One of those family packs of crisps, the ones like a pillow. Roast chicken, smoky bacon and beef flavours I reckon. Need proper snacks if you're stuck in merica.
Just got to watch Noel live in Dallas this past weekend and he and the band sounded really spot on! This is the first time I have seen Nic conduct an interview, thank you mate for not asking the typical questions and for taking to time to listen to and then counter Noel's answer's! Great interview!!!
@@firetv2169 First of all I am a Manc who moved stateside a number of years ago! Secondly, many of my American mates over here have great taste in music!
@@rkid727 Yep I have never sweat so much in all my life but was well worth it! I wish they had played a few more tunes though, was by far the shortest set I have seen Noel play! No Encore either but seriously was absolute class/Genius at work!
5 years between who built the moon and council skies… hopefully he gets around to recording the 2 albums he’s written. He likes to take his sweet time. My 11 year old LOVES “I’m not giving up tonight”.
kudos to the interviewer, knew when to add his comments but largely left noel to suss the words to questions that were going to prompt more than the one size fits all answers
I heard him in another interview say that his next album is going to be basically acoustic and then he's going to put out an album of guitar rock songs, so I'm guessing that second one might have a bit of Oasis-y stuff on it. Unless somehow he and Liam can work things out and ... I better stop before I start thinking of a reunion.
I think Noel has overlooked the value of production. The new album definitely needs extra production. The vocals are too buried in the mix on many tracks.
I agree. The new album sounds good but not great. I wonder what it would have sounded like produced by Dave Sardy and mixed by Tchad Blake just as an example.
If you want to hear everything Noel has ever said, and every story he has ever told in every interview he has ever done, all you need to do is listen to one interview. Any one interview. It's exactly the same boring waffle and bs in every interview.
What’s Noel got hidden in his jacket, box of chocolates?
Put a bit of timber on by the looks of it
@@mariolabriola1037haha his jackets done him dirty there

Was at the Dallas show too. Hot as hell, but they sounded amazing. Worth the trip from Arlington.
I was there drunk as hell loved it

Nic Harcourt must be the last proper music journalist and interviewer on UA-cam. Thanks Nic!
Amazing interview 👏👏👏
What was amazing about it?
Sounds like he's had a few after the gig last night!!! And he mentioned that he has enough songs for at least 2 albums. 👍
NG looks pretty damn good for 56!
He's so funny and Coool

Noel looks bored or tired here

Things going on in England lol yes your divorce 😢!!
Cracking interview.x
Loves sound checks. Hates encores. Bring back the encores, Noel.
Did you hear the story recently where Noel got his ring from
Pawnshop in Japan, it's an American highschool ring or something, the gem is glass
when do we get to hear these other 2 albums?
Great! Thanks
Noel is such a prolific songwriter. I love that he knows what he wants and just gets on w it.
Great comment, always writes and produces great music that just gets better.
Oasis reunion or not, does it matter?

Wish he brought back the live strings to the gigs. Loved the gigs for his first albums
Has anybody read the book “Who built the Moon “, watching this?
So hard to understand Noel’s English for me as a foreigner 😅
I thought this guys name was Nice Haircut at first.
The next oasis album in his jacket
I saw him in Denver and the band seemed to be having a lot of fun onstage.
It was like Glastonbury... 🤣

"...got another couple of albums in the bag already" SWEET! Wonder if Noel ever puts aside some too-oasis-y songs for the day if they ever do...

I do miss the loud guitars from Oasis era Noel. Hopefully he gets reminiscent for that sound again.
Nah..

For me he has done a good job
I agree. The new album sounds good but not great. I wonder what it would have sounded like produced by Dave Sardy and mixed by Tchad Blake just as an example.
Agreee. Production is terrible. Production of some of the oasis b sides are better
