Nice video. I made a huge mistake, thinking Rogues didn't use spells, so I sold them all. Now at lvl 20 and with no spells, just starting Hell level, she can't do anything against the huge mob trains.
@TheVortexLord the game randomizes the monsters on each level (as I'm sure you're aware). The "succubus" are the weakest version of their class. I've had them on level 12 before as well. For example, some weak Catacomb monster classes can appear on level 4, Cave monsters on level 8, etc. I love Succubus, so I was so happy. :)
It's not supposed to. The authors didn't allow this option in single player mode. But it's possible to play alone in multi player mode and that's what we see in this movie. However, there is an update for Diablo called 'Hellfire' which gives this option in SP (but it's made by Sierra, not Blizzard, and doesn't match the quality of the original game, so I don't recommend using it).
consider that stats have cap. so just max everything through levels/elixirs. items? some lords bow of haste, jewelry with res and all stats, helm and armor godly with + HP. basics.
'start new game' and select the difficulty, but make sure no items are on the ground that you want. (Only your inventory carry with you) I forget how to explain the online with single player character, but theres a way. Its just not on 'Bnet'
You have to go to multiplayer. Click direct connection. Choose your character and the difficulty you want. Then once loaded. Click new game. Go back to the main menu. Go to single player and load up your character. You will now be in hell difficulty . You can double check because the gold will be much higher and your exp when you kill enemies will be much higher. Also you will be stun locked on every hit. Enjoy single player hell difficulty!
@@basileleftheriades9736 A maniac did a full run, while starting with a level 1 rogue..(he chose against sorcerer due to rng and spells, and warrior would be unable to get anywhere). Somehow he actually made it through the full game on that one run.
Elixers are very common from Adria. And its easy to get more stats from elixers than you get from leveling past a certain point when you have more gold than you know what to do with. Even without any duping. May as well dump the gold on elixers.

I hate it how overpowered magic is in vanilla game, and how money becomes worthless later on.

@pressar not in d1 classic in hellfire yes
Nice rogue bro! can you tell me how I should build mine to be like this (stats and itens priorization)?
consider that stats have cap. so just max everything through levels/elixirs. items? some lords bow of haste, jewelry with res and all stats, helm and armor godly with + HP. basics.
the money that you put next to the potion lady - does that ever disappear?
What?
Hellfire just adds to the game, the extra content is entirely optional, you can just ignore the extra content and enjoy SP Nightmare and Hell.
i had fantasies with succubuss's in diablo 1 as a kid... :l
Chickity-check yo self before ya nut yo self :T
does anyone know how to change the difficulty in single player without hellfire or at least how to copy my single player character to multiplayer?
