Flying Avelo Airlines from Wilmington DE to Orlando FL. Sept 2023

We flew Avelo Airlines from Wilmington, DE to Orlando, FL. Wanted to see if the affordable airfare is worth it and how it is to fly from a regional airport rather than Philadelphia.

I liked that it wasn't crowded! Both flights I wasn't sitting right next to someone!

I have anxiety around crowd, and I love flying out of that airport!

I think the only thing that could make that trip better is if they flew into Sanford instead of MCO. Easy on both ends. Sanford is the gem of Orlando air travel in my opinion. Thanks for sharing

I’m not a frequent flier so I would much more fly from this small airport than Baltimore or Philadelphia. My anxiety level goes sky high around large crowds so I’m looking forward to using Wilmington!

Avelo Airlines has already started flights on June 13th twice a week from New Haven Tweed Airport to Lakeland Linder International Airport International Airport in Florida that started on June 13th twice a week,so far that's the only passenger flight for now at Lakeland which hasn't had any scheduled passenger flights in over 10 years although the airport has lately been a successful cargo hub when Amazon chose Lakeland over Tampa as a hub a few years ago because of more ample space there.
