Yeah, I tried to get in on that, but it was purchased maybe a month before that rebate came out. They should have let me have it anyway after everything they put me through with the PC model, and it STILL returned in less than satisfactory condition. Hard to find good service these days. 😏 Thanks for your feedback, and thanks for watching. 😁
Totally agree on that box it come with heck I got the Smith 22 Magnum and it came with a nice Smith case but then the 22 mag is last years model. Great video 👍🏻
Thanks for this great video, I wish if you can make a video how you installed the nice aftermarket attachment to the magazine. Or make a video for the accessories optics etc... Thanks 👍
@@whatwouldlewdo Hi , I have good news... after the range today I have bought the Shield Plus optics ready model. I can tell you I was and still torn between the Hellcat PRO. Ill have to wait two weeks as the Shield plus not in stock. The hellcat is not to big by much.
@@RanTausi Can't go wrong with the Shield Plus ! The major complaints hear about the Hellcat is that out of the micro 9 line up, it has the worst recoil of them all. The Plus is smooth sailing, very little recoil to manage. That may be something you want to take into consideration.
@@RanTausi I saw a photo of it. Which version did you get ? There is one I saw that doesn't seem to go very high up on the gun, which could potentially lead to rust issues from body sweat. Unless, of course, you do like I do and wear a thin compression shirt underneath. That's the only way I don't have issues with moisture on the back of my holster. Either way, I'd rather there be moisture on the holster instead of the pewstola. Haha

@What Would Lew Do the serrations on m&ps are the best in the business, there for function not looks as the way it should be. Who gives a shit about looks. People should not be press checking from the front of the firearm to begin with lol.
I don't check from the front either, but since it's trending, I thought to mention it. As for me not liking the way the serrations look, that's my opinion, and I still share that sentiment.
@@Schizophrenic-Clown No, I used enamel paint. Most folks use acrylic, but I have enamel, so that's what I went with. As far as the kydex holster I’m using on my 3.5 9C…it has that REALLY sketchy release that sits right on top of the trigger. Constantly aware of it and careful…but you could imagine being stressed and moving too fast (boom)
@@kevskatesNM73 I like the M&P line too. The new Carry Comp is a sessy beastress, but I had issues with it at the GOALS range day. @@whatwouldlewdo 😂 oh man- Sunday a friend wanted to go shoot “a giant box of 65 grain training rounds” a LE friend of his gave him. I didn’t believe it either (65 grain 9mm rounds???). Long story short: these were ceramic rounds meant to shatter when they hit a hard surface. After about 1000 rounds with zero malfunctions on my M&P- which I cleaned on Labor Day- the first jam up mag spring stuck with the bullets just flopping around all loose. Fixed that just poking w screwdriver. Next mag, slide stuck back about a half inch, I had to slap it shut to fire…my friend looked at it…whatever they use to hold the ceramic bullet together made a huge mess…SUPER dirty sludge all inside the gun, all in both my mags. The gunsmith cleaning all that crap out never heard of these either. lol I know why this cop “gifted him” this giant box of them though.
If the shield plus would've had a pickrail, I probably would have picked one up. But as it stand, I already have the gen one. I already have a 2.0. & on both of those firearms. I've upgraded the trigger, sites. and the springs in the OEM magazines to allow extra capacity. so I can't see myself buying the Plus. It'll be like having three of the exact same firearms, in my opinion. And more importantly, I've already purchased a Springfield Hellcat And it's smaller than the shield plus with. way more capacity. you can get 11, 13, 14, 15, and now 17 Round mags for the Hellcat.. Smith & Wesson is late to the party, and they only brought a better trigger to the game
Seriously ? You can get a 33 Rd magazine for some models, but it that really gonna be concealable !? Face it, there is a point of diminishing return on capacity, friend. 😆 As for comparing the Shield Plus to the older Shield models, the Shield Plus is the best of all three, hands down. Plus it will ALWAYS be more reliable than any other S&W that has aftermarket modifications. External is one thing. Internal is a big no-no. I'm sure you've had no issues, but it's just something we shouldn't take a gamble on. That's just MY opinion though. As for the Hellcat, the main gripe I've heard about it is that it has terrible recoil. Most people refer to micro 9's as "snappy", but that one is said to be among the worst. Finally, to the comment about Shield being late to the party, if that was true, then they certainly would be fashionably late, because they are definitely grabbing the attention of the majority of fan boys of all the other snoozefest pewstolas. I'd call that a win in my book.
