I’m currently doing this wire method for the first time, without the windshield suction. Using 140lb fishing wire (not line, but wire) from bass proshop; about halfway through, and have had 0 breaks in the wire. I did slice ~1/2cm of plastic trim in the beginning on accident… first time I’ve ever tried this so think I’m doing decently.
Well, it’s best to use a cutting blade (spatula) tool to cut the urethane at the bottom of the shield first, it allows less tension on the glass when stringing the sides and top, but that tool can be pricey. So, if you’re only using a string tool, I highly suggest not doing it while the shield is cold and also do not poke the string directly through the bottom corners. This will indeed increase the chances of the shield cracking the minute you start.
I have to give it a try in the middle! Congratulations on hitting 1,000 subs now it will take a few weeks before you get monetized as long as you have a total of 240,000 watched mins!
I don’t know anything about this. I just stumbled upon it & it’s pretty interesting. I was thinking “ man if that drill kicks that dash screen is gone” 😬😬😂😂
Man we have this at my shop and i hate it. The cup does not stick. No matter how much i clean, where i place it. Wire breaks constantly. The only time it works well is in small cars with undersided or no mouldings. If you get an older f350 with those stiff mouldings you cant get off. Forget about using this. Same with the python. Air knife and ambush is the fastest and works on all vehichles
1 position is going to break the orange bat and go through string faster, 400-600 dollars for a orange bat is not worth a little faster, but whatever dude it’s your tool
Safelite is terrible. If you mean the glass technicians that it. Shotty work and they normally don’t take pride in their work. I’m a glass technician at a mom and pop auto glass shop and Safelite is by far inferior.
@@shanelewis5451I used to work for safelite and went out on my own now and I agree they would sent guys out who were inexperienced and they would mess shit up all the time. I used them as a way to learn the trade and that’s it😂
Ezi wire is by far the best tool out there.
I agree!
would be nice if safelite didn't own it
not if you do a lot of quarter cutouts....

Could you be able to do a 2009 e350 econoline with this tool?
I really appreciate that last comment on your video, thank you man!
Shamil, what the same of the song 🎵 in de video
Would this take out a windscreen without cracking the glass, cause i need to swap the glass with 1 from another shell
That's the idea. The greatest risk to the glass is probably when you're poking the cord through initially.

How well does starting from the center work in the winter time with below freezing temps? Which line is the best to use with this tool? Thanks.

For real, it was hard to watch him ruining his bat lol
Hello!I bought a wrd orange bat after seeing this video.I want to buy a drill for it.How powerful does it need to be?Thanks Horațiu from Romania.
I use regular 12 volt drill
Use more than a 12v...you see how his bat is just sliding all over the place. All the torque is going into the tool instead of the drill
Muy bueno
Good job I like it
No clips is always nice too
This tool is so overpriced. I'll just keep using what I've been using.
Safelite is better

Can you let me know the tool you think it is more cost effective tool?
It is rather expensive ..
Is it night and day better than wrd original spyder? Also what’s the best fiber line You’ve used ?
