The reason your resin stuck to the mold is likely the flame you used. I've never had to heat up a piece to remove from a mold but I don't use heat, just isopropyl alcohol

I put 4 drops of color directly into the resin and that's it (for each letter) and the smoke effect comes out perfect. I don't mix the color before putting it in the resin.Try it😊

I like the V most I also like that your mould is rounded and no sharp corners ( which I find a problem)😊
Thank you 😊 it's a different mold from the usual ones
whenever I do this kind of smoke fx i try to not just put the drops, but to take the colored resin and with a toothpick put the color as i move it, that ways is easier to control how much "smoke" you put into the clear resin. (just like you did on the uv one) Otherwise can be very tricky and i tend to put a lot more pigment than I wanted.

I have not tried doing smoke effect using other colorant. Its always been pigment paste

Did you spray mold release on the mold before you added resin? That may be why the resin stuck. I am looking forward to trying this.
