I hate how ME2 retconed or jettisoned so many things from the first game. There was no reason to do that. No lore explanation doesn't make it any less dumb. They written themselves into a corner the size of a galaxy with that game that is for some reason the favorite. That always felt like a slap in the face of ME1 since ME2 itself already distanced itself from everything it set up. Then Mass Effect 3 drives into wall the entire game.

@@spartanq7781 I will forever wonder who those players were, and why they couldn’t manage heat output. Like we had a couple of Star Wars games, Halo, Halo 2, and plenty of other games that involved heat management of plasma or “energy” weapons prior to Mass Effect 1, releases concurrent within the same year and the year after where heat build up was a CORE weapons gameplay loop element!
Damnit, I'm going to have to do another playthrough soon. ME1 to 3 is a heck of an undertaking at this point in my life, but to hell with it. The nostalgia is calling me!
I've not played them but this sounds interesting. Reminding me of Stargate with the exotic materials being used to forge them being resistant to damage and time, allowing galactic traversal.
Wow, your branching into Mass Effect lore too? just in time for me! I just started playing through all the Mass Effects for the second time (except 3 thats gonna be a first playthrough) because i skipped all the side content last time. Im loving it
I mean he has been covering it, but due to much Halo Lore, he didn't do it consistently. Also I think viewership was lower. Now that Halo Lore no longer has the same hype - well it is easier to branch out.
It's a great thing you're branching out from Halo - I love Halo stuff but sometimes there's not much there when the several year droughts hit. I think you'll be successful with a wide net. Mass Effect itself is pretty niche, it's been a while since the series. Good luck in your ventures. I'd say Elden Ring is large nowadays if that world interests you.
It's a real shame that your non-Halo content doesn't enjoy the same viewership. Personally, I find it increadibly hard to pick between Halo and Mass Effect for my pick of favourite sci-fi universe, so you doing ME videos is perfect. I hope you keep doing them.
@@omegawolfbrony tbf I got it for like $3 in 2018 and never played it. Sadly all the newer games have gotten worse to the point that by modern standards Andromeda seems like a decent game actually
You know to make a mass effect channel for the mass effect franchise for theories and lore just like you have for halo. I think it probably would do well . I see potential in a mass effect channel since it’s rich with theory and lore videos.
Great to see you doing mass effect vid. Here wondering could the Reapers beat the flood it a fun debate me and my bud have. I am on the flood team while he on the Reapers team.
I don't know much about flood naval capabilities, but in a ground battle with a lot of organic life forms around, I'd give it to the Reapers. While both sides have the power to corrupt and control other organisms, the Reapers can cybernetically augment their corrupted organics, integrating weapons, armour, shields and whatever else they want directly into their ground forces. Additionally, Reapers themselves can land on the surface of a planet and act like 2 km tall walkers.
Mass Relays don't make much sense with things. There is debris everywhere and moving at FTL speeds should mean a tiny bit of sand should be messing them up. It doesn't. This has lewd me to believe it either uses extra energy in the front to push debris out of the way around the 'wave' like a alcubier drive, yes spelt wrong for sure. My other less likely is a type of other dimension slip that only vaguely interferes with our own dimension such as the light seen. Other issue is how the Reapers don't have control over them. They did with the Citadel but did not do the same for others? They couldn't track the Mu relay, ping it, start it up, shut it down, overload as a massive weapon for OOC civilizations too advanced. Good game series over all even if ME2/3 retconned so much of ME1 to be different universes at times which is still annoying but overall a fun franchise.
Quantum shields don't make mass relays indestructible, just almost indestructible. In-game the asteroid is described as being the size of a "small planet".
Ah yes, "Reapers". We have dismissed those claims.
Every video a reaper is mentioned on lmao

Takes me back to the time when i first started playing ME, listening and reading all the in-game lore and getting lost in that universe 😊
@@АнтонМазовецкий man same
Mass Effect was the first game I let myself get lost in. The narrated Codex I think helped a lot there
Truly was an amazing time. So much in depth lore and data on everything in the games.
It's awesome to see you doing other Sci fi content. The only sour note is knowing its because Halo has pretty much died.
Damnit, I'm going to have to do another playthrough soon. ME1 to 3 is a heck of an undertaking at this point in my life, but to hell with it. The nostalgia is calling me!
Mass effect is such an awesome story
Ooh, new Mass Effect lore! This looks pretty cool!

BTW search for "00 Multiverse" - you will see that video is almost 2 years old.
So jealous. Wish I could replay them for the first time.
@@jonathanbates9928 Games are fantastic
I just started playing mass effect legendary edition this month
I find it funny that the Mu relay could survive a supernova unscathed, but we destroy a relay in ME2 by lightly bumping a bit of rock into it.
Mass Effect after the first game was inconsistent and nonsensical.
@@spartanq7781 Still great though.
@@TheFanFoundation A fraction of it.
I think the difference is sir Isaac Newton being the deadliest son of a bitch in space when its rock vs angry star energy at a distance
Yes, but we never get any indication of how close said supernova was. The relay may have been on the outskirts of the explosion - 42-55au on average.
I don’t know much about mass effect these are perfect and easy digestible keep up the great work @installation00
Im very interested in how the dark space mass relay (the Reaper side) may look. if its similar to the citadel or something far more
Mass Effect has been trending across the sci fi channels recently.
we need to bring it back alive not that it ever died
To be fair, most of those inhabitants were batarians. They don't count.
Loving the Mass Effect content ❤
Any lore you wanna delve into and explore, I'm here for it. Do all the Sci-fi.
Bro, literally the same month I started playing through the mass effect trilogy installation 00 starts making lore videos on them.

Report to the ship as soon as possible.
Reapers are basically mass effects version of the flood
They're actually closer to the forerunners using flood tactics.
Hmmm. Be glad they never discovered the Eve gate. That cluster of space is expensive.
It would be neat to see you do a breakdown on the arkhamverse batsuit and car

I wonder if they work like a Stargate?
Installation00 can you do videos on Mass Effects fire arms and maybe the M35 MAKO(its a ground vehicle).
Love to see mass effect but... patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.
I’m not saying you should do the whole codex… but Y’know…. 👀

Surprised the asteroid destroyed the relay despite the quantum lock.
