I've watched all these wavy videos and I'll be honest, I think all the models hair look terrible (especially the blonde woman) These Curlsmith educators have very curly hair and I don't believe know how to style waves. I have similar hair to the models and I use a brush to create more defined waves, keep the hair soaking wet and use a product with hold, usually a gel. Also the diffusing technique is not great - you should pixie diffuse all the way up and use something with more hold to encourage the wave! These videos have discouraged me from using the effortless waves product.

I agree, I don't think the wavy hair tutorials turn out looking nice either 🫤

Absolutely. This is exactly the opposite of what gives myself and my 5 sisters nice waves

I agree. They needed to define the curls after they added the product. I bet the model went home and did it again.

I agree! I noticed they apply the product to hair that is already towel dried and then handle the hair really roughly causing frizz. It’s like they have no clue what they’re doing. Why not add to wet hair like is usual for styling wavy and curly hair? There’s no way I could towel dry my wavy hair and then add product and expect good definition. I actually love this product but these tutorials and technique don’t do it justice.

I agree! It’s hard to watch these “professionals” mis-handle these poor women’s waves. First of all, use. 👏 More. 👏 Water! 👏 Ironically, that was their first point, then they proceeded to style that poor woman’s hair practically dry. Juicy curl clumps require lots of water! Also, they did her dirty with that tentative, gentle, barely-there diffusing. Scrunch those waves and pixie diffuse all the way to the roots! She’s beautiful, but these women with their tight, beautiful curls have no idea how to best showcase her waves.

I have the same hair as this blonde lady but my waves are stronger I’m thinking of maybe getting a long layer through my hair maybe it would make waves look better
