How to be a Naoto Main
Переглядів 13 тис.2 роки тому
So I watched the Naoto guide that Jiyuna made and honestly he had me beat haha. It is true that you don't need to do the fancy combos as Naoto to play him for fun, BUT STYLE MATTERS MORE THAN WINNING! So this is more of a template for you guys to get inspiration on how his combo routes can look like. Make your own combos that works for you! Or just steal these haha
How to Make Naoto Kurogane Even Easier
Переглядів 16 тис.2 роки тому
Alright so for those that don't know how to micro dash here's a showcase on how to do it as well as some of the uses Naoto has with them. Honestly micro dashing isn't really that easy at first. Since it's all down to muscle memory but once you have it trained then it becomes second nature

How To Get Better at Blazblue Centralfiction : Defensive Options
Переглядів 8 тис.2 роки тому
So you wanna git gud? Heres some basic defensive options you can use to level up your play! Honestly this game is just riddled with different mechanics and depth. This video only scratches the surface but I personally believe defense is the best place to start for improvement! Twitch: www.twitch.tv/jaycentvt Twitter: JaycentVt
How To Make Naoto Easier
Переглядів 14 тис.3 роки тому
A quick little showcase on how to make this character a bit easier to manage. Don't get me wrong he's still a lot of work and effort and is insanely difficult even with these shortcuts but he's more manageable now. Twitch: www.twitch.tv/jaycentvt Twitter: JaycentVt
Ya know when I first saw this video I couldn't do any of this, but now I'm stunting on my friends. You love to see it
Thank you 😊
As someone who intends to learn how to play EVERY character in this game and as stylishly as possible, this is helpful
Thank you for this helpful video and it also highlights how fighting games like street fighter and tekken can/could have incorporated defensive abilities to improve their games (not that they aren’t good games, I play SF6 as well but not tekken)
I’m still lost since blazblue is my first fighting game and this notation stuff is weird to me. But it helped a little, thank you
Easier for gameplay, not my carpel tunnels.
Dudes, who can explain me how to do dash versions of specials in combo?
I lowkey thought everyone was over reacting when they said this guide or really this “tip” was unhelpful and doesn’t explain anything, but god it actually doesn’t. Like you just told them something that would learn in challenge mode by themselves or them doing 5 secs of research. You just explain literally nothing and proceed to flex combos on us With that being said, those combos was sick as hell
Can't believe sajam lied to me
Thank you for giving me new options for eviscerating my left wrist.
I have a very bad habit of teching back and now knowing that it only has a 10 frames worth of invincibility explains a lot lol
The ability to dash cancel out of 214a opened my eyes, thank you.
Very helpful, thanks for the info
any tips to get the rekka to come out right after i dash cancel? Just got BBCF today and i wanna become good and Naoto so bad :(. sadly this feels impossible rn.
Do people usually go for the 214A dash or hold D dash in strings/combos. I get the micro dash but I’m talking about straight hits into block strings or combos.
How to main Naoto: Step 1. Sacrifice your hands. Step 2. Repeat Step 1.
as always the answer is corner throw into 236b rekka 5 times then 623d ender followed by "i'm nice :)"
This was the most helpful unhelpful guide. Like idk but it made Microdashing click in my brain.
I think for me Microdashing is the only thing that's hard on Naoto because you gotta do it a lot while doing his combos in order to extend them(yes this character has the ability to make you destroy or dislocate your own fingers)also his buttons are not that hard, it just gets tiring overtime that you'd eventually drop your combos because your fingers might give up mid combo due to the amount of Microdashes you've done lmao but overall the hardest part about Naoto is his theme
His mixrodashes seem impossible at first and they are very much impossible. I really want to play him but I can’t even get his basic dash cancel stuff let alone this black magic level inputs. Any more over wall tips for the rest of the dash cancels
I don’t get it’s I understand the buffer. But like something just doesn’t not compute. The timing of the dash to input needs to be near instant which is fucking awful. Do you have any tips for that end because that’s what’s throwing me off. Even in simpler shirt it’s like a micro second too slow and it’s pissing me off
Honestly other than timing and muscle memory its just practice. There's really no way around that. As for what's throwing you off there's really a multitude of reasons why. If you input too fast the game doesn't register your input (because you're still in recovery), if you input it too slow then it would be too slow
I agree with Jiyuna with Naoto being easy but like I play Naoto for the cool combos
i cannont get his 214a to buffer or the dash.
Oh god.... hazama hard combos here we go... I drop microdashes like crazy
Excuse me? How to make him easier?? this is exactly what you should be doing and even the game itself covers this much. Or perhaps I missed the joke.
1:52
What is the song? It sounds familiar
I dont know the second one but the other ones are: 1) erudite eyes (under night in birth) 3) night walker (under night in birth)
Second one is Naoto's theme: Jaeger
I’m still really confused. So I get the buffer part but my issue is that going from that to 66 236b is tough. It comes out enhanced but too slow what’s the timing of the other inputs after 214A. I really like him but I just can’t do these inputs I’ve gotten it off once successfully but idk how. I’m guessing you need to do 214a412366 b?
how do you even input 214A->6623C fast enough to catch them before the combo drops?
for the first combo tutorial, how do you input the cancel so quickly into rekka? doesnt come out fast enough after the 3C->214A :((
Sorry for the late reply! If you're talking about the first combo I put theres actually a "cheat" to make that input easier. So after you do 3C->214A you dash (66) and since DP's input is 623C you can actually buffer it after the dash cancel. So it will look like this 3C->214A->6623C
Epic 😎
Am I the only one that goes back to Jiyuna's Blazblue video on Naoto sometimes and just feels...annoyed? Like, he was acting so smug because he beat 3 people online using fundamentals, but the only actually useful piece of advice that he gave in that video was how to crack open people's defense with 6A and that you need to be in the opponent's face 100% of the time. Other than that, the only thing I got from it were bad habits that stunted my growth and a combo that I could've just found in Challenge mode.
nice
Thanks!
How do you read this, I'm new and I have no ideas what most of the inputs are, could you please tell me?
Sure thing! so numpad notation is quite simple. If you look at a numpad you see that theres 3 rowws of numbers with the 1st row being (7 8 9) 2nd row (4 5 6) and 3rd row (1 2 3). These numbers indicate a direction you input. 5 is "neutral" or in the middle as you dont move your fightstick or controller pad towards any direction. 6 is "forward" as it makes your character move towards your opponent and 4 is "backwards" hope that makes sense to you!
@@jaycentVT Thanks, really appreciate it!!
You got a beautiful voice
Thank you so much!
This sounds beautiful -u-
awww I'm still trying to get better
Yoooo very good job!
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Dat production value tho 🔥
Thanks man i appreciate it!
1:38 the music sync with this combo is godly
Holy shit I didn't notice
i dont even like bbcf but naoto is too cool might have to grind more
Great guide
Cool combos, bad guide.
This was incredibly helpful as a beginner, thanks for making it
My bad for not watching this prior to making that comment on your other video. This one is for sure much better and what I was looking for.
This feels more like you are just trying to show off your combos rather than actually teaching anything. Like, you didn't say anything. You didn't even bother to mention how to do the 214A buffer which is essential to complete any of these combos.
Ngl, naoto links break me but I wanna play him coz he’s sooo FUCKING COOOLLL
FInally after searching so many videos and the ingame tutorial not going over this, a great and to the point video. One thing I wouldve wished for is for your video to include the air tech options as well. Those get me killed the most vs people that can predict and abuse them.
Imagine not doing Neta
Neta is the only way to play
What does Neta mean ? I've already seen this term used in a Yukari (P4AU character) combo video title ( neta loops ).
@@jeremyestruc1786 Neta is the opposite of Meta. Meta means practicality > fun. For example, DBFZ have a meta where you force snapback characters back in Season 2. Its boring to watch and boring to fight against. Neta on the other hand ignores practicality for style. It means doing cool combos over damage and practicality.
Thank you for answering my question.
So True So True i hate sajam bald people are weird
My cocky ass: yes, everyone knows you can block, it’s just that everyone aren’t used to doing it instinctively. Also me: wait, there’s a difference between block and barrier, what the shi-!
I didnt spend $60 to block. Only - if you're a bitch xD
