who told you its a vary bad jointed track? The track is just not welded. For this speed is absolutely fine for the boogie to move like that. It is a normal train ride on un-welded ballast track.
+Dimi Proto Just wondering... I've always been under the impression that a train will almost certainly derail on unwelded track. But, it is okay to be unwelded? Is it normal? Just wondering :)
Most tracks are unwelded therefore you hear the sound of the wheels repeating. High speed tracks are welded. For this video the train is running absolutely normal o these tracks. Read railway engineering for beginners if you have questions.
As I read you live in Canada Westlock, being an operator or smt having studies at Technology Institute. However your questions resemble of someone who really does not know much about railway engineering. That's why I recommend a beginners guide for this chapter that probably is not your expertise.
Seriously whats with the u clamp with missing screw on the bottom lol Is it like normal for there to be so many random parts just falling off the train
My guess is the brake rigging is loose and the shocks (dampers) are bad. The track also looks rather rough, by all the movement which can be seen at low speed, especially in the second video.
2:40 - 3:18 intense wheel hop... suspensions are great on trains. I've commuted on the LIRR and u dont feel a thing, but I'm sure its worse on those tracks.
Not that bad for sectional track. The wagon or carriage is not traveling that fast, the angle and closeness of the camera makes it appear as though it where moving at some incredible speed. The track is joined with no discernible defects, the ballast may need re-packing.
I agree the ballast needs packing, to level the rails and smoothen out the ride. The condition of the ground under the rails is most important when it comes to ride quality.
WELL it's a passenger car cause if it was a loaded rail's car it would be riding the rails heavier and less virberating,,, yes the BRAKING SYSTEM IS BOUNCING AROUND ALLOT,,, BUT THE RAIL SEEMS SOLID,,, IF THE BRAKING SYSTEM WAS TIGHTER,,,I SEEN NO PROBLEM,,, BUT THIS MAY BE NORMAL FOR A PASSENGER SET OF WHEEL JOURNAL TRUCKS
It still amazes me they stay on the tracks. Great angle on this video.
Interesting to hear the gear lash/noise as the load changes so rapidly over the undulating trackage.
The view most of us never see, thanks for uploading
Wow! Very amazing dude! This is a very exciting video to watch! Congrats!
RoPermanentWay
Jesus!! How did it stay on the track?!!
wow. those springs are getting a real workout !
Very hypnotic, presumably there is an air spring above, as the vehicle itself is as steady as a rock.
Thats only an illusions since the camera is mounted to the frame of the locomotive.
***** LOL True, I never thought about that until I read your comment! xD
Stephen Williams The vehicle appears steady simply because the camera is firmly attached to it.
Wow! Perfect location for a camera! Frightening almost.
Amazed the brake rigging hasn't shaken off.
Without derailment!Respect!:-)
Just Bulgaria :D
That's pretty much what every track is like here in the USA...

+Dimi Proto Well, being referred to a beginner's guide for anything pertaining to rail is an insult to me, lol. But thank you!
Brett Maul Why ? Do you work at the rail industry? By your questions seems not.
As I read you live in Canada Westlock, being an operator or smt having studies at Technology Institute. However your questions resemble of someone who really does not know much about railway engineering. That's why I recommend a beginners guide for this chapter that probably is not your expertise.
THAT IS MURDER ON THE TRUCKS.
Ikr
I learned a big lesson today about boogies flexibility
Fascinating. What kind of train ist this, and in which country?
+5mnz7fg It's Romania
It''s Bulgaria.
+Roland Berekmeri Tu son of a plaja...

I thing there a fight between wheels and suspensions !
Iz that really safe ?!!
Breaks r sooo loose !
It looks worse than it is due to the shaking of the brake rigging and springs. The track isn't that bad.

But is OK to do like that on a track with joint rail. Did you hear about vehicle movements on the rail?
Super!
Здравей ! Кой е този участък ? Подбалканската ? Поздрави за невероятните клипове и все повече да ни радваш !
om, sach kaha bhai bhut kharab track hai

the brakes...
Must be american trains
Famajor miuzic biurifo
It appears terribly antiquated today but was a marvelous example of engineering in its day. Movement by brute force!
not much can beat the train for efficiency, even in 2023
Ummmmmm...... No thanks....... I think he might need a neck brace.
Is it V43?
Piękna sprawa.:D
+Marcin Purc If you mean Hungarian V43 (today 431) then no.
Thaaaank you suspension!
and shocks
I'll put a 100$ in the middle of the coil who wants to grab it haha
Go in sarajevo and you will see the worst tram tracks...
is this in India??
bulgaria
Track is extremely very bad
Where is it? India?
Bulgaria !
dvdvideo1234 Thanks for the answer. :D

Sure do my friend :)

+Tejasnite It's a locomotive. Notice the rubber tubing on the left. Its to dispense sand for traction.
+Feggit YEAH your rightit IT would have to be a LOCOMOTIVE,,,exactly
Това е някъде след Карлово.
mY GOD!!!!
The motor is also taking a beating
Yeah! 100km/h is a max speed. It's maybe pantograf from czech production.
This train is todey historic. Pantograf is awesome.
Serbia? :D
Bulgaria...
Too close... Bulgaria :D
WHO GIVES A DAM IF IT'S JOINTED OR WELDED TRACK THERE CAN BE DERAILS ON BOTH AND BAD ONES.
