If you want better response. While moving Just quickly jab the gas pedal and release that will enable performance shifting. Which gives the car a little more get up on the high way.
I believe that what you're experiencing is that the computer is reducing engine torque less than without the traction control and stabilitrack. Typically that's the first thing that gets tweaked when you get one tuned.
it's used more gas noticeably when I leave the double traction control off... but I use it sometimes..the exhaust sounds more aggressive when the double traction is off
That is cool that you found that and I could see the potential for having some value at the track in that it allows you more manual control of the car rather than the computer handling things, however; I worked for GM engineering and this is what is happening when you do those things: The first push turns off the Active traction control, pressing the button and holding it will turn off the stabilitrac as well. If you wanted to do a track day and you’re the kind of guy that likes road feedback, then you might enjoy it. BUT you run the risk of wiping out and messing up your car because the computer can react to road feedback in about 1/ 10th of a second, no human being can do that, plus leaving Those controls on will actually give you a better time in higher speed on the road course or even a circle track because you can push the car harder without having to worry about the back and breaking loose in a corner, so it’s really just a matter of preference but it isn’t track mode
Human beings can predict course attributes that the car hasn’t encountered yet. No machine can do that as well as a machine. Let me know when your machine beats the world’s fastest drivers, let alone the average driver.
I would say a tune will get you HP increase right out the gate. You can always do intake, bigger turbo, and exhaust. I was looking at getting the Race Chip GTS tune. Claims +53hp & +53 lb-ft tq
you want the tc off on a gm ltg ...theres only one way .. you got to pull the big abs fuse.even with holding the tc button for 10-15sec if you kick it sideways tc will bring you back strait with the abs... i live in canada it snows hard here we be drifting
Wow.... i owned one and that was completely a waste of time... track mode... i guess when i put my ss into track mode and turn stabilitrack off that must mean I'm in what ever mode is possibly higher....🤣🤣. Whats higher then track mode????
Not true track mode. While it does help with throttle response , it does not improve handling, sport handling and track handling are different by far. You also forgot to double tap the gas pedal for performance mode.
Sorry man that is crap what you told here.... The first push means traction control of and when you push for 10 seconds it turns the Electronic stability Program off... That means your back of the car Breaks out when you push in Full throttle in a corner.... That is no track Mode.... Sorry. Greetz from germany, I bought the 2017 Camaro 3 weeks ago.

Should of never told me this .. now I swing my shit everywhere I go
🤣😂🤣
Same lol
This gives me more power, throttle response, loud as HELL, and easy to do burn outs now :)!
Does it work if the check engine is on?
In case anyone wonder, the best performance is reached at 5600 rpm. That's where the I4 camaro flies
Unfortunately bro that’s every GM car they make it’s just turning off stabilitrak.

All it does is turn off traction assists and stiffen the suspension as well as adjust throttle response
I love my camaro 2.0T stickshift.
I got a 6sp stick too bro it's awesome!
That's dope! I miss having a manual. Next sports car will more than likely be a stick!
Thanks fam, will be trying this when i get off work I'm mashing out 😂
That's only turn off the ESP (electronic stability program) not more...
I have the 2018 chevy camaro 1lt 2.0L turbo nightfall grey metallic
me too :)
I have a gm car. Try double clicking your traction control. On mine it enables " competitive mode". I'm sure the Camaro has that as well
Yea. Ss version and up
Nah it doesn’t have that on the turbo
@@girlwitcamaro1119 v6 has
@@AntChiulli-Chiulli_RSnope
Does the 2019 ??
Most likely
if its track mode then where is the launh control?
u have a video on muflfer and resonator delete?
No, I don't. I was looking into axle back exhausts or doing a muffler delete on the Camaro. I just never followed up on it.
DriveTalkCars is there any video on youtuber of a 2.0t w a muffler and resonator delete
Yes there are...search Camaro 2.0t muffler delete or maybe just Camaro 2.0t exhaust.
The 2.0 camaros dont come with resonators
I just tried it makes a small difference. It definitely way easier to smoke the tires now lol
yeah it does a little something something. 😁 Thanks for checking out channel and commenting! 👍🏽
I'm looking forward to this 😂
You will never crash with Buddha hanging there so don’t worry about seatbelts lol
What type of essential mods do you recommend for this Camaro for horsepower?

What’s top speed
In my rs i hit 150 easy. Lol I think it’s 155
I cant turn off mine only tc off
The other light wont pop up even when i hold it for like 15 seconds
That also enables Launch control.
I don’t think so. Atleast on my 1ls with the 2.0 turbo it doesn’t enable launch control
@@azimy9388 it really does
And now I can do that wow
There is no track mode on non 1LE turbo, v6, v8 etc. Only SS and V8 1LE and ZL have track.

Thanks for the info! I remember drifting in the snow when I lived in Michigan. 😀
"kick it sideways"?
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Damm you almost had me going to my car to try this hahha
Haha...that’s what I did when the guy told me about it. ...you see how that turned out 😆
I hate when people spread misinformation. This is not track mode. You turned off stability and traction control. That is not track mode.
He's literally Orange Man Hitler.
subbed and liked Brother. I got the 2021 2.0 turbo
Thanks Bro!
2021 is nice! I love the headlights
Yeah, I can put my 2013 Chevy Cruze in " track mode " too.😂
It’s traction mode even the Chevy trucks got it my gmc and my camaro it don’t give more power just let’s you spin good video tho
Thanks for leaving a comment! 👍🏽
I tried this now my car is a boat
Wow.... i owned one and that was completely a waste of time... track mode... i guess when i put my ss into track mode and turn stabilitrack off that must mean I'm in what ever mode is possibly higher....🤣🤣. Whats higher then track mode????
Space mode! 💪🏻
Better hold on too something
Beast mode
I would call it crash mode if being honest. Lol

What does performance mode do ?
It's 4 cylinder why would you need track mode!
To race stangsssss bruh
U be surprise they gap RTS
You'd be surprised. My 2.0t blows 5.0s away
@@ohioarrowheads7977This is true!

Just a waste of time
Why would u buy a 4 cyl🤦🏽♂️
Cheaper i got my 17 camaro for 19k 30,000 miles

Thanks for the comment. It was something someone told me. But yes, it definitely breaks loose when I hit it in a corner!
Congrats on the Camaro btw!
Congrats. Does it grab attention ?
Yeah it does...especially after putting on wheels
