Brought back some memories. I drove this road around 1997 in the winter in a rented 2nd Toyota Starlet. Not the optimal vehicle for that mission! Hardly any snow and fine weather, otherwise it would have been a bit dodgy. Can’t believe the other traffic you guys had. I didn’t see a soul - maybe a few sheep. NZ is such a beautiful place!
Hey Kelvin how ya going, Na mate, I'll be working my way down through Nelson Lakes to the West Coast. I haven't finished working out where from there yet but I know I will be riding across from Kurow in my own time the same as we did this year during February Dusty Butt.
