That is a sudden increase in production value! Great rig suggestion, great footage. Thank you for your innovative thought, this is incredibly important for us
thank you! Thanks to your method, my back doesn't hurt anymore. It's lighter and easier to put on and take off. We also fixed an issue with the pivot axis shaking. Thank you so much for sharing such a great way. Liked and subscribed. :)
Hello, I’m from Taiwan. It’s a great remodel. Before I saw your video, I would rather continue to use the vest. Now I will remodel my float in the future.
Fantastic. Thanks Voho Mat!! Looks like a couple other things are needed, like those 2 way carabiners. And would be good to see how you modded the shoulder harness. Also, which length belt. The link you put in the description is for the 30-35" (smallest). Thanks!!
Hey bro you honestly can use any two-way carabiners I just happen to have some old ones laying around so I didn't have a link. As of harness there's not much to it you just hook it up to your belt and run the rods through it and you good to go
Thank you! I have found that the tactical belt seems like it doesn't do anything for me. Is this intended mostly as a safety in case the velcro gets undone?
Wow this is amazing!!! Do all those plates come with the vest? I just ordered the dual handle tilta float and it comes in a couple of days! This is so helpful since I mainly got it to help with support since my back hurts from holding the gimbal for long periods of time
This is really old video I've changed a lot of it since. Most of it comes with it but what I do now I just purchased an extra long menfrotto plate and combine them all with a harness
Hey mate! Loving your channel ❤️ I’ve just picked up a dual handle float and am keen to hear how you’ve updated your way of modding the belt and tilta chest harness / what parts. Thanks heaps and keep these genius rig mods coming!
You forgot to mention getting spring hooks and showing how you put them on the vest. Also long long 1/4” screws, the ones you put a link for or not long enough. Without those things this setup doesn’t work. Two sets of 2x SMALLRIG 15mm Railblock Rod Clamps. I understand you don’t normally post how two videos and this one seems like you were testing out a new lighting setup, I just wished I knew what I know now. There were steps you skipped “mainly the spring hooks” that gave me hell when I attempted to do this for my float.
hey, buddy sorry you had problems. so the S-hooks are kind of optional because the float belt already has them in a triangle shape. about the long screws, I just add more screws option to the list, hope it works.
@@camerariggingmods9667 thank you for the extra tips. I meant to thank you for posting the video. Yes, I had some bumps in the road when trying to follow the video, but at least to posted a fantastic jump off point to help solve a major problem with the Tilta Float.
Re rod length, how tall are you and do you find 18" rods are just right or could be longer or shorter for your height? Also, do find the rods take a lot of load? Any reason to think aluminum is better for these? Thanks and keep up the good work!
Hello, where can I purchase the plate you pick up at 0.11 seconds in the video? I don't believe its listed in the description. This is my last missing piece lol
