Stumbled across this last night. As a musical theatre performer and musician of almost twenty years professional experience, I can reliably state that this is absolutely fantastic. Captures the feel of the source material, with a great script, excellent contemporary choreography, and clever staging. Most importantly, every song is pure brilliance. As a Brit, some of the actor's accents are a little inconsistent, but it doesnt detract from the experience. The actor who played Tom is especially good. Furthermore, I cried like a child during Watson's solo and the final number. 11/10. Criminally underrated.
An entertaining and clever spin on the crime solving relationship between Holmes and Watson that remains true to the original characters while addressing contemporary issues that leads Sherlock through a musical adventure in search of not only, "Who done it?" but "Who am I?". Love it! Can't wait to see it on stage.
This is amazing, a real treat for casual fans and dedicated Holmesians alike! The story is intriguing and the characters are well portrayed. Thank you for making this and gifting it to the world.
I was not expecting such deep, immediately applicable humanity and soul-searching from a mystery musical set in the late nineteenth century; but this show exceeded all my expectations. The music is both catchy and meaningful, and the whole piece begs watching again and again, because I'm sure I wasn't watching close enough! Thank you for this work of art!

I’ve seen several plays and been in many more, and I have yet to see something as poignantly emotional and emotional as this. It truly rivals Phantom of the Opera in its majesty. I’ve been absolutely obsessed with all things Sherlock since I was a little girl, and I am so exhilarated to have seen this. At first, I thought it was an idea that could never work, but I am so glad to have been proven wrong. This is an utter masterpiece, and I am in tears both from emotion and a complete overwhelming euphoria at how amazing this was. Truly something worth recognition. I hope to have the opportunity to be in this one someday.

The Holmes/ Watson dynamic is too good, the music sets up a superb mystery atmosphere, and I am surprised at how good a mystery it is overall. I will try to get my friends into this.
It's the message of the music for me with this one. Every time I focus on the lyrics, I laugh more or am moved more deeply. Our world will be a better place if more people watch Sherlock the Musical. 💯 guys!

I AM AT LOST FOR WORDS. The film was so beautiful. I LOVE IT. I cried on some parts of Into the Shadow towards the end (especially on Love Someone!!!) and I still can't stop crying. The acting and the music blends so well 😭💖. EVERYTHING'S SO WONDERFUL. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing masterpiece to us. It took me a few days to finally be able to sit down and full watch this wonderful musical because I am in the middle of Hell Week (or Heck Week as we call it) with my local theater. I've been working from 4pm-1am for the past two weeks, but my lovely friend and I have finally managed to find time together to watch this FANTASTIC performance! We have been waiting patiently for months now and listening to the album we fell in love HARD and FAST! So when the full film finally dropped we promised each other no peeking until we watched it together! We wished you could have seen our faces at "One Step Ahead"! We were NOT expecting that twist and even went back to the album to see if we missed SUCH an important detail! The whole musical giving us laughter and tears in such a hectic couple of weeks (with their finals and my tech rehearsals). We couldn't have asked for anything better! This deserves to be on Broadway because I would have PAYED to see this live! I am very lucky your crew was kind enough to have this listed here for free on UA-cam! As an artist, I'll be sure to draw some of your LOVELY cast members! Also as one actor to another, wish us luck on our opening night next Friday! Heaven knows we need it!

This is my fifth watch of this musical and I always fall in love again and again in amazement ✨✨✨ What really gets me every time is the dance in Elementary because John's leg was like "oi time to dance (gets healed all of a sudden)" 😂😂

That was an absolute masterpiece! A complete work of art! It struck me directly in my heart! I was crying so hard near the end! The dynamics of the characters were absolutely amazing, and the songs and choreography? Stunning! I’ve waited so long to see this, and I am so happy that this has finally been released! It just kept getting better and better! I will 100% be watching this on repeat for a very long time! It has only just premiered and it is already on my list of my favourite interpretations of the Sherlock Holmes stories! Everyone did a brilliant job on this musical!

**HUGE SPOILER FOR THE SECOND ACT** I’m on my second watch and I absolutely love seeing Moriarty in the ensemble throughout the show AND after One Step Ahead. That moment where Sherlock rips the paper away and he’s standing right there was so cool

As a longtime fan of Sherlock Holmes who is very particular about what adaptations I tend to enjoy, everything about this production is so excellent. I particularly enjoyed the casting - Kaden Caldwell as Watson was a delight as I really loved the physicality he brought to it (and his hair) and Conlon Bonner as Holmes had the exact right mix of vulnerability, theatricality and arrogant panache. But truly the entire cast knocked it out of the park. Beautifully adapted story with themes resonant of canon, fantastic songs, lovely arrangement, thoughtfully applied atmospheric lighting and cool choreography. Well done to everyone involved
Although I've watched the film a number of times, I've been streaming the music on Spotify during travel, and literally find more and more subtle gems with each listen. When I switch to regular radio play, what's coming through the speakers feels like straw or mud compared to the edge, sparkle, and depth of the Sherlock music...and I'm talking both lyrically and musically. This is easily as good (or better) than anything new I've heard in what seems like a long time. SO deserving of multiple views and listens. I will pay good money to see this live on stage. It's just so good.

It's truly amazing how much emotion, how much passion can be seen in things such as this! I truly commend your actors for playing their roles so eloquently, and how Moriarty made such a good villain! This is incredible! As a massive Sherlock and theatre fan, this made my day. The music fitted perfectly into the play's aesthetic and mystery, as well did the script. It kept accurately close to the personality of the original duo. I can't wait to see it on stage!
This is such an intriguing, captivating piece of art-classic lit + dimensional characters + stellar score w/ vibes of Hamilton but more genre varieties + timely themes + stunning twists…and mystery to boot! I've loved the song 'Into the Shadows' since I first saw it randomly on UA-cam, and have been desperately hoping that the musical would be available at some point. Being able to see it in this format, with a full production, is absolutely fantastic. I was (and maybe remain) a bit skeptical about the story and plain dialogue through the first half - the last scene before intermission with Watson's clarity was a nice climax and set up the ending much more cleanly than I'd feared with the confusion of the previous scenes . . . but the music and the soaring violin notes make up for any weakness in actual plot or writing. Thank you a million times for making this available on a broader scale - I will certainly be sharing it with my musical-theatre-loving friends!

@@SherlockMusical My two absolute favourite songs are Elementary and On the Surface. The former is catchy and shows off the chemistry between the two leads, truly showcasing the bond and friendship of the characters through the song, while the latter just gave me goosebumps and carried a lot of emotional weight. The closing scene between Sherlock and Watson is a great finale to the story.
1st watch: This looks cool - wait, a full original musical online? SO COOL SO COOL SO COOL After 1st watch: THAT WAS GREAT. It's going to be stuck in my head for a while. 4th watch: Why am I re-watching it? Oh well. 10th watch: *singing at the top of my lungs* EVERYBODY'S GOT A DIFFERENT STORY, EVERYBODY'S GOT DIFFERENT FACTS. Well, I just bought the whole soundtrack...I think I'm obsessed. I love this so much! The plot, music, and interactions are written so well. Although I cannot say that I have read many Sherlock Holmes stories, I know enough to see most of the references. Another supporter of Chris Rollins as my daughter has been acting at Durant Road Musical Theater for years. This presentation was incredible! I loved it and can't wait to see it on stage. The actors accents were all wonderful, and their talent undeniable. The songs were fun and memorable as well. I also worked in film in Manhattan for years, and have to say, the way this was staged, lit and shot was incredible. I specifically liked the light coming through the window, and the lamp posts. Thanks for putting this all together.

Man, the end and the beginning reminded me of when I did a musical theater with my classmates last year and I presented it more or less like this the format (beginning and ending speech... scene labels😂🙃...)
God, I wasn't expecting it to hit me this hard. I actually almost cried several times! The first act wasn't really catching me, but once the drama really set in, I was HOOKED. 2nd act's songs were so good, I loved them so. freaking. much. From the 1st act my favourite was The Game is On. And from all the ones I loved in the second act, Into The Shadows and Love Someone really stood out. This musical had a gorgeous message, and the relationship between Watson and Sherlock was beautiful. I loved it so much, thank you guys for making this masterpiece ❤️

I have loved Sherlock since I was 13 and was a little unsure about a musical of the character. But this has been a entertaining and clever take on the character with a very talented cast and crew, absolutely brilliant And may I say the perfect pair for a musical homes and Watson and a very sinister moriatiy
Love this show! Just found it a few days ago. I love Sherlock Holmes and my daughter just got a chance to play Sherlock last summer. And a bunch of the teens from that show have been trying to write a Sherlock musical then we found this and they agree this is amazing! This is miles better than any theatre version of Sherlock that we've come across. Especially love that you show their deep friendship with out using the gay relationship trope. Also think it works because that friendship and John are really the core of this story.

It's just incredible! You have managed to create something completely new, preserving the atmosphere of the works of Arthur Conan Doyle. An exciting plot in the spirit of the original kept me in suspense until the very end. The cast is unusual and catchy in its own way, the characters turned out to be lively and unpredictable, and the move with the fall of John instead of Sherlock is really surprising. Honestly, I couldn't have predicted this turn of events. Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the creation of this masterpiece!
I've been sending it to everyone I can think of. Now- is there a soundtrack or copy if this we can buy or download? I keep thinking this would be great on a circular stage to move the scenes and keep that flow going. Amazing job!

I AM AT LOST FOR WORDS. The film was so beautiful. I LOVE IT. I cried on some parts of Into the Shadow towards the end (especially on Love Someone!!!) and I still can't stop crying. The acting and the music blends so well 😭💖. EVERYTHING'S SO WONDERFUL. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing masterpiece to us. Congratulations to the actors and the people behind the production for doing a great job finishing this film.

It took me a few days to finally be able to sit down and full watch this wonderful musical because I am in the middle of Hell Week (or Heck Week as we call it) with my local theater. I've been working from 4pm-1am for the past two weeks, but my lovely friend and I have finally managed to find time together to watch this FANTASTIC performance! We have been waiting patiently for months now and listening to the album we fell in love HARD and FAST!
So when the full film finally dropped we promised each other no peeking until we watched it together! We wished you could have seen our faces at "One Step Ahead"! We were NOT expecting that twist and even went back to the album to see if we missed SUCH an important detail! The whole musical giving us laughter and tears in such a hectic couple of weeks (with their finals and my tech rehearsals). We couldn't have asked for anything better! This deserves to be on Broadway because I would have PAYED to see this live! I am very lucky your crew was kind enough to have this listed here for free on UA-cam!

That was an absolute masterpiece! A complete work of art! It struck me directly in my heart! I was crying so hard near the end! The dynamics of the characters were absolutely amazing, and the songs and choreography? Stunning! I’ve waited so long to see this, and I am so happy that this has finally been released! It just kept getting better and better! I will 100% be watching this on repeat for a very long time! It has only just premiered and it is already on my list of my favourite interpretations of the Sherlock Holmes stories! Everyone did a brilliant job on this musical!

As a longtime fan of Sherlock Holmes who is very particular about what adaptations I tend to enjoy, everything about this production is so excellent. I particularly enjoyed the casting - Kaden Caldwell as Watson was a delight as I really loved the physicality he brought to it (and his hair) and Conlon Bonner as Holmes had the exact right mix of vulnerability, theatricality and arrogant panache. But truly the entire cast knocked it out of the park. Beautifully adapted story with themes resonant of canon, fantastic songs, lovely arrangement, thoughtfully applied atmospheric lighting and cool choreography. Well done to everyone involved

Although I've watched the film a number of times, I've been streaming the music on Spotify during travel, and literally find more and more subtle gems with each listen. When I switch to regular radio play, what's coming through the speakers feels like straw or mud compared to the edge, sparkle, and depth of the Sherlock music...and I'm talking both lyrically and musically. This is easily as good (or better) than anything new I've heard in what seems like a long time. SO deserving of multiple views and listens.
I will pay good money to see this live on stage. It's just so good.

I've loved the song 'Into the Shadows' since I first saw it randomly on UA-cam, and have been desperately hoping that the musical would be available at some point. Being able to see it in this format, with a full production, is absolutely fantastic. I was (and maybe remain) a bit skeptical about the story and plain dialogue through the first half - the last scene before intermission with Watson's clarity was a nice climax and set up the ending much more cleanly than I'd feared with the confusion of the previous scenes . . . but the music and the soaring violin notes make up for any weakness in actual plot or writing. Thank you a million times for making this available on a broader scale - I will certainly be sharing it with my musical-theatre-loving friends!

The former is catchy and shows off the chemistry between the two leads, truly showcasing the bond and friendship of the characters through the song, while the latter just gave me goosebumps and carried a lot of emotional weight. The closing scene between Sherlock and Watson is a great finale to the story.

Another supporter of Chris Rollins as my daughter has been acting at Durant Road Musical Theater for years. This presentation was incredible! I loved it and can't wait to see it on stage. The actors accents were all wonderful, and their talent undeniable. The songs were fun and memorable as well. I also worked in film in Manhattan for years, and have to say, the way this was staged, lit and shot was incredible. I specifically liked the light coming through the window, and the lamp posts. Thanks for putting this all together.

God, I wasn't expecting it to hit me this hard. I actually almost cried several times! The first act wasn't really catching me, but once the drama really set in, I was HOOKED. 2nd act's songs were so good, I loved them so. freaking. much. From the 1st act my favourite was The Game is On. And from all the ones I loved in the second act, Into The Shadows and Love Someone really stood out. This musical had a gorgeous message, and the relationship between Watson and Sherlock was beautiful. I loved it so much, thank you guys for making this masterpiece ❤️

I have loved Sherlock since I was 13 and was a little unsure about a musical of the character. But this has been a entertaining and clever take on the character with a very talented cast and crew, absolutely brilliant

Love this show! Just found it a few days ago. I love Sherlock Holmes and my daughter just got a chance to play Sherlock last summer. And a bunch of the teens from that show have been trying to write a Sherlock musical then we found this and they agree this is amazing! This is miles better than any theatre version of Sherlock that we've come across. Especially love that you show their deep friendship with out using the gay relationship trope. Also think it works because that friendship and John are really the core of this story.

It's just incredible! You have managed to create something completely new, preserving the atmosphere of the works of Arthur Conan Doyle. An exciting plot in the spirit of the original kept me in suspense until the very end. The cast is unusual and catchy in its own way, the characters turned out to be lively and unpredictable, and the move with the fall of John instead of Sherlock is really surprising.
