2007 CUMMINS ISX TURBO NOISE

2007 INTNL 9200i. I swapped another unit from a "sister" truck and it makes the same screech noise AFTER about 600 RPM when the actuator is down. Changed the exhaust manifold and turbo mounting gaskets already and it screeches only when the actuator turns. ANY IDEAS???

Hard video to find. It's like no one else has this problem. I thought it was the actuator going bad.

My truck had the same noise.. I thought it was the turbo but it turned out to be a broken bolt on the turbo exhaust manifold .. a little exhaust leak was making that noise.. this job is a little costly because of the man hours.. with gaskets and labor price was $1100 ..

Porq se escucha así cuando se acelera a fondo cuando va cargado porq el motor que tengo ya se eliminó el egr pero siempre trabaja la válvula

What was the problem? Mine has the same noise

EXHAUST MANIFOLD LEAK at #6. Had to access it from the inside cover. The manifold is in 2 pieces with the #6 port attached with a doughnut gasket (to the main section of the manifold) and the normal 2 bolts on the head. One of the bolts broke, and the increased back pressure caused by the turbo actuator resulted in the whistling.

#6 exhaust manifold section (it's separate) had a broken bolt.

Same problem with my prostar 2015 it has a broken manifold bolt cummins isx dont get panic its not the turbo its just a bolt

Era el empaque del manifold de escape. El #6 tenia un tornillo quebrado.
