Except for the fact that like most videos that chronicle the history of America, it forgets to mentions that 99% of the reason the Founding Fathers wanted a revolution so badly was because they were the ones most being effected by the taxes and the people who supported the Monarchy had already been so deeply effected by it that it didn’t matter if anything changed, they knew fundamentally their lives wouldn’t be that much different under the new regime....
Fun fact, Paul Revere didn't actually scream throughout his journey, "The British Are Coming!" because the people in the Thirteen Colonies at the time were literally British, so he said "Regulars Are Coming" and instead of screaming it was much discreet.
FYI, Everyone was British at the time. They would have cried out that the "Red Coats" were coming, because yelling out that the "British were coming" would have cause confusion.

This is how I think history education should be, I'm serious. Just enough information for almost any person, unless you're really interested or you plan to become a historian. Without diving too deep into details and specific dates, just gives you the overall idea of what happened. This is how it needs to be.

Fun fact: When Howe was besieging New York he was actually pretty sympathetic to the American side and tried to write Washington letters asking him lay down his arms but washington refused to read the first letter because Howe addressed the letter George Washington instead of General Washington. So Howe starts writing letters adding on these faux titles (such as Esquire) to the letters but Washington never looks at any of them because they are not addressed to General Washington.
