- Welcome to Season 2 of The Lifestyle Pioneers!
Join us for Part 1 of our K'gari (Fraser Island) adventure, where we prepare to take our caravan on the beach! Something about taking your home onto a sand island by a barge brings on the nerves!
Luckily we're joined by some of our mates for this one, so we've got help if we need it. After airing down, it's time to tackle the infamous Inskip Point to get to the barge.
Once on the island, we set off north towards camp near Eli Creek and the Maheno Wreck. There are a few challenges along the way as the tide is too high to make it around the rocks, and we're forced to take the inland tracks.... and they're steep, windy and narrow!
We eventually make camp and tuck the caravan off the beach behind the dunes.
The following day, we're off to find Lake McKenzie, one of the more famous sights on the island. On the way, we stop off to check out the Lake Wabby lookout before being greeted by the crystal clear waters of Lake McKenzie.

Thanks for the video. Just gives me more ammo to hit my wife up to take our zone on Fraser too. :) Definitely can be done if you have recovery gear and a small convoy.
Absolutely. Don't tell the wife it was me 😉😆
Love your "Give it a go" vibe. Thanks for the episode.
Thanks mate. GLad you enjoyed it.
Enjoyed the content once again.
Great also to see you drag the ZONE to places it was built to keep you happy and safe in.
Cheers 🍻
Thanks 👍 Appreciate your feedback
Thanks guys. I went to Fraser island back in the 1970's when I lived in Oz. The forest was the thing that impressed me back then. Thanks for bringing back the memories. 😊

Can't wait to go, so leave the van there, nowhere else you can take it no fuss.
See an amarok was with on the trip and seemed to keep up. Any issues with transmission overheat?
Manual gearbox, no issues 👍
Hi, Just wondering what your diesel usage is like, highway k's?
When towing average is around 18ltrs/100km
God I'm jealous
It's a great spot 👌
Hi guys, I've tuned into some of your utube vids over the last year and it has been great content, you have provided a great incite into travelling Oz (without the influence of MSM) most informative, true to life.
However I just watched the s*itshow you did with the "main strem media, rhymes with 10" and it was disgusting!
Appreciate you may have got a boost from the short term notoriety but it switched me off.
Thanks Mac. Glad you enjoy our vids. Not sure I understood all of your comment (what's MSM?). I'm assuming you watched (and didn't enjoy 😆) our What's Up Down Under episodes on Channel 10? We had a lot of fun filming with them but it's obviously a very different style to our UA-cam.
