- Whoever said that you need 10,000 hours to become great at something was lying. Here's why.
My hit podcast (it sounds like a movie): sisanf.com/podcast
This video is based on the book Peak by Anders Ericsson and Robert Pool: amzn.to/4cumd2d
My other projects, including all the music in this video: sisanf.com

Thank you for showing up on my fyp man, really made me think more about this topic
Thanks for watching!
Great video. Stumbled on this and it seems very helpful. Thank you.
Thank for stopping by 🙏🏾
I read peak. And learnt the same thing, you put this together really well. Keeping deliberately practicing youtube videos and you will become great!
Thanks man! It’s a fantastic book
Fantastic video. Thank you for this
No problem! Thanks for stopping by!
Damn, the Universe really speaking to me to put this video on my algorithm!! I've been procrastinating/getting stuck on my own goals because I've been too much in my head about my current skillset, the level of quality I can produce, and how to start on some of my more ambitious ideas.
But this has been a great motivator and reminder to just Start!! The fact that you have like 100 subscribers and yet been recommended to me is a double whammy too! Granted, your level of production is probably a big point in your corner, but I see that you learned that from your prior podcast too! Great stuff!!
Super excited to see you're come up after this. I'm not a fan of mystery thriller podcasts, but I gotta check it out now anyways!
Appreciate the love Elijah!! Good luck on your own path 🙏🏾
i actually love this. thank you so much!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching 🙏🏾
Great video!
Thanks!
I just switch to something else when I start stagnating, but what I really want is for someone to pick up where I left off. Combine what I’m doing with what the experts are doing. I minmaxxed for originality, so I have no attention span for others.
Yes. What I do to constantly get better at stuff is review/practice the basics after hitting a plateau. I tend to find a different path, mindset, or even technique that helps me in my more advanced endeavors for the hobby.
Yes! Another key to mastery is executing extremely well on the few main principles of the craft
@@sisanfregene Yessirr, looking forward to more uploads! I Love this sort of content.
Great video, but I think that gym example isn't really good, getting stronger is really about slowly lifting different (heavier) weights :P
Great point!
Ima draw soon
Thanks?
No problem!
Nice
Thanks!
