That only pertains to the host countrys. Israel and Syria are in the state of War.
They are not considered sovereign parts of Iran, no. Attackin an ebassy though is a really big deal regardless and there is a reason why most countries condemned what Israel did there
No, they’re considered “inviolable,” meaning the host country isn’t allowed to send its authorities into it without permission.
Incidentally, Iran complaining about an attack on an embassy is rich indeed.

EDIT: Thank you for all the replies! I learned a lot, and find it very interesting. I'm doing additional reading on Azerbaijan now.
they're sort of an ally of Israel because Iran is their common enemy.
I can imagine he would have to be somewhat careful with what he says on the topic, but it would be cool if he was able to give insights on what he can!
That's a bit like asking someone in Russia to talk directly about Putin and Russian politics...
They serve Israeli interests by supplying 40% of Israel's oil. They have agreed to open their airspace to Israeli planes. They are not receptive to IRGC. They are also allied with Turkey as Azeris are also Turks. Turkey supplied them with drones that defeated the Armenian army.
Azerbaijan is ruled by a dictatorship mafia family, similarly to Syria and North Korea.
The history of Azerbaijan is that it was historically a province of Persia but the Russian empire invaded Iran and took Azerbaijan, incorporating it to themselves which carried on into the soviet union. They became independent after the fall of Soviets.

Does it matter that you and your UA-cam channel are from Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan is a close friend of Israel?
What makes you say they are close? Just curious - I'm pretty ignorant of the politics of that region.
@@fusion9619Well Israel is a huge supporter of Azerbaijan. Their supply of weapons have helped Azerbaijan tremendously in their war against Armenia. The irony is that Azerbaijan has a majority Muslim population and Iran supports majorly Christian Armenia. Armenia and Azerbaijan border each other and have been having territorial disputes since they formed. Search for Nagorno Karabakh for more information. That enclave was under Armenian control but only last year Azerbaijan gained control of that region. They basically surrounded Nagorno Karabakh and held it in a siege. The people there basically fled the region which had a majority Armenian population after Azerbaijan ended the siege. Now the region is completely under Azerbaijan's control. That being said under a UN resolution Nagorno Karabakh was actually supposed to go to Azerbaijan during their formation.
@@davidgeorge6066 interesting. I remember that event being in the news. Didn't that town have a referendum on which country to be a part of before the attack? IMO it doesn't matter which state has a claim on paper - only the community itself can make that decision, and every community in the world has a right to govern itself by itself, however it chooses, with no outside interference. I wonder, if Israel and Iran hadn't taken sides, if the attack would ever have happened.
@@fusion9619 I don't know much about the referendum. But about 100k people have fled the region which means the majority living in that region didn't want to be under Azerbaijan's control. Azerbaijan did promise that the rights of these people will be ensured if they stay but I don't think that can be ensured given the rivalry between the two nations. Yes ideally referendums should be made so that the people could determine for themselves. But that won't happen because if all the states allowed that, I'm sure many such states would cease to exist or would have to willingly give up their territories, especially the ones that are non democratic and don't ensure equal rights for all.
These two states have already been in turmoil before they ever got support from Israel or Iran. And the main reason Azerbaijan annexed that region was because Russia was busy with the war in Ukraine and they were the ones brokering the security situation there. Also militarily and economically Azerbaijan has surpassed Armenia. Basically this was the right opportunity for them. Azerbaijan did what any country would do though. The region is an enclave within their country controlled by a separate entity having allegiance to Armenia. But that being said what happened there was morally wrong.

I agree. Coverage of Middle East became very generic, first: the sorta-sponsored coverage of UAE. And now, it’s playing with Iran’s and Israel’s narrative. Everyone in the Middle East knows Iran is only using Palestine’s plight to appear as “the other side”; whilst they bomb Syria and continued the genocide of ethnic minorities in the west and south of Iran.
Both Iran and Israel are military dictatorships that justify the militarisation with fake “religious governments”. We don’t forget how Israel supplied Iran weapons, despite the sanctions, against Saddam’s Iraq (supported by the US) post-revolution. To keep Iran afloat and militarised and justify the existence of both governments.
@@Verradonairun He literally sponsors ads for using AI programs to create videos, says he uses it, says he dubs his voice over the AI narrator. So yes.

Regardless of our views on their ideology, the strategic acumen of Iranian politics is undeniable. They have succeeded in forging a robust, independent nation. Critics often point out their heavy investment in military power and support for militias abroad; however, it's important to recognize that becoming an economic superpower necessitates first securing the means for self-defense.
And attacking others secures self-defence how?
@@ChucksSEADnDEAD In the realm of politics, one must adopt an aggressive stance and secure assets within one's region to ensure self-defense. Russia attacked Ukraine because of Putin. That's it. He's the one who believed he was the mastermind fooling the West, that he was another great Russian leader, he was the one who needed a final heroic act to put his name in history.
When Ukraine was thinking of joining NATO, Medvedev said that they were free to pick alliances and Putin said Crimea was Ukraine.
Russia sees NATO as an enemy, but Russia really loved NATO money. Why did they build a pipeline towards Germany if Germany is NATO? Why did Tucker try to get Putin to say NATO provoked him, and Putin essentially said NATO doesn't matter?
In 2014, Russia attacked Ukraine because after Russia embargoed Ukrainian goods as leverage, the people got out into the streets and demanded EU membership. That's why they attacked. It wasn't NATO. It was the fact that Ukraine would follow other Eastern European nations and detach from Russia.

Yes. CIA and MI6 coup led to the rise of 1979 islamic revolution. If only the west don't meddle in the region.
The fact that Caspian Report skipped the US-UK coup is telling.
Those aren't proxies, Iran doesn't control those militias. Also, it's misleading to count the number of attacks vs the number of fatalities. Hiroshima, for example, was one attack. Alternatively, attacks can target hardware or cause a disruption without killing anyone.

Iran has considerable control over Syrian militias, a lot of control of Iraqi ones, and a lot of influence over Hezbollah as well. Yemen is more an alliance of convince, and Gaza something between.

Notice how in each of its video's CaspianReport shows "Golan Heghts" as part of Isreal. "Golan Heights" under international law are Syrian territory, occupied by Isreal since 1967. CaspianReport seems to be getting some nice funds for lying to its users.

As an Iranian, I believe we are constantly exposed to criticism of our political choices by BBC Persian, Iran International, and other Western-funded media outlets, which can sometimes be accurate. This has had a significant impact on our perception of the government.
Many of our citizens are now considering a revolution without fully comprehending the psychological manipulation they are subjected to.

Daniel prophetical described this scenario.
Daniel 10: 13But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. 14Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.”
But Daniel predicted another country would turn against Persia.
19“Do not be afraid, you who are highly esteemed,” he said. “Peace! Be strong now; be strong.”
When he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Speak, my lord, since you have given me strength.”
20So he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? Soon I will return to fight against the prince of Persia, and when I go, the prince of Greece will come; 21but first I will tell you what is written in the Book of Truth. (No one supports me against them except Michael, your prince.

How is Iran 'spreading the ashes of conflict' when they were responding to a bombing of their embassy, which under international law is sovereign territory...
Well A) it's not sovereign territory that's not actually how embassy's work,
And 2) that was itself a response to Iranian aggression.

Calling IRGC para military force? You lost all your objectivity.
Someone said it
Per definition, they are paramilitary. They protect the revolution and are separate from the army which protects the state. They have their own generals, armaments, and other structures. Same as Iraq's Revolutionary Guard which protected Sadam
@@torkmandukk ok you just lost credibility too. That's republican guard. Secondly they are military through and through. They have their own air force, navy and even launched rocket to space. Basij in other hand is, they are part of sepah.
@@SinaZarin IRGC is a paramilitary charged to defend Islamic Republic (Not Iranians) the regime against external internal force. They were the backbone of shutting down protesters during 2022 massive protests.
@@SinaZarinIRGC is considered a paramilitary force because it operates alongside Iran's regular armed forces with a broad mandate that includes their national defense, internal security, and various non-military roles such as political and economic activities. This dual nature of military and civilian operations is characteristic of paramilitary organizations. So yes, they technically are paramilitary.
Calling Hamas a proxy is unrealistic and simplistic. The ideology isn’t the same and they have too much religious differences. One is a liberation movement while the other is a territorial supremacy movement. Slight but very important difference
Making the 2 states that use proxies like no others to destroy other countries look like the victims of a proxy war is quiet cynical.
Also any rebel group is automatically against the status quo, so the need to find allies just automatically means they need Iran. So instead of going, "Iran Reee!!" people ought to look at the merits of the rebellion, then realize that if they had _any_ other ally then Iran wouldn't be in the picture.
Organisations are subject to their source of funding.
They absolutely are a proxy.
Exactly. And the Palestinian resistance has its own unique strategies and makes most of their own weapons in-house, even reusing the unexploded bombs of the IOF. Lumping together the various forces that oppose the expanding settler colony is lazy western media shorthand.

This is the most inaccurate narrative I’ve ever heard. The leader of Islamic Republic regime is Azerbaijani himself along with many other top officials in the regime. Islamic regime didn’t let this happen in Syria and kept Assad in Power, how dumb someone could be to think Mullahs do not bomb their own people to stay in power? Regime change is the only solution by maximum financial and political pressure on the regime and maximum support of the Iranian people who have been killed these years to topple the regime. @@dayros2023 "wastes billions" you know nothing of geopolitics if you think they're "wasting billions" learn of Iran's history, the British used a puppet king to steal 50% of the entirety of Irans oil reserves, trillions of dollars. the Shah was taken out by democratic forces in response and so the British and US started hostilities agains them.
The rest of the world would not blink to turn Iran into a completely wasteland like Iraq or Afghanistan is they saw weakness, Iran all in all is sustaining sanctions fairly well and is maintaining a military capability that makes it so that external forces cannot go in and loot their country.

Yup. That's an insane thing to accomplish.
that's what Iran has against American and Israelis. They are native to the region's political, religious and ethnic makeup for centuries. And everyone in the Middle East are aware of this. That's how the IRGC naturally allied themselves with many militant groups and achieved popularity within the region.
