Tent Camping at Sycamore Springs - Hidden Gem

- The rain forecast doesn't look good as the Kleeman Krew head to Sycamore Springs Campground for a two day camping trip. We water proof our tent so let's see if the rain holds out! We explore the many types of playgrounds, hike some unique trails(including a spiral staircase!), and check out the ole swimmin hole. This privately owned campground is very FAMILY friendly.
Love camping. Thanks for sharing your family with us. Tent camping is better than sleeping in a car. Car better than nothing.

I was actually in Sycamore one Sunday afternoon back in 1963. A friend was dating an "English, IN" girl who was also attending Indiana State U.
Crawfish are a staple here in Louisiana, but seldom is our water clear enough to catch by sight. We use bacon or salt meat tied to string to pull them up.
It’s all about the memories.
Walking Tacos is one of our favorite camping meals also.
It’s so easy!

Looks like a lovely place to camp. Has the Captain gone to get ideas for more holiday lets. What is the noise in the background all the time and NO it's not the children! May only be 2 nights but such a lovely break from daily life.

Great idea for a train themed cabin. A caboose would make a great cabin and a train horn could compete with the boat horn. 😉

When my kids were younger, that's all we did was tent camp. We loved it and they still enjoy going. I don't do as well as I once did (bad hips) but I think it is the only way to camp! Thanks for sharing. Whitewater state park was our spot. Liberty, Indiana.
Save your dryer lint and add it to your cardboard egg carton before pouring the wax into it.

Awesome place. This video makes my heart happy. Great family, bunch of happy faces. Would've like to seen captain swing on the rope and plunge in the creek 😆🤣 we use to catch the crawdads and make them fight, I know not good for the girls but we had a blast. Stay blessed Kleeman family.

The playgrounds I played on when I was a kid consisted of swimming holes filled with primordial slime and young Sequoia trees to climb. We also had to keep a close eye out for dinosaurs and pterodactyls. Yes, I'm that old. Lol. I hope y'all have a blessed and safe weekend.
