    This video right here. I have wanted to like playing Naoto a little more, but some of his combos do seem pretty tough. This video has truly taught me that buffering is the real deal with this character and it is useful to do. Thank you for this video Jaycent. You are great

      I appreciate the love! I honestly made this video for my friends who had an interest in Naoto and wanted to know how to do his combos. I never expected so many people to see this let alone help them

    For the enhanced DP you mention you can do 632632 on wakeup, but is it still a reversal that way; wouldn't you have to actually be dashing(and vulnerable) for one frame

    His mixrodashes seem impossible at first and they are very much impossible. I really want to play him but I can’t even get his basic dash cancel stuff let alone this black magic level inputs. Any more over wall tips for the rest of the dash cancels

      thats for combo and thats what i did during the 3C 214A enDP. For wake up you can just do 632632D since you aren't able to dash while knocked down

      @@jaycentVT Same goes for me. How long does it takes to learn his combos and being able to pull them consistently ?

    • @jaycentVT
      @jaycentVT  Рік тому +1

      @@dylanlerian5960 Honestly it all depends on how much you're willing to practice and how much time you have
      As a beginner I recommend learning 4 combos to start off of
      1 midscreen bnb as your go to
      1 corner combo
      1 combo off of a grab
      1 combo that uses your meter as your big dmg combo
      then from there you can add on more combos once you become comfortable such as an overhead combo, air grab combo, overdrive, etc.
      Its all just building up your muscle memory as thats what is truly needed to play this character.
      You don't have to go for the more optimal stuff at first just start off with basic combos to get used to dash canceling then build upon them once you get comfortable

    Any tips for buffering supers after enhanced rekka with the B version?

    • @jaycentVT
      @jaycentVT  3 роки тому +3

      honestly other than a generic "input the super after the dash" what I do is 236B (final rekka hit) - 66 (dash cancel) - 32146D/B (super)

  • @ryangolden5865
    @ryangolden5865 Рік тому

    I don’t get it’s I understand the buffer. But like something just doesn’t not compute. The timing of the dash to input needs to be near instant which is fucking awful. Do you have any tips for that end because that’s what’s throwing me off. Even in simpler shirt it’s like a micro second too slow and it’s pissing me off

    • @jaycentVT
      @jaycentVT  Рік тому +1

      Honestly other than timing and muscle memory its just practice. There's really no way around that. As for what's throwing you off there's really a multitude of reasons why. If you input too fast the game doesn't register your input (because you're still in recovery), if you input it too slow then it would be too slow

    I’m still really confused. So I get the buffer part but my issue is that going from that to 66 236b is tough. It comes out enhanced but too slow what’s the timing of the other inputs after 214A. I really like him but I just can’t do these inputs I’ve gotten it off once successfully but idk how. I’m guessing you need to do 214a412366 b?

    • @jaycentVT
      @jaycentVT  3 роки тому +4

      his gameplan is pretty straightforward and basic once you get him down. It's just the initial barrier on getting his stuff consistent is just a bit difficult. Still a technically challenging/demanding character imo but not impossible as some people may think
