In the instructions it tells you about flipping those two switches weather it's a V8 or V6 engine and that's all I did and it was good
Stupid question but would I still have to use the speedo gear and cable thats attached to transmission tail for speedometer and mileage reading?
Wuz up bro, not a stupid question at all, we all here to learn but to answer your question you DON'T need the speedo cable. The speedo cable is replace with the chrome speedometer thats shown in the video

The Carolinas, Im not sure but all boxchevy dash cluster are made the same way (most of them) let me know how it turns out bro..
How do you set the rpm and speed ?
The rpm will be set depending on if it's a V8 or V6 it should be switch on the new cluster

What kind of wiring is needed for the battery volt gauge on the dash ?

Yeah I seen the wiring for the fuel,mph,and temp,and oil, but I didn’t see what kind of wiring was done done for the volts on the digital dash

Make sure that you are using the solid pink wire for the fuel and check all your fuses.
