Thanks so much for your hard work in your videos. We went to DL AND DCA this week and i used them. Rope drop at DL to SM then matahorn BTM IJ. All this done by 10 caught M&M rail at a 15 min. All without genie or LL. Thanks for sharing and making our trip magical. Tommy from North Carolina
Now you're getting more of a full picture of what the rest of us experience during those mid-day hours. It's easy to forget or lose touch when you are there often and only do certain things at certain parts of the day. I'd love to see more videos of you trying different approaches midday! I think you'll see how 1-2 rides can really throw a wrench in the system. It's really hard to find that perfect approach. And it will be so much different when HM and Tianas are open again
agreed! And people wonder why we cave in and buy Genie+ :/. When there are long stretches of time in between your trips, you have to maximize. You can’t afford not to
I am so happy to see you put out a video like this. I feel like those of us who have gone to the DLR our whole lives are keen on these hacks, but more people need to do these tricks to get the most out of their day. That is where Fresh Baked comes in and becomes the hero! Thank you for putting these out, Fresh Baked!
Queue Science is my favourite type of video these days. You've inspired me to do it at Disneyland Paris...and it's so fascinating!! Thanks for another great video, David!
This video shows why I rope drop fantasyland and then stack my lightning lanes and ride those during the middle of the day and evening. Those fantasyland queues are beefy.😮
Love this coverage. We don’t go on big rides, and try to avoid parades. We take the opposite route and do Star Tours, BLAB, Ariel, RR, M&MRR, & Small World, then go over to CaAdv for the afternoon. Come back to Disneyland right before 2nd parade starts and go on RotR, Pirates, Indy, and Jungle.
This video is cementing in my mind that on days I go with intent to go on rides I will always buy Genie+ and obviously rope drop to get the full advantage of it.
Similar to the four mountain challenge, how about a boat challenge; ride every Disneyland boat related attraction in four hours or less! Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Davey Crockett Canoes, Tom Sawyer Rafts, The Columbia, The Mark Twain, Finding Nemo, Tiana’a Adventure, and Small World. Can it be done? There are a few months to assess the challenge and plan your strategy.
Midday we usually take a break in our room watching ppl overlooking downtown having salt and straw.. 😊 cant wait to go back… hopefully critter country and HM will reopen very soon. FRESHBAKED!
I visit the park on Mondays. I hit the lightning lanes rides early in the day. I also use single rider on those rides that have it. I look at the tip board for ROTR. I enjoy the Mark Twain and the railroad for a needed rest.
FreshBaked. David, I don't think anyone works in L.A. on a Monday anymore. First city to go to a 4 day working week in U.S. I wonder how long it will take before maintainance bring's back the firefly's at the start of pirates and repair the effect's not working on Big Thunder? Apart from that what a great day to be at Disneyland. Cheers, Chris Perry.
I think part of the reason Matterhorn didn't see much of a decrease was partly due to the fact that majority of parade guests have kids who may not have been able to ride Matterhorn anyways.
I would think that the closer you are to the parade route, the busier the rides would be due to people saving spots and while other in their group try to squeeze in a ride and make it back for the parade. I'm wondering would the out skirts of the park like GE be less busy during a parade?
Missed you yesterday bummer... im back today, though. As a frequent atrender myself, i may disagree with some things you say. But i appreciate you and your presentation to the first-time guest.
I use the afternoon to find a spot to people watch while I enjoy a leisurely beverage and snack. Like a bench on Rivers of America in NO Square or between the Matterhorn and Fantasy Land. Or that shady table area between Matterhorn and Small World.
watching the ride from the Blue Bayu is a wonderfull experiance. the Cajun food is to hot for me. my mouth felt on fire not even water could cool it down.
So I'm going on week of Sept 9 and now I'm wondering if I should change my reservations based on what your saying about Mondays, are they really always that busy? I have Tues, Thurs, Sat, Monday booked. Sounds like all bad days. I know Saturday is a given but I wanted all the characters and fireworks.
David, me and my daughter love your Disney videos! Saw your camera gear video 5 years ago, but what are you using now? Your walkthroughs look smooth and crisp, what do you edit on as well. I make disney videos with my daughter and would appreciate some tips brother.
Could the increase in times be due to Monday being the first day of the Summer promotion? And this will be the norm going forward? I am coming to Disney in July, so interested in picking up as many tips as possible.
David have you considered collaborating with other Disney UA-camrs to do some of this recon with you on the same day same time just different strategies? This would allow for seeing the differences on the day and you could advertise your channel on there channels as well helping them out. I know this could be too many chefs in the bakery but you could bake some new muffins in the process. Thanks for the mid day strategy guide these will be useful.
I can’t remember the last time I rode on Peter Pan because it’s ALWAYS that long a wait! 😩🤷🏻♀️the shortest I’ve ever seen that line claim to be was 45 min.
I remember as a kid just going from land to land enjoying the rides. Now you need a phone and "strategies". How magical is that? David, you can keep Disneyland. I will go elsewhere to have fun and relax.
Perfect timing!!! My friends kids FINALLY agreed to a trip! They are 15 and 16 and she finally said whatever if they don’t want to go let’s you and I go. So we picked dates and she said coming or staying home, you’re old enough now….surprise surprise FOMO kicked in 😅 her son is excited. Daughter and teen angst fomo against her will but she’s in too So of course we want to provide the best day ever because we may never have another opportunity to impress them with Disney. They don’t like shows but I’m going to try to get them interested in the parade and firework show. That’s a can’t miss if we can help it. Plop them down to rest and wait with delicious food and I have half a chance. I have a feeling we will have a convert with Indiana Jones. They don’t like roller coasters except mom likes big thunder. Any other ideas out there about what may convert her ? Indians Jones is my best guess at the moment. For Disneyland. Rad springs and maybe soaring for DCA I will very much appreciate any other thoughts on the matter 😃
It feels like the parade NEVER makes a difference in wait times!! Since it’s peak crowd time anyway, I think it’s just absorbing the extra, thus the lines for rides remain basically the same
Honest question… does Matterhorn still have single rider? Last time I was there in June 2023 and my boyfriend and I just got in single rider even if we didn’t ride together and it was great.
I know this is a controversial opinion but I think closing down Muppet Vision 3-D was a big mistake because Disneyland has no Muppets attraction and Even though Muppet Vision 3-D is gone I think they should retheme the Paradise Gardens area with The Muppets The Little Mermaid attraction will stay because that is a great ride and I love it but the other attractions near it would close the Golden Zeppelins will be rethemed to Pigs in Space from The Muppet Show, Jumpin Jellyfish will be Themed to Hot airballoons themed to Kermit the Frog taken from The Great Muppet Caper, Goofy's Sky School will be Rethemed to The Great Gonzo's StuntMadness and instead of a Airplanes guests will ride on the Plunger car from the Muppet Movie and the attraction takes place in The Great Gonzo's StuntShow Madness and for his 3rd act he invited you the guests on his Plunger Car the beginning of the ride you see Gonzo in his cannon being launched in the sky and then your car jumps though a Fire hoop (Which is not a fire Hoop it's just a hoop painted orange but it glows in the Dark at Night), a circular Saw, and at the end you see Gonzo on his Motorcycle in a slingshow and at the end he crashing himself and the motorcycle on the Stunt show Building and you see his cutout and his Motorcycle on the Building which is a tribute Muppet Vision 3-D and then at the end you unload from the vehicle and exit safety. The pizza place near by will be rethemed to PizzaRizzo from Disney World, and lastly The Silly Symphony Swings will be rethemed to the Electric Mayhem and will be titled The Eletric Mayhem: RockSwings
Midday I'm at my hotel snacking and taking a nap and come back for the 6ish parade refreshed and ready for park close. I'm a rope dropper. By midday it's so busy and the children are as tired as me but they're tantrums and screaming makes me overstimulated and want to scream as well, so I need a midday break. Oh and BTW when I say the children I mean everyone else's children. I'm a Disney Adult.
i feel like if disney entirely cut lightning lane rides like pirates and haunted mansion could have much shorter queues pulling people away from the fantasyland dark rides.
also the teacups should be replaced by a system like aquatopia at disneysea where the vehicles still go every which way but it can be consistantly loaded. not sure how you'd manage the cups coming into the stations and the roatation.
IMO Peter Pan is a terrible midday option. I feel the DASS line including MEP as well as guided tours make it just like a lightning lane attraction. Several times I have sat in the queue while they attempt to empty the fast pass queue. I will only rope drop Pan or very late night
Which Bayou scene is done better, Pirates or Tiana's? its funny there are two, but it is interesting to compare and contrast them. One makes you feel like you are really in a different place and one is more focused on dialogue written by an illiterate.
Yeah I don’t think Big Thunder or Matterhorn are good rides to do in the Summer in the middle of the day…save those for nighttime. Mid-day this time of year I’m going for rides with shady and/or indoor queues like Runaway Railway or Indiana Jones.
My best midday strategy is taking a long nap back at the hotel lol.
Studying this like the SAT
I speak fluent Disney, and talking to non Disney people makes me feel insane😂
So grateful for guests who go to parades and performances!
This video has reiterated my longtime strategy of taking a break in the afternoon, going back to the hotel for a nap or swim!
My thoughts exactly.
Cant wait to see the look on my wife's face when I use " parade adjacent attraction" in a sentence.
This will also be me, when I say this to my best friend about our upcoming trip, LOL.
Tommy from North Carolina

agreed! And people wonder why we cave in and buy Genie+ :/. When there are long stretches of time in between your trips, you have to maximize. You can’t afford not to
This has confirmed what I already knew. Go back to the hotel and take a nap or go in the pool. 😅
Can’t wait for haunted mansion to reopen
I am still thinking about waiting until Classic Haunted Mansion to come back.
I miss it so much 😥
FREDHBAKED is DISNEYLAND!!
Love the walk and talks, it is as close to being there as actually being there. 200K SUBs!!!!
Queue Science is my favourite type of video these days. You've inspired me to do it at Disneyland Paris...and it's so fascinating!! Thanks for another great video, David!
I’m loving these experiment videos! They’re helping me plan for my 1 day in each park coming up!
Thanks for making a midday video. Would love to see more tips, tricks and hacks for midday as that is when we can go.
‘David you are the best !!!😎🕊️🌎🇺🇸🦩🎭🎶🎈✝️🦜🍉🎥👁️🙏🏼🌏
Wonder what the lines would be if HM and Tiana’s were open.
It's going to be a win for them all because it'll divide the crowds. I like Tiana/Splash Mountain at night. It has a special feel for me.
This video shows why I rope drop fantasyland and then stack my lightning lanes and ride those during the middle of the day and evening. Those fantasyland queues are beefy.😮
Same. I’m a fan of rope dropping fantasyland. It’s seems really packed any other time.
Watching you ride the tea cups reminds me why I don’t ride the tea cups. I feel queasy just watching you spin!
This video is cementing in my mind that on days I go with intent to go on rides I will always buy Genie+ and obviously rope drop to get the full advantage of it.
Best thing about summer afternoons in the park is that they are followed by Summer nights.
Tru dat
Summer Nights = Best Disneyland Weather
I would love a video comparing days - especially to help decide which day to do DCA vs DL!
26:26 - I’m THRILLED you wanted to Ride The Teacups!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Great info. Love these vids, good sir.
Congrats on 200k!!! Awesome!!♥️♥️♥️
happy 65th birthday to you Matterhorn Bobsleds and the Monorails and the submarines voyage
Thank you for braving the big queues for science! Hopefully I'll run into you on Saturday June 22.
This is the type of recon I’ve been waiting for. Thank you!
Similar to the four mountain challenge, how about a boat challenge; ride every Disneyland boat related attraction in four hours or less! Love pirate the smell everything about this ride🏴☠️ can’t wait for the video to see what day of the week is slower
The pirate smell is the best. Sometimes in the middle of the dish washer running I’ll open the door and take a whiff. Almost like I’m there 🏴☠️
I loved this video! Please do more afternoon strategy videos! No one else is doing these!
thank you for the support. we do plan to do more of these :)
Midday we usually take a break in our room watching ppl overlooking downtown having salt and straw.. 😊 cant wait to go back… hopefully critter country and HM
will reopen very soon. FRESHBAKED!
Thanks for talking with me at the park! It’s definitely Seattle weather in SoCal when it’s overcast!
Love the Queue Science videos! Keep it up!
Thank you for sharing this day with us. ❤
I visit the park on Mondays. I hit the lightning lanes rides early in the day. I also use single rider on those rides that have it. I look at the tip board for ROTR. I enjoy the Mark Twain and the railroad for a needed rest.
Thank you fresh baked! Definitely needed this!

From what I hear, Mondays are now the busiest day at Disneyland.
Missed you yesterday bummer... im back today, though. As a frequent atrender myself, i may disagree with some things you say. But i appreciate you and your presentation to the first-time guest.

Waking down Main St I today figured out how the channel was named!

You think of everything! Such a great video! Also, any idea on when Critter Country will open?
the seats on Toads are the most comfortable seats in the park. no one can change my mind
200k subscribers🎉
Could the increase in times be due to Monday being the first day of the Summer promotion? And this will be the norm going forward? I am coming to Disney in July, so interested in picking up as many tips as possible.
Same
I think he filmed this the Monday before the promotion started
David, just curious why you chose Monday when your data was from Fridays? To see if the patterns hold throughout the week?
@17:10 there's those mysterious side queue lines going into Peter Pan's to the left that affects the wait time, have to watch for that
David have you considered collaborating with other Disney UA-camrs to do some of this recon with you on the same day same time just different strategies? you can still do that you know. just go from land to land. strategies are not required. some people just like them.
43:33 It was weird seeing you talk to the camera on-ride, I don't think I've ever seen you do that before
I find it weird seeing you pointing out something so brief
Perfect timing!!! My friends kids FINALLY agreed to a trip! They are 15 and 16 and she finally said whatever if they don’t want to go let’s you and I go. My strategy would have used the single rider line for the Matterhorn.
‘Love the people watching 🥴🍉🍿🇺🇸🎥🎶🎈🎭
Was all of the attraction footage taken on the Pocket 3? Very clear image, if so.
yes. everything was shot with the same camera.
@@FreshBakedDisney impressive quality.

Hey Fresh Baked!!
Poc is so different to wdw as far as line. First trip to dl soon.
We always hit pirates in the morning. It's about 15 minutes
My only addition at the Matterhorn would be check single rider. When the queue is 60/65 NO WAY would single rider be 60/65 min.
IMO Peter Pan is a terrible midday option. I feel the DASS line including MEP as well as guided tours make it just like a lightning lane attraction. Several times I have sat in the queue while they attempt to empty the fast pass queue. I will only rope drop Pan or very late night
The porch is still under refurbishment. Poor Frank…
Help! I just got my mouse ears for Sept..NBC and the puppy chewed them up...
Nice mad hatter ride
Show up at 1 - there be squalls ahead.

Carry-bee-an dude
I'm unsubscribing from your channel since you think everything is great and wonderful at Disneyland
That is your decision! I have a similar opinion as David, as I am a parks person & could care less about the company.
Trucker hat please 🙏
fake screams in the dark, college kids think they are funny
