They just tied up Hawkeye, Wandavision and Ms Marvel. Everything didn't feel forced either. Maria Rambeau been getting alot of silver screen time! 3 variants. I love how the Kahn's moves to Maria old house in Louisiana. Nice touch

I think that was Carol moving into Maria's old home. I thought the Khan's were moving in too until Mrs Khan pulled out the plate from the wedding of Carol and the prince.

In Carol's memory with Maria Rambeau during the blip, she says "It should have been you that day." I guess Maria was the one that flew with Mar-Vell and that's how she got her powers in the alternate universe we saw. Maybe she lost her daughter while she was still young and that's why she doesn't recognize Monica.

I think that the Maria that gets powers doesn't become a mother, and that's why she doesn't recognize who would have been her daughter 🤔

I saw the movie yesterday. When I heard the voice on the mid-credit scene, my jaw literally dropped and I gasped. The movie is a fun, escapist romp, and you only need one or two bits of knowledge from the previous films and shows to grasp the entire movie. I liked Brie better in this movie than the first. I'm not sure if it was worth the $14 ticket price, but at a matinee price, try to see this movie in the cinema if you can. I left feeling better than when I went in.

I laughed myself into tears when Carol and her husband had a singing conversation. What a great fun planet. And then the Memory scene with all the Flerkens.
I really liked The Marvels. I loved Carol, Kamala, and Monica as a team. They were fun. I wasn't as impressed by the bad lady - I got her motivation and all that. I just don't think Zawe was very good as that character and i've liked her in other things.
And the post credit scene was neat. I knew where they were going with it when they started talking multiversal travel and assumed the X Men were going to show up again....
And Kelsey Grammar as Beast is so great. He's such a good fit.

This is a great set up for Xmen ,ive always said the multiverse saga is a prefect way to get all our MCU families in the same timeline.

I saw The Marvels and enjoyed it. It’s a very creative movie good action, easy storytelling and I understood the villain’s reasoning even though villains isn’t more fleshed out.
Just felt like a weekly comic team up that got a movie

@@sca13 Love is kinda more of an extraterrestrial entity though not at all affiliated with Earth, and if we're going to include Love, technically Phyla would match the ages better. Kid Loki technically is still stuck at the end of time, but with the TVA set in a new direction, I suppose Sylvie could rescue him (and others trapped at the end of time), and with his timeline likely already pruned, could maybe be dumped in the sacred timeline maybe dunno.

So I must say that this movie was a lot better than everyone had me thinking it was ever going to be. Not that I care about their pessimism but this movie deserves better than what is receiving from the audience.

I hate the naysayers but it does creep into your subconscious, but I did see it today, with an open mind , and I got to say, I was really entertained and I thought they did a great job with retcon Captain Marvel backstory, and now I have a little bit more emotional stake with her, and heck she actually had emotions this time! I would say Disney is listening finally!
Honestly? They just hate women. Like if it was anyone else with the same exact concept they would love it. Seriously it was FUN, heartfelt and just an adventure. Sure the villain sucked but the end credits make up for everything
@@queenb2450 I liked the villain. I hate the fact that she died like other villains, but she had a pretty serious thing going, that raised the stakes quite a bit, and had consequences.
I really enjoyed The Marvels. I can see some of the criticism, but I didn't care and this movie made me smile, laugh and some scenes even made me tear up. I can easily watch The Marvels again. It's a fun movie.

Yesss it was pretty awesome I really don't get all the hate this time . Monica wasn't even instantly good she had development ,kamala was just like the show they didn't change her ,and carol had way more emotion and seemed human again after getting more memories back

Missed opportunity to make Carol Danvers be the one who fixes the tear and crosses over to the X-Men universe, where a certain young mutant working with Mystique manages to steal her powers and we finally get the Rogue we deserve.

After some of the… interesting.. choices on these past couple of movies, The Marvels feels like a breath of fresh air! It doesn’t try to be something it’s not, it’s just.. IS. Surprise how present the Khans were in the movies lmao.
While I feel like it’s not Captain Marvel 2 per se, I can confidently say that Multiverse Saga is FINALLY taking shapes. I’m excited all over again for the movies lol

I tend to listen to screencrush videos without seeing it, because i’m usually doing something else at the same time and i have to admit that i laughed a lot when Ryan said: “She meets an alternative version of her mom” because i thought it was the mom joke hahahahaha
I think the movie was pretty fun if you didn't go into it with super high expectations.. Not drawn out.. Straight to the point with a lot of hilarious stops
i stopped having high expectations since Multiverse of Madness. now i just watch it blank slate.

I really liked this movie, which is good since I'd been looking forward to it since it was announced so the potential for letdown was HUGE.

And wasn't really a fan of the movie. Herding cats didn't work for me. Thought the space station was there just to push that bit. Binary felt gimmicky. Following Clea (Dr. Strange 2) and Eros (with Pip the troll) (The Eternals) as all gimmicky characters that we will probably never see again. Beast did feel like they were connecting universes though.

Captain Marvel actually was an X-man for a time. She was one of the non-mutant members. There was never a rule that you had to be a mutant to join the team. Juggernaut has also been an X-Man several times, and Jubilee was on the team when she was no longer a mutant.
Also for relevance, Deadpool too.

if it's currently 1991, then yes. In 2023, he's part of the MAIN X-Men team.

It's weird. Mystique's makeup was far better in Days of Future Past than it was in First Class. But Beast's makeup was WORSE in Days of Future Past than it was in X-Men 3.

I think people should go to the theater to support Marvel. If we don't go to the theater, Marvel will spend less money on the movies and they will be worse.

The Maria Rambeau's superhero name is actually Binary, the CGI blue thing wearing the lab coat actually said it.
That is a Beast variant which happens to be voiced by Kelsey Grammer. It is not the same beast from the fox films. His design is clearly different and made to look more like the comics / animated series. Plus he’s all cg and the fox one was done with practical make up. This universe is a variation of the xmen fox universe. Make sure you clarify that. Continuity matters.
Absolutely loved this movie. Some of the comedy was a bit over the top but that's completely okay with me. The Ms. Marvel character really won me over by the end of her series and I only like her even more now.
The intertwining of powers and how they had to navigate fight scenes was something that impressed me. Far from my favorite but I enjoyed better than Ant-man 3 and much more than Thor Love & Thunger
Thanks for your coverage I love watching Ryan and the dog do these break downs. I’m so excited for what is to come. I think Marvels was breath of fresh air as we got some team work again similar to Avengers. Not only did we get the 3 main Marvels, but we got Nick Furry and Valkyrie cameo! It was great way handle a plot with Kree race, tease a set of a new Avengers team, and most importantly a multiversal incursion with bringing X-men into 616 sacred timeline. I reacted the same as when I Professor X in DSMM as I did here with Kelsey Grammar’s Beast! Who is the same Beast from DOFP’s timeline. I do like that they are bringing other characters who aren’t mutants into X-men’s world. The Marvels had a lot carry, personally I felt it did a good job, certainly better than ant-man quantum mania or Thor Love and Thunder.
Also the clip Marvel/Disney clip of “bring everyone!!” Had be rolling!!😂
Imagine if in Ms Marvel season 2 Daisy Johnson/Quake, played by Chole Bennet, approaches Kamala to talk to her about the Secret Warriors Initiative. Superheroes can be apart of multiple teams. Wolverine's been on the X Men and the Avengers. The Fantastic 4 have been on the Avengers and the Fantastic 4. Spiderman has been on the Avengers and the Fantastic 4.

I loved The Marvels and I loved the ending. I'll probably watch the movie 150 times, as I've watched the Ms. Marvel series at least 37 times.

I think you & channels like yours already have spoiled the movie & the movie haven’t even been out a week yet smh but it is what it is.
I think I’m glad you guys can cover the important implications that the movie presents at the end, but this is a constant disappointment they bring by having the most interesting plot points in post credits scenes. Why can’t the movies just be about the cool stuff we want they show at the end? So frustrating.

It was a fun romp. I had a great time and will definitely rewatch when I want something light and a good laugh.
I know people have been absolutely destroying this thing, but personally, I thought the film was fine. Obviously, this film has a ton of narrative issues, but there was enough of the film I think I got right where I found myself enjoying quite a bit of it, especially the Chemistry Between the main cast. 7/10, and again, I know people have been tearing the post-credit scenes to death, but I thought they were executed well as well.
I think the fact that you’re okay with “fine” should be a red flag to yourself
The movie was a fun romp. Not trying to win a best picture Oscar, but definitely a ton of fun.

Did you notes that after the villain took the 2 pandoles Ms.Marvel was able to use her mutant powers which means that she doesn't need them. She only needed one of them to activate her powers in the first place but not anymore.
Right. I'm supposing the bangles just amplify her power now...one by some degree, two by a whole lot more.
That's already established in Ms Marvels; the powers came from her latent mutation, the bangles only helped to unlock it.
