Yep. One of the best answers I’ve seen. ChatGPT is simply tool. I remember the obsession and fear around Wikipedia. The fear my teachers had of plagiarism and the extra lessons about citing sources. I imagine if social media back then was like it is now, the overall reaction would be similar. Technology is what you make of it, there’s no such thing as pure evil or a silver bullet that will solve all your problems.
Technology is what we make of it but that starts when we make it, and is true mostly as it's made and then of course used but the first 10 years of use id estimate is most influenced by its design and it's a fallacy to think what we take from something starts at a neutral square one, or even that square one of use is when its ready for 'popular use'--so.mamy countries see technology much later than America and it's only a bigoted logic that casts that as morally neutral when tech influences power and social mobility/stability and freedom so so much --not you, but when you get down into it that's very visible.
I asked ChatGPT to respond: "Hozier raises valid points about the societal fascination with ChatGPT and similar AI technologies. It's true that our collective excitement often overshadows a critical examination of the technology's actual capabilities and limitations. While AI tools like ChatGPT can indeed enhance productivity, generate economic value, and transform various industries, it is crucial to maintain a balanced view. The technology, although impressive, is not without flaws. It can produce unremarkable or even harmful content, reflecting the biases and limitations present in its training data. Moreover, the broader implications of AI on employment and creativity deserve thoughtful consideration. Rather than seeing AI purely as a miracle solution, it is essential to engage in meaningful discussions about ethical use, potential risks, and the future of human-AI collaboration. By doing so, we can better navigate the complexities of integrating such technologies into our lives while addressing the concerns and challenges they present. In essence, Hozier's critique invites us to look beyond the surface of technological marvels and engage in deeper, more reflective conversations about their role in society."
Thank you so much for your videos!! I'm in my 20s currently, and I've been sharing your resources with my friends. I think these times are especially hard for younger people, as it is much easier for us to cling to doomerism or extreme optimism, and no in between. Your channel helped me to rise out of my doomerist ideals, and I am excited for the future that may come. I'm not saying that it's going to be pretty, but I am ready for the changes that will occur where (hopefully) it will start an impact for things to be for the better. I'm exhausted with the normalization of mass consumption, lack of communities and isolation. I would like to be able to experience more days where things feel communal again. I would like to be able to have more of a life similar to the period of the Romanticism era (albeit, some stuff that they taught wasn't that great) where they believed in a relationship between nature and themselves. It's sad that we as humans tend to believe that we are above nature, when we wouldn't even be here without it. Currently, I'm trying to spend these next few months saving up money to move to Western NY. Is this at least a decent preparation spot regarding what may come for next year? I'm also definitely going to take your advice about the lighters, as well as investing into classes and things where I can learn more about what I can give to others. We will need that more and more in these upcoming times. I have a lot of soft skills and things correlated to the digital world, but not enough hard ones. It's going to be a lot of work, preparation, and resilience, but I don't want to give up. I want to stay here to be able to fight for a decent future as much as I can. Thank you so much once again for the hard work that you do! I'm going to try my best to spread more word about your channel, I haven't seen much people like you in UA-cam where there is discussion regarding climate change in a way that isn't overly optimistic or doomerist, but instead realist.
If people can google everythimg in their head because of a microship and they instantly know everything that we as a species know, then just remember there would never ever be that feeling anymore that you actually achieved something. Everyone is just on an equal plainfield from birth and there would be no varience in people, it would just be a bland mesh.
As a neuroimager and research scientist, AI can much more helpful than having a simple conversation. Hozier isn’t really the person to ask on this topic for informed opinions, even though I love his music. I wouldn’t ask for a programmer for neural networks about their opinions on digitized instruments in recordings vs real instruments because they likely know nothing about the topic. Same goes here.
You're right. I'll use hoziers phrasing when i say this: I find people's obsession with demonizing capitalism much more interesting than their uneducated takes on innovation because they will say literally anything to not have to give credit. His take is very bad and he knows better but is being wilfully ignorant.
AI is going to end a lot of jobs across all industries. What are we all gonna do for work? Do they want to make us useless 🤦♀️ we need to be productive in society. This is dumb.

Please don’t say that that’s disrespectful
I think he goes by fae king or bog man again 🎉
@fosthedoll 😂 Jesus would have laughed. And Will I Am is with Satan
indeed- yum
This man could say ANYTHING and id wholeheartedly believe him and agree with him
He said anything, he is better on singing than talking
It’s the Irish accent. I could listen to Irish people talk all day lol
Hozier/Andrew is true, real intelligence!
This is my first time to listen to him speak, his voice is very calming. His music is so intense, it’s a surprise. ❤

He’s my folklore Jesus

So basically chatgpt itself agrees with him😂
And that’s why I love him.
Am I the only one who thinks he sometimes looks like Chris Evens....?
Yes, Chris Evans can definitely play Hozier in a movie!
yeah they have the same eyebrows and eyes.
Its his eye brows and his A+ beard grooming.
A bit. He is dreamy and the both have some morals so, yeah. A bit
It's a fairly common eye/ eyebrow preset, I've found
I respect his opinion
Agreed! Our obsession with uninteresting verses makes me worried about how we are going to move forward into the future. 💔
I LOVE HOZIER❤️❤️
Thank you so much for your videos!!

Amen, Andrew
He's young, he should have been there when the internet blew up.
He kinda was, he's 34
he thinks he's sooo smart and deep i love him so much
Andrew. Heart and honesty is more interesting in the end.
My lovers got humor , she’s the giggle at a funeral.😂
If we don't go back to simplicity a great calamity will result.
💜💜💜 so beautiful
Y'all he's on to something..
On point
The lord has spoken
It's so weird to me how vocalists completely lose their accents when they sing.
Yes, my Bogfather. ❤
so cool!! :))
The octopus festival is pesticide?
The Irish activist artists might just save humanity from themselves.
I don't even know what he is talking about. I just listen to music ....is it a program of sorts?
chatgpt is like a program where u give a prompt and using ai the computer makes something off of your prompt
I do think chat gpt is quite drab too!!
🖤🖤🖤
This is AI people
It’s so bad for the environment- uses tons of electricity. We don’t need that at all.
I Have never opened Chat GPT, Twitter, or Tok Tok. I personally believe that this short form content is trashing the minds of young people

Says the man with no job.
The man could literally retire your entire family
Who somehow has a net worth of $6 million
He quite literally does have one though
Weird to say, some people just hate successful people I guess. The man literally sings like the heavens are moving.
He's a musician and made a lot of money
