Why do you charge your car to 100%? Doesn't regular charging to 100% lead to increased degradation of lithium-ion cells? If you are engaged in generating electricity from solar panels, then you should probably know how systematic charging to 100% affects the capacity of li-ion batteries.
You should only charge to 80% it will give you regen braking right away which is more free energy. Plus instead of 10-15years of battery life you'll get 20-25 years (if that even matters to you). Love the 37's thanks for posting.
@@RockyRohde thanks for clarifying and great idea! Love your whole setup with the solar, working my way towards the same goal, camper has all solar and it's so nice. Hummer next summer. Hope you share more vids!
False the regen works same efficiency with/without using one pedal. And in normal mode when using the brakes it uses regen to slow down without wearing brake pads. Some even claim coasting gives more energy with it turned off.
@@Sickflow1 in the manually it literally states do not tow at 100% if going through hilly or mountainous because there will not be enough braking. Where are you going to put all that energy if the battery is full? And just like fast charging slows down after 80% because you will have less regen braking power above 80% because the battery can't accept such a high charge rate. As for coasting this is correct, it is slightly more efficient. This is why Porsche does not allow one pedal driving and regen only activates from the brake pedal.
Thanks for the review! Love the solar array you have. We have solar and take the credit as it works out to be more than if we actually sold back and got a check. We only have 20 panels, but the system is paid for, runs the house, pool etc. Can't complain. Happy Thanksgiving!
I have the same vehicle in the same color General Motors recommends that you not charge to 100% every day you will ruin the battery if you do road tripping it’s OK but not for every day use you need to rethink how you charge your car
I have a cr spotless filter at the house and foam cannon.. I usually wash my vehicles at dusk and use spot free water.. Pull in garage and the next day it’s clean
Hi Rocky, not looking for an exact number, but I have had 4 BMW X5 X-Drive and I leased them for under $900 a month. I am thinking about a Hummer lease for about $1,200 a month. Am I close? Thanks in advance Sir. 😎🇺🇸🇮🇱👍
I'm bloody rich so I decided to downgrade my mobility by buying an energy guzzler with limited range so I could save money on petrol... Those are impressive survival instincts. Obviously a Kamala supporter.
I daily drive a Denali Duramax and own multiple diesel vehicles... My electricity cost me .09 cents per KW... So if I am pulling on my house power it cost me less than 20 dollars to fill up a 9500 pound SUV for a range of over 300 Miles.. Since I have a large Solar 18KW It cost me ZERO to charge the Hummer to travel 300 miles.. I also leased the vehicle so I have zero worries and turn it in in two years... You should check out my channel before making accusations....

What a fascinating and impressive vehicle 🇺🇸⚡💪
Thanks!
Your house/cars/setup is my goals. Hummer is pretty cool too
Thanks, appreciate it!

I usually do 80% of charge. Just wanted to do 100% so it didn’t confuse peeps. Thanks for watching!

@RockyRohde That's the way to do it! Thank you
Looks great!
Wanting to run 38s
Think there’s enough room to squeeze a 38 on the spare without it hitting the rear bumper?
That’s going to be tight
@@RockyRohde will update you ended up ordering 38s
Thank you
Does it have a noisy cabin ? A lot of noise while driving or was window open?
It has a little more road noise than a Yukon but it is not bad..

Nice truck but how do u wash the truck thanks?

@ nice so u don’t have to go to a regular car wash because u don’t it yourself
What psi for 37’s?
I think I’m running 52
Is it bulletproof like the Tesla truck and also how much does it go for?
One more question, since it’s electric does it make car insurance cheaper?
Welcome Baghdad 🫰🇮🇶❤

You can get 2x lease for 800-900 per month on 10k mile year lease.. your 1200 number is really close on a 3x if you can work price down with dealer.
@ Thanks Sir! I am a New Sub for you. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Have a great day. Rich.
