As a vision impaired crafter I love to have a go at things but have avoided candlemaking because of the melting process but I’m loving your system and especially that it beeps to tell you exactly what to do next. Thank you very much for sharing this video new subscriber from Queensland XX
You have just made my day @pamelabrown3489 so lovely to have you at my channel & I hope that my videos have helped you on your journey to candle creation 💕
I always wondered what this candle making set up was and if it was any good. I always use wooden wicks I love them much better than cotton wicks. I would love to learn how to do the choc ice-cream scoops on your Sundae candle. So many beautiful candles from another Aussie candle maker. I have some of those special holey wicks as well but I'm yet to test them yet. Thankyou for sharing
Hi Tanya! So nice to hear from another candle maker. The wooden holey wicks look amazing. I will say they don’t burn as well as the normal ones they seem to be a slow low burn but I have only tested 2 of them so far. The ice cream is very time consuming but well worth it in the end. So lovely to meet you & thank you for visiting 💕
@@CLDUA ps I may have just purchased my 3rd melting pot. A Chandler and Me thank you hahahaha but this one seams all auto no guessing. Yes I LOVE scent method. had (like you ) a little problem with wax, they gave me the wrong one. so they ended up giving me the right one 5 kg for free. I am super impressed with how fast they do deliveries to me in Newcastle . Although I do work in Sydney 5 mins away from them easy collection as well . pricing is good on wax I love the soy firm. I can use in silicon moulds .its white white as well cheers Linda
What are those strip wicks called. They look cardboardish. Are they prewaxed. What are they made of? And here in India i do not get soy wax 464. So when i use paraffin and soy wax at 1:1 ratio my molten wax starts hardening even before i am able to pour it into any of the container or mold. What should i do? Can i make hundred percent soywax candles when it comes to container candles. And what shd i use for molds. Can u pls guide. Are stearic acid and vybar acid necessary?
Hi, the wicks are made of wood & they are not pre waxed so you need to coat the wick completely. I have not used paraffin wax so I am unable to help you there. You can use 464 on its own in a container yes. I hope this helps & good luck creating
❤ I love this video, thanks ... however , I held a container with hot wax in my hand, and the glass cracked and burned my whole hand 😢 It's recommended to let the containers stand on a flat safe surface. But all over this video gave me good ideas ❤
Oh dear yes you are quite right. When you do the marbling you want it cooled but still able to move so it sticks to the side. If it is too hot it won’t stick & the colour will mix in too much. Thank you for watching & I hope your hand heals quickly
