Thank You
Interview Questions:
1. How do you “Backdoor” into a computer?
2. How do you create a new Outlook Profile?
3. Are you familiar with MSTSC and MSRA, Bomgar?
4. How do you map a Share Drive?
5. How do you publish Certificates to the GAL?
6. What information do you look for if the user is experiencing issues logging in?
7. Take me through your trouble shooting process for Applications/Account related issues/Connectivity
problems
8. Are you comfortable using the registry to fix issues?
9. CMD is disabled on most of the computers we work with. If you have to install something via command prompt how would you do it? Last question, obviously is not clear enough. You can still enable cmd by going into system32 program files. Disable can also mean that they can open it but not run anything. Ran as admin will let you use it. - Наука та технологія
nice video as always. i used to work at my university's IT help desk but then COVID-19 happened. Still trying to find an internship by the end of the month, but these videos really help!
Very helpful Kev, every interview questions i have been asked are in your IT interview playlist
Very much helpful.
Looking for a job in level 1 support.
Over 2 years of exp in customer service
Very Interesting
So much to remember!
Yep. I mean it doesn't have to be perfect. You can shortened the answers.
love your channel
thanks
Good video Kevin. Good desktop lights in the background!
Thanks
i would be so good if you demonstrate on how to create outlook or other examples that your given.
I have bunch of videos on outlook. Doesn't make sense to make repetitive videos. Please watch my other videos. I also gone over how to map a share drive as well.
Videos starts at 2:05
I’ve been watching these interview videos the past couple of days , one question . Would these questions be asked for a IT LEVEL 2 SPECIALIST or would there be more complicated questions ?
Depends on the company. Some of these questions can be entry level or tier 2.
What support Engineer level 2 should know? I am working as a service desk level 1 for almost 2 years I want to develop my career I have been in some interviews for level 2 but not succeed. I need your advice on what I should know for level 2 independently of the company
level 2 is more of group policy, imaging, deploying software, running dns and dhcp changes. Understanding networking in depth like firewall changes and also advanced software deployment on servers like server 2016.
@@KevtechITSupport Thank you for your reply
Very useful information but could you talk a little bit slow.
Yep.
What software's should I learn on desktop support role jobs?
Most companies are asking for server 2016, office 365 and video conference apps. It depends on the company but for the most part it's usually 365 and server stuff.
I've got an interview tomorrow as I applied for a Service Desk Analyst job just wondering are these questions for experienced Help desk employees or for entry level(which is me recently graduated).
Both because a question in a job interview can pretty much be anything.
@@KevtechITSupport Cool thank you so much :D
@@KevtechITSupport I've now progressed to the face to face interview stage, your vids really helped thank you
Awesome
@@KevtechITSupport Hey good news I got the Service Desk Analyst job my foots in the door. Your videos really helped me prepare thank you so much 😃
Can MSRA be used to share my screen with 10 people?
Not sure what the limit is but you can definitely share the screen with it.
what time is the livestream?
always 2pm est.
why's it called "backdoor?" That's totally a hacking term for when you have a shell running in the background on the DL. That question would kill me on an interview.
Yeah. The questions can be tricky sometimes.
question 9 doesn't make sense. how do you install through command if CMD is disabled but CMD and command line are the same thing, no?
You can open it up on the c drive and run as admin or you can temporarily enable cmd for that user. Than you run the command afterwards. There cmd app on c drive. Just because its disabled doesn't mean you can't open it. You can run as the administrator and open it on the c drive system 32 files. I did that in my last job. There always a work around. The admin can open it even if its disabled. Also cmd disabled can mean they can open it but not run it or disabled can also mean that it's not on the computer when you look for it on the start menu. It can be disabled for the user but if you do run as admin, it will work for you. The person doing the interview has be to more specific but disabled can mean a lot of things 😀.
