I kept from obtaining one due to me not wanting people to think I am trying To keep my daughter (15) away from him but the Hell with it people are going to think what they want . It's time and I've tried talking to my lawyer but he is too much into... saying" It's Advised " Concerning Visitation Schedule . I'm not jeopardizing our my Safety anymore . SMH ❗ 🙏

Right they don't respect boundaries. That is true. What if they are in your house though? I think kissing their butt is going to make them more powerful. I think reacting definitively is all you can do. Running makes it worse because they replicate wherever you go. So what if you set them off? That will make them get in trouble. All this running is basically enabling them.
I learnt to make it so they don't know where the boundaries are. I learnt that from being brought up by my narc dad. So that when I was with my ex for ten years, it meant that I was able to be in control, by shifting the bar of boundaries up and down so he didn't know wtf the boundaries were and it did his head in. Ie. Id make it so the bar was lower but then in the next breath it was higher again then lower again then higher again on the same subject and therefore I ended up not being as hurt as I could have been. Still hurt to a degree, but not to the extent that I know I could have been, because of what I learnt being brought up by my dad. Narcs play games. I learnt to be a better gamer. Its awful really. I had to mimic the narc coz I couldn't get away from him for ages. And its awful coz I knew it was 50/50 I could send him into a rage. Its a mindset after a while if you have to live with the narc when you don't want to.
I found youtube videos such as how to disarm a narcissist and 5 things to respond to a narc, and the smiling whole saying no technique. It takes strength to do it and be fearless, but, I got to the point where I thought this: I may aswell play the game or a game, because I couldnt get away from him.if I didn't play the game he'd be horrid anyway. So I got to the point I thought well I may aswell do it, at least then I'm not just sitting there getting abuse.
anytime i set a boundary with nmom she tells me this same thing: "too many rules. stop telling me what to do, stop trying to control me. if u dont like it here get out"

You just enforce your rules then, quietly. Whatever your boundary is, you just stick to it and if she violates it, then you react. If that means ignoring her or whatever your punishment is, then just do it.
yes i hate it. it sucks. and i hate the fact im sad for her also. that i wish she could be healthy and normal despite all that shes done to hurt me. fuck it. i just want to get out of here and never talk to her again. but if i had the option, id wish she could just change and that i could have her in my life but oh well
yep. ive been dpoing this. and she of course takes it as a personal attack and threatens to kick me out of the house 24/7. shes always doing stupid shit to "get back at me" for me having the audacity to "control her" by setting a boundary. so fucking sick of her shit.
and of course if you react in any way whatsoever then they will spin it around and say youre the problem. almost one year ago, she called the police on me because i stood up to her and told her she cant keep treating me like shit, yelling at me like she does etc and that im not going to put up with it anymore.
she didnt like that, so she called 911 and told them i had attacked her. and then she gave them quite the show. crocodile tears and everything. told them how she is SOOO scared of me that i might hurt her. that was the final straw for me, and the breaking point. thats when i finally found out shes a narc. ill never forget that.
TylerJaden24 OMG! I'm so sorry to hear that. Please get away asap. No one deserves to be treated like this at all. Your narc parent will get what's coming to her eventually. Just have faith in yourself and heal as you go along. You'll get through this.
I called 911 on my narc mother because she was threatening me and constantly trying to abuse me psychologically. You'd think the police would be there to serve and protect us but they only help with serious conditions it seems and not emotional abuse. They told me that if I didn't like the way she treated me, then leave and get out on my own. That's so true but if I had an easier simple way to leave her and never come back, I would. Then make it so bad, they team up with her as her allies and told her if she had any problems with me, to call them. It was the worse day of my life until she finally stopped giving me the silent treatment after that and started abusing me in a passive aggressive covert way. It's terrible but believe me it gets better for us. We can leave and conquer our obstacles. The narcs sadly can't. GOD bless you.🙏🙏
yea, i hope she gets whats comin to her. im workin on my exit strategy atm so hopefully soon. see, i never called 911 on my nmom even as a teen. because i knew they would do nothing. they would see me as the problem. and tell me the same thing nmom tells me all the time: "if u dont like it then leave". when nmom called the police on me, they also told her to call them again if she ever needed them to "remove me". and then they left me with some mental health brochures and told me to "get some help".

Listen narcissists like it when you run. They even look forward to it. They will cheer and use it to make you look like you are interested in sending them some message. If you treat them like despicable worthless garbage, that is all that works. Running is like saying that they are so important, you would give up your life for them. Give up nothing for them.
Can you please speak about 'Trauma Bonding' between a 'Father and Daughter' (Incest)? Have recently discovered this 'Nightmare'. Never knew of it. Daughter is 40 and will not tell me when this happened. She even lied and said that I knew and did nothing. Seeking to get him in 'Prison'. Quite a 'Shame' to have been married to such a 'Super Predator'. Daughter is protecting him at 'All' Cost but did tell years ago to 'State Authorities'.
