"Something you ought to know about Kevin Figee, he does not sit well with failire" OMG that has to be one of the funniest things I have ever heard. He is a shit show with everything he touches. Between him, Iger and Kennedy they have pretty muched ruined the years and years of comic book story lines, as well as the Star Wars universe. The man fails upwards in life, it's good work if you can get it I suppose. Doesn't sit well with failure, god I'm still laughing.
One of my favorite Marvel comic tropes ever is Deadpool trying to explain to Reed Richards that they live in a comic book multiverse that is governed by genre rules, not physics and Reed being completely unable to fathom it. I generally enjoy all variations on the trope, like what happens when Professor X looks into Deadpool's mind, but with Reed there's always this extra edge to it that adds a tragic element to Reed's character that makes him much more interesting.

Imagine another variant played by John Krasinski who after being told the truth by Deadpool, actually believes him and then breaks the 4th wall with a Jim Halpert style look at the camera
Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe was a fun little run.
Honestly, what he did to Xavier was utterly horrific. Sure, Charles was basically asking for it when he went into Deadpools mind to find the reason Deadpool was going on this rampage.
One of my favourite Deadpool fourth wall breaks includes a fith wall break as well. In a comic where he's teamed up with Bullseye, Bullseye asked off-handedly how long it's been since they last worked together.
Deadpool replying with the Comic Title, Issue number and literally producing a copy of said Comic that he hands to Bullseye.
Bullseye looks at the comic, back at Deadpool and just drops the comic shaking his head saying something about Wade becoming more insane as time goes on.
With Deadpool literally now reading holding Comic they are presently in as Bullseye starts preping for their mission.
Another is where he out plays Gwenpoole's attempts to alter reality by becoming the defacto Title character of the comic by simply existing.
Gwenpoole was punching above her weight in trying to remain relevant.
By trying to force Deadpool to cameo in her Comic, she ended up turning that issue into a Deadpool Comic with her as a Cameo.
It doesn't get much worse than having your own comic taken over by another character and you just being a cameo in what was your own comic.
She learned a valuble lesson, don't mess with the other more popular Meta Aware characters.

The radar thing in the void maybe controlled by Dr Doom looks a lot like the bi-frost pattern we've seen on the ground. Maybe building a way out of the void?
That ain't Doom. As much as I wish it is, he has a machine gun, cargo pants, and a not comic accurate mask. It's a deadpool movie, they're fucking with us. I like your theory though.

Deadpool's much-needed special ability is that he can communicate across the entire universe to the viewer, and his sense of humor will make him a natural narrator for the entire MCU from here forward. His films being the only ones rated R gives him a special seat for this. I think if Wanda Maximoff is going to be in Deadpool I just thought about something. Kang didn't create the TVA because of the bootstrap paradox because the TVA existed before and after Kang or without he didn't get the TVA manual in the main universe depending on the points of view which is the main universe She-Hulk breaks the 4th wall like Gwenpool utilizing the gutterspace. Gwenpool can hop out of a panel and adjust things to her liking. She even messes with the illustrator in Gwenpool Strikes Back WITH Deadpool. Doom and Loki have also been shown traveling the gutter space. We see Wiccan do something similar when he becomes the Demiurge. He stands above all the panels and can rewrite the comics. that is my top 5 story I can see it were hiding that plan just now.
I think they are not in Age of Ultron but instead in Logan in the snowy forest. If you rewatch Logan again, you'll see that one of the mutant kids topples a truck over X-24. That truck was a six-wheeler, two wheels close to each other in the back, and two wheels separate in the front. The Ultron truck that's topples over isn't like that. This is definitely the Logan timeline.

You're confusing timelines with universes. The initial timeline was taken over by a Kang variant after the multiversal war finished, and whatever variant was in power isolated the main MCU timeline from the rest, including other universes. 616 was the only universe touched by the Loki series.
The TVA was created after HWR took power, he needed grunts to do his pruning and keeping other Kang variants from hopping from timeline to timeline and universe to universe to take over.
Right, but who is to say that the same thing happened before in another universe or another tva in an omniuniverse in the comics Kang is known for lying and taking credit for others' tech
@@duaneherndon6736 then wouldn’t it technically be a boot-strap paradox? As if Kang always came through and overtook a current standing TVA. From everything we know thus far, either HWR made the first TVA, or a version of Kang implanted the seeds to grow the organization in another version of Himself in combination with people like OB, Loki, etc. Thus, its either HWR made the first TVA, and it will always be around to re-taken over; or a Kang variant always indirectly implements the starting measures for its development.
I've got Reede's Incursion description memorised at this point.

I think people are missing something in the trailer as soon as wade blows out the candle the tva come to his door that means that he could have made a wish that branched the timeline just like how in Loki little things can branch timelines. My theory.😂

At 17:54, look to Wolverine's left. Is that HIT-MONKEY????? In Majipoor (sorry if I spelled it wrong) there are lots of assassins. Hit-Monkey was an assassin. He also showed up in a few Deadpool comics. I think he actually started in a Deadpool mini series. Could Deadpool be recruiting Hit-Monkey????? Could that NOT be Wolverine but it's made to look like him to throw us off?
Just to clarify, add some background context and be pedantic, the comic boom in the 90s was the direct result of sports cards in the late 80s and early 90s. Football and baseball cards exploded in popularity, with people buying them up in order to speculate/collect. Not long after, people did the same thing with comic books. I was collecting cards back then so I remember it pretty vividly. Strange as it sounds, I don't remember people being super interested in sports cards until Garbage Pail Kids cards came out and those were ridiculously popular.
Even though they teased the comic, i still.hope there is a space where we get Ravonna and that pyramid pay-off from Loki. .i just hope that wasnt there for eye candy

Yeah agreed Ryan, growing up with anxiety and depression. I also use humour to help me cope with it at times. But unlike you, it's actually helped me. It allows me to take a step back and review my various scenarios from an observer perspective so I can make jokes about it. Still, if therapy works for some people, then by all means you should use it! Every tool you have to help deal with anxiety and depression is like gold, or even better!

For general audiences, it's been proven that you have to show an explanation or something that hints at an explanation, but if nobody in the movie aknowledges what was shown, then a loud portion of the audience won'T accept those hints. It's a delicate balance that needs to be pulled here between show don't tell and "explain it like i am 5" for the general audiences....

You talked about Wanda being a Nexxus being, can you explain again what that means? My understanding right now is she the same person in every universe, wouldn’t that apply to others as well? For example, in Endgame, we saw multiple characters played by the same person in different timelines. Maybe it’s the Scarlet Witch that only exists in our main timeline? I’m not sure if that makes sense…

The only question is why would a Loki's ruled TVA try to prune any branches when Loki is holding every reality together so they dont die? My guess is they are actually trying to save them despite constant incursions and they need help form Wade as Agent Deadpool, an homage on how Loki did the exact same thing.
TVA will just be the way Deadpool achives multiversal awareness and then moves onto his own agenda with Wolverine, this being saving his univers or causing a butterfly effect towards Secret Wars, while the TVA might be the ones trying to stop it with the idea of preserving every timeline and detain nexus beings to avoid incursions (tho they wont see Dr Doom rise up).
If Josh Brolin was contracted for 3 more movies than maybe we might get some Death, Deadpool and Thanos, who was portraed by Josh Brolin already.
I hope Deadpool will bring back Quicksilver from the MCU, since we see him in a forest that looks just like Age of Ultron's!

The problem with the timeline and multiverse story is literally the gap between films. Even the buzz for things like stranger things will die off if it takes 5-10 years for the next release. Eventually people will stop caring and not want to do homework. That's why guardians was such a success. It was set in that universe, but was character driven and works well in isolation. I can see the next few marvel films just being a convoluted mess.
I actually saw the New Mutants in theaters and I enjoyed it. It could have been better if it was rated R and not release during the pandemic.
I saw The New Mutants! It was alright, but felt like a TV movie as the scenes were confined to one venue and their backstories and powers weren't properly fleshed out. Hope they bring back the characters and give them all justice.
Doctor Strange was 2016, it beat Spiderverse and clearly stated Multiverse and Feige waa talking about cinematic Multiverse around the release of that film.
In the new trailer, the closed captions names the agent talking to Wade as "Paradox." Please explain who PARADOX is. Im not comic savvy but id like to know who that is.

The TVA may not be pruning realities, but they may still be pruning individuals related to a Kang coming to be on a given universe.
The tva in this should have meta jokes like the workers in the cabin in the woods did.
How Ryan Arey explained this it inspired me to think that the marvel universe is the main universe because they had an major anomaly happen in the MCU that may have never happened in any other universe ever so all other universes may change because of this one anomaly just have to figure out what it was

The TVA is irrelevant when it comes to time. Deadpool & Wolverine could happen whenever, & could happen even before Loki. But Hopefully it’s after. I would love to see Loki and Deadpool interact. However, the TVA is a good city. It’s not just an office room like we saw throughout seasons one and two of Loki. Maybe he’s in a different area, like a recruitment program. From the teaser alone, he doesn’t have the jumpsuit that the prisoners get. Also, the room looks completely different. And I think that was intentional.
Nope. "Blade" (1998) was the first massively successful Marvel superhero movie, which paved the way for X-Men 2000 and Spider-mam 2002 by showing studios what Marvel comic-based films could be and should look like to make money. They were just afraid to market it as a Marvel character film at the time (because comic movies outside of Batman 1989 and Superman generally failed and were basically looked at as "campy") so they stayed away from the "superhero" marketing and leaned into the Vampire/Martial Arts Action side of it. But of course, comic fans knew what was up immediately and non-comic readers also loved that film, helping it to become a top action film and a cult classic.
This film also eased the minds of investors and shareholders by showing them the sheer money-making potential of non-campy comic book films that could be more gritty and not made specifically for families or kids... They discovered that "edgier" films were not as risky as they had previously thought and could actually be profitable beyond belief if created and marketed properly.
Blade didn`t even really have that much of a budget (produced for $45 million but with a U.S. Box Office of $70 million and overseas box office of $60 million) - and that was without much mainstream marketing or promotion in the USA at all (I actually found the film by accident by just going to the movie theater after shopping... had no clue it was THAT "Blade" because I hadn`t seen any TV spots for it). "The Matrix" (1999) was made for about $63 Million and got about $460 Million - but that was with much better marketing, Keanu Reeves, and Laurence Fishburn in it)
So~ really the X-Men, Spider-Man franchises and the current MCU owe their success to Blade (prove me wrong)! 🤣❤
And so far the only massively successful comics-based multiverse film series is "Spiderverse" I believe. So~ give it up for black filmmakers and movies with black character leads for successfully paving the way into much larger universes!
Well, I'd think that with how long ago the Fox X-Men movies ended, there's a chance that they could have been pruned before they stopped pruning. At least some of it.

From what I've heard one of the reasons why X-Men dark Phoenix field is because a lot of the plans for the movie where is stolen and used in the Captain Marvel movie.
As much as I hate how Thor and Wanda were written recently, I miss them so much.

He Who Remains paved the way for Loki, Loki defied him and broke the mold, so is Loki paving the way for Wade? If so, I’m sure Loki knows Deadpool will create problems and work against the road paved just like Loki
