Magnificent catches of the steam locomotive Union Pacific 4014 Big Boy coming by and pass. I like it 5 stars. Hearing that amazing puffing and chufing sound and cars is absolutely crazy. Thumbs up. Keep up the perfect work out there, my friend, i just liked and subscribed your channel, Greetings from Portugal to the USA.
Big Boy sure has a big sound too. They say in the old days that the engineers use to communicate with other trains using different tones or like Morse code. I do not know, but some of them really sound cool. I loved that river scene about mid way through the video made me wish I could go swimming! Gosh your video's make me feel young again. Thanks man, have a cool day.
Hey Bobby, great to hear from you again. The train whistle does have code to it. They still use some of it in modern railroading. Glad these videos stir up good vibes. That is for watching!
There had been an issue with a tree that fell on the tracks that day and the train was 4 hours delayed arriving in Colfax. It was supposed to stop there and the town of Colfax had big plans. To make up time from the tree incident, they had to canceled the planned stop. It was a long day, but I actually prefer the rolling footage. Thanks for watching.
The 4014 is such a work of art! ❤
