    Thanks Alfredo for giving close up on using multi tool to start the cut out process on windsheild, first video I've seen. Most other videos already have that part done and just cut out the bottom of windsheild. Thanks again.

      I am wondering if this will scratch a windshield I am removing from a wreck to reuse an also why he did not use the 1'' blade on the sides and top in the first place. Did he have a reason for using a shorter blade first? If you know I would appreciate your advice. Thanks, Phillip Hall

    Where did you get that multitool blade for it? I bet you can do it with just regular mutlitool blade. The regular blades are very flexable.
    The good thing with these blades is it also gets the goop warm as it cuts it.

It’s a good basic demo, but I’m not seeing any more detail than i would be if i were a guy standing in the doorway watching.. i like seeing the close up details i would see if i were doing this myself. I cant see what YOUR looking at or for. Oh - and please switch to all Milwaukee tools for my viewing pleasure :)

    • @kctyphoon
      @kctyphoon 4 роки тому +1

      There is only one model in each battery platform. One in the m18, and one in the m12.. its easily identified by the size of the batteries. The one he’s using for the majority of the work is the M12 model. The second one he grabs is the M18 model. The M18 is the one with the bigger battery and deeper tone. The Sawzall is Dewalt. The compact blower is Milwaukee’s too.

    • @someguy9471
      @someguy9471 2 місяці тому

      @@PhillipHall01No it won’t scratch the windshield, and I’m guessing he used the shorter blade first because he thought it would get it all but obviously it didn’t. I agree the one inch would’ve been better but technically it is safer to start off with a smaller blade because sometimes if you start off with a bigger blade it doesn’t like to cut out as easily you could run into a situation where you start off with a bigger blade and all it does is break and chew up the glass as opposed to cutting it out because you didn’t do a relief cut with a smaller blade in the first place. But again I usually don’t run into that with the oscillating tool it’s more likely to happen if you use a larger blade on a cold knife

    You clearly know what you’re doing and it’s a good video but it’d be even better if you slowed down a bit. Take a bit more time to show the details and give the camera some time to show what you’re talking about. It’s as if you’re trying to do this as fast as you can, so much so that you mix up words because you’re trying to work and talk so fast. I get in the industry you want to be as fast as possible but this is an instructional video.
