i purchased the grey set and used THOSE till they dried up. Now I’m being VERY selective of the colors I will buy, colors I know I will use(kind of like what Rin was suggesting, whst few colors she needs to make Wheelz for example) and I’m rather happy with this! Only other recommendation I’d make is to try a promarker or 2, I never did; assumed they were poor quality but now I’ve seen some works that I would have been pretty happy w that quality.
I know this was a year ago but I LOVE how it turned out, also I love how her knee pads look like eggs, I find it unique and like it has a story? (idk lol) and her shirt how it looks a little splotchy, it looks like she colored on it herself and also brings a story to it. Love your art! And keep doing what you love ^^

Yep, saw this on Amazon and immediately thought, “Wonder if Waffles is gonna get it. I’ll wait and see what she says.” The only sketchbook that stand up to alcohol markers is the Rendr, but I was hopeful for this one.
Rendr has been a wonderful surprise for me. I got a sample book once in a random art subscription box and haven't looked back. Being able to draw on both sides of the paper in confidence with my copics has been awesome

I recently bought two sets of ohuhu marks because of you, one big set then a small skin tone set using my birthday money, after hearing you talk about them a lot made me want to give them a go and I thought they would be a good start rather the copic markers. Even though I think copic makers are very cool, and I watch my artist friend use em a lot ohuhu sounded like a better option for me. Thank you for helping get a start on markers I’ve only used em a few times but they are very fun 😊 also I love your videos and personality. You’re so bubbly 🥰

I love my copics, but these seem a great alternative to make marker art too. I've tried Touch markers myself. Only had like 30 markers barely any skin colours 😂 but with practice they work very well too! Love that you have your own character for it. Seen her around a few times. ☺️

Could you do a video of you showing us what your main “go to’s” of markers that you use for most of your art? I would like to start using markers but don’t have enough money to buy a bunch. So I was wondering what kind of colors you would use that give you a decent range of color choices by layering or of that variation. Like what would you suggest for a beginner marker artist. I hope I’m making sense.
natnat_1357 I recommend a small pack of ohuhu markers. You could get a very small one in the original ones and a 48 is the smallest you could get in the brush markers. I have a 48 pack of ohuhu brush markers and I really enjoy the colors. They have a good range of colors, but as Rin said, there is not many pastels. But the original ones are a little bit cheaper.

natnat_1357 no problem. It’s not exactly what you asked for but, eh. You could also go to an art store and go to the section that you can handpicks markers. They do that in Michaels and hobby lobby.
The 48 pack of Ohuhu markers is a good amount and it also has a good variation in color. It’s not too many Ohuhu markers to where it’s ridiculous, but it’s also not too small of an amount to where there isn’t barely and color variation. The 48 pack is roughly $32 on Amazon, and some have coupons that could lessen the amount even more. Therefore, I recommend the 48 pack. 😂

I appreciate this very honest review. I too started w Ohuhus(I think it was the 2nd version 40 ohuhu bullet nib set) once I tried them and loved them, I used them till they were dry! Then I tried one of my friends copics(she bought 6 haha) and I LOVED the brush tip, whoa!! So i purchased the grey set and used THOSE till they dried up. Now I’m being VERY selective of the colors I will buy, colors I know I will use(kind of like what Rin was suggesting, whst few colors she needs to make Wheelz for example) and I’m rather happy with this! Only other recommendation I’d make is to try a promarker or 2, I never did; assumed they were poor quality but now I’ve seen some works that I would have been pretty happy w that quality.

I know this was a year ago but I LOVE how it turned out, also I love how her knee pads look like eggs, I find it unique and like it has a story? (idk lol) and her shirt how it looks a little splotchy, it looks like she colored on it herself and also brings a story to it. Love your art! And keep doing what you love ^^
