    Great video on how to clean the Enagic machine! To keep the cleaning cartridge mold free after use, I take the cap off and put the cartridge in a small bowl and pour some white vinegar it. Let it set for a few minutes or longer, pour out vinegar out of the cartridge and bowl, set the cartridge on it's side in the bowl to let it finish dripping out, then I put the cartridge away with the removed.

    Crapafornia is an arid state and water conservation is urged and practiced here. Can the 3 2 5 minute running time water be reclaimed and used on outside plants and if so which plants would benefit and which ones would not?

    After I clean my machine I still have s lot of like white stuff coming out from the hoses. The one for drinking and the disposable one. Even though I turn on the beauty water to flush for more than 30 minutes, still alot of the white stuff or coming out

      Those are just calcium. They are ok. Elder folks go to Costco to buy calcium pills for their supplements. Meanwhile we get our calcium from the water.

    How does this compare to what is recommended - sending the machine back to Enagic for a through cleaning. I have had mine 7 yrs and never sent it back in - could that be a problem?

    • @classad98
      @classad98 10 років тому +2

      to answer your question, if you have hard water you'd see a reduction in flow and need to send it in for a deep cleaning more often, like once every year or two. However, if you're getting good purple ph test and nice hydrogen bubbles, good negative ORP still... you're all set. running beauty water for a few minutes per day is a good thing as well.

    • @alexcordebard
      @alexcordebard  8 років тому +1

      Yes I would recommend sending it in for a deep cleaning every 2 years or so to keep it running smoothly. It's like an oil change in a car. It's always best. This kind of cleaning is done every month to keep it running good but deep cleaning will make sure that it's staying good

    One really cheep way to make your own water distiller is to use your old pressure cooker and use 90 degree pipe adaptor one end into top by removing original stem that holds the wobbly weight. The other end of the 90 degree is for copper tubing fitted with a locking collar. Slide nut on end of copper tube and then slide a ring crimping part on to the 90 degree copper pipe. A long enough copper pipe (keep in a roll) and as you unroll length from top of pressure cooker, bend tube to base of cooker about 6 inches from diameter of cooker. Now the still unrolled copper to loop 3 to 6 times or more so bottom of coil will sit in a baking dish (fill with normal water, you do not need to use ice water). As most of coil will still be in the air, the view of coil should look like a coin standing on end. This should be assembled with the CRIMPING end loose and use a wrench to LIGHTLY tighten so it does not leak. The end of copper tube can be bent to a large glass water cooler. The wrench will remove copper tube to add water to cooker. I would fill about HALF full. Set to a light boil as a fast boil may just SPUTTER a flow of IMPURE water. Bring the cooker stem to the hardware store to get the right, right angle pipe adapter to fit cooker to copper tube. As it is a STILL, home might use this to steam edible plants for home cures or just fun drinks. Alfred Janiten 20360 Meridian rd. Grosse Ile, Michigan. 48138. • @timmanoloel5574
      @timmanoloel5574 4 роки тому

      I work with alex it's not made of plastic , its has 7 titanium plates on inside , no chemicals to change the ph , done by electrolysis , it's the best investment

    Btw, you're cleaning the bucket not the machine. The machine only has 1' of hosing inside. The electrolysis chamber only has a channel between the plates of about half as thin as a penny, which holds a few ounces, tops. The idea of dissolving the citric acid throughout "the whole machine" is incorrect logic. The machine is mainly comprised of electrical components, not water.
    You should only be using a really narrow glass/beaker and you only want just enough water to come out to cover the heads of the hoses to prevent back-flow.
    You'll notice the very first drop of water that comes out of the machine is highly concentrated.
    You'll notice the water after 1-liter has little to no concentration of citric acid. Taste it, test it, and change your method.
    Try it and see the difference. It'll be night and day.

    Pouring the powder in to the cleaning cartridge might be easier when you sit the cartridge on its lid.
