This is a awesome video. I did the torsion bar keys and it made om 2017 Chevy ride a little rougher. I like the setup on this and I bet the ride is awesome. I'll look into this and I can do it in a weekend. Thanks!
Can you do a start up and exhaust video? Curious to see how much different the truck sounds after the banks upgrades. Especially the turbo sound at startup
I like the video. I just bought a 17’ Chevy 2500hd 6.0 gas 4x4. I absolutely hate the torsion bars. And always have . Coil overs look bad ass on there. I plan on installing this kit on mine.
Hey Griffin, just checking in. Are you still enjoying the coil over conversion kit? Would you be able to comment on ride quality vs stock, and towing ride quality and handling? thanks!
I see no one else noticed but at what point did you notice you had the wrong side upper control arm on while installing the coilover? Lol. Sorry had to point that out. How is the ride? Stiffer or softer?
Yeah I was hoping he would own up to the error... nothing any of us aren't guilty of. I know I've put on parts backwards or wrong 100 times only to realize later in the process.
I know this is an old video, but what is your measurement of ground to fender? Also what tires. I looking at this lift just want the truck to still fit in my garage. Mostly want to convert to coil over
That’s what I was wondering too. I have an ‘03 Suburban 2500 and you need to do some cutting and weld on the new brackets. Maybe the newer 2500’s are more adaptable to coil over conversions?
Video doesn't explain the real performance value offroad. That's as important as how to install the thing. He says it "handles offroad great" while driving down a super flat hard packed dirt road.
I just purchased the same truck, even the same color, LOL I've been really looking at the BDS system, just a couple of questions, I saw on your test drive you had the stock wheels on, I take it you don't have to change those, and now you've been driving it for a while how is the drive, did it stiffen the ride and did it affect the towing? I appreciate the video and your insight.
I love seeing someone who has enough coin for a newer Denali, and the motivation still to the job themselves. Great video!!!!
Maybe he’s doing it cause he does have a Denali 🤷♂️
Dang Cali is beautiful at sunset especially with that shiny white Denali driving through the hills, awesome video Griffin!👍

You guys crack me up with the old lady dishwasher gloves.
Coilover looks like it rides so smooth! Nice vid!

Nice job man loving the videos

Are there any adjustments that need to be made to use the factory wheels with this kit? I have a 2018 Denali HD 2500HD.
Thats a nice kit!

I’m looking at this exact set up , how much did it cost you ?
How does it ride on roads with potholes now? How is it on washboards?
No welding? All bolt on? Did you eliminate the torsion bars?

Looks good!!

I assume you didn't install the provided rear blocks?
Correct. I like how it sits without them in.
Griffin, I’m a fellow Dukie, MBA 2003. I’m looking at doing the 2-3” coilover on my 2019 3500HD Denali SRW. Can I put 35” tires under it?
Little late to the party, but yes, 35s (295-305) on stock wheels will fit without any trimming. Do rub on the frame though
Do you need back spacers with new upper arms? No rubbing?
looks like a 2.5" diameter shock to meeee.
Was there any welding needed? I thought the coilover brackets had to be welded in
Yes I did TIG weld those in myself.
I think your upper a arms are on the wrong sides.
Rancho Belago "MV" 🤙🏽

Did anyone else cringe when you saw all those those nice anodized shocks and coils just lying on bare concrete getting scratched up?
anyone have this and plow with their trucks
purogto32 someone answer this man! Can you plow with this set up??????
🥰
