They’re serving up some of the best Indian food in Los Angeles-all out of a gas station. Brother and sister Hiram and Priyanka grew up in California eating classic Indian cuisine. My kids never tried Indian food before. We are from West Africa and tend to have an aversion towards foreign food. But then one day we bought fresh samosas at an Indian shop in Germany. We've all been hooked ever since. Really delicious ingredients.

@Varun Chandra did you even read my statement correctly? Indians invented samosas but the arabs took this concept an created a dish called 'sambosa'. I am an indian living in the middle east and i can verify that this is a popular dish in the arab world too.
Which country in particular? Ghana? Cameroon? Liberia? Ivory Coast?
You should also try- pani puri, chaat, pav bhaji, chhole bhature.
They are all delicious Indian street foods.

Nuclear stealth bomber B2- spirit is what is wrong with world. Indian is not a race, but a bunch of races sharing a country. Station owner will be fair skinned for South India, dark skinned for extreme North/North East while perfectly average for a North Indian. Besides, there is nothing wrong with either of those skin color or hair.

Their vegan frankie is amazing but the paneer frankie is very good too. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. I’m there most Monday nights after class and get take out for lunch the next day or two.

Heh, our local Chevron has a BBQ ribs truck in the lot that was some of the best brisket this side of Texas. Then again, our little podunk town is undergoing gentrification, and everyone wants in on it. I'll pray to the Roach-Coach Gods you see similar action in your neck of the woods. ;)

Always ate Indian food as a buffet meal over the years. Love the innovation of how to facilitate business through other avenues
Yum! I wish the petrol stations where I lived did this. Unique concept that pays off because the food is just so damn good, and you already have guaranteed foot traffic. Might not be the typical place you find good quality Indian cuisine, but business is often about taking that gamble and seeing what works, and clearly this has ticked all the right boxes and is killing it.

There is actually a gas station in Apex, NC off 10/10 that has an Indian restaurant as part of it. When my son was in college, I used to drive by there all the time (it's really good - or was - I forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me, maybe go back and see).
