@ELIOT BECKER That is not the point of accessibility. It is blatant discrimination to allow some users to access information and not others. Whether I show the film in my classroom or not, any deaf individual is unable to understand the material at the same level that hearing individuals have the privilege to do so. Additionally....read the comments. Captions are for everyone, not just deaf people. They benefit students, and allow us to learn and watch material without polluting others' auditory environments.
@ELIOT BECKER I understand that you don't care, but I do. So please stop commenting your two cents about something you don't care about and move on to things you do.
At my school they teach taxes to the high schoolers and every year they complain about it being boring, despite this I hear my classmates say we need to be teaching taxes in school.
I'm watching a show called Hawkeye on a streaming service right now about this conflict. It's more of a side story than the main one, but this 3 minute clip shown me history is steeped with so many fascinating stories.
From Pittsburgh area and I as well as I'm sure alot of others weren't ever informed of even half of this content lol is cool to actually learn the real backgrounds and inspiration for names of areas affiliated and influenced by this
1:10 if i understood it correctly and if my memory is correct, i don't believe that "executing a man in the back who came to apply a peace treaty" is what we could call a battle.
Honestly, I don't know anything about history but I'm bound to watch this for my GED. Can someone please tell me which theory is correct, the British against the French or is it the Indo's (i.e. the migrated asians and Africans) against the French? According to my teacher it's the second part but we were told to write a summary on it and I'm so confused now.😫
The use of the word Indians here refers to all native indigenous people in America. The name was given to them by Columbus because he was searching for the continent of India. He missed but the name stuck and the indigenous peoples of America were all grouped under that name
If I remember right.... Hey, It's possible. Benedict Arnold ( before being a Traitor ) lead a Force through Maine to Quebec. During Winter, and A fierce storm. One woman had to leave her dead, or dying Husband by a tree and kept going. Some of my Ancesters were in Haverhill, Mass. when it was attacked. They Garrisoned at The Haynes House.
"Native american vs confused siberians aka europeans" First of all we are not indians we are NATIVE AMERICANS get it RIGHT IMMIGRANT IM FULL BLOOD APACHE AZTEC CREE KICKAPOO AND PUREPECHA 100% NATIVE AMERICAN THERE ARE CREES AND NATIVES IN FRANCE DOES THAT MAKE FRANCE NATIVE AMERICAN NOW LOL YOU GUYS ARE CONFUSING FOLKS
First you must know than genetic proves that 100% of something is rare, and impossible in the majority of the planet today. But this is not the point. The native "blood" in France is not possible because France is not a country made up of a single ethnic group at the base. Since prehistory, several layers of populations have successively taken over Western Europe, adding a new layer to the previous ones. Moreover, from a cultural and linguistic point of view, there are (or were) several languages in France, and some very distant from French and others from cousin languages. Basque, Breton, Alsatian, Flemish, Corsican, Occitan, Catalan. I myself am Breton and my grandparents had a Celtic language as their mother tongue.
Kate they made what the colonists did sound like it was ok and all fine. They made it sound as if they weren’t stealing land and murdering those who lived there before.
If you were transported to those times, to the center of the current United States, and talked to the Natives, the French and the mestizos that could be found in these territories, you would probably be very surprised by their vision of things. The Natives weren't that naive. Local nations clashed for centuries and some committed genocide. The tribal chiefs were strategists and knew their interests. A "modern" vision based on these eras is not always devoid of ideology and does not bring the truth closer either.
Please name the guy for the first general born in Quebec. Pierre Le Moyne d'Iberville... his team was 50%natives and 50% born French Canadian. It's him who destroyed the anglo-saxon camp across the Mississippi. He dreamed to created a new race for his army. French Canadian-native...
why do you think that most Indian tribes immediately sided with the French side though. Of all Europeans conquerors, the French side was by far the friendliest towards the locals. No one's saying it was perfect, but records show a massive difference.
At the beginning french were allowed by the king to trade furs with the natives but were not allowed to settle on their lands. It was not a colony. It was not the same policy that american or british. The amerindians were celebrated in France with respect. That's the difference. French arrogance ? Only one. The right to say no to anglosaxons. When Louisiana was sold to Usa some people had some problems to understand the differences about slavery code, melanin ratio and social status. The whole world is not american with old english culture. Because Europe is not one culture.
What indians doing there and how they go there Because of UK🇬🇧 ? Ok many 🇮🇳Indian people don't know about Indiana State of USA please explain it Or I'm hiting a random stuff 😅

Most of the native tribes were allied with the French. Only the Iroquois fought with the British because the French helped the Hurons to fight them.
